WWE bringing the big guns for massive Raw Reunion show tomorrow

WWE has released a commemorative t-shirt for this Monday’s Raw Reunion show which features all the legends that will be appearing.

In total, 38 former WWE Superstars will be on hand for what is being billed the biggest reunion ever and WWE is sparing no expenses by bringing in the big guns. It is rumored that USA Network came up with the idea for this show just like they did with the 24/7 title idea and the company is hoping to draw a huge number as far as ratings go.

Set to appear in alphabetical order are: Alicia Fox, Alundra Blayze, Booker T, Candice Michelle, Christian, D-Von Dudley, Eric Bischoff, Eve Torres, Hulk Hogan, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Jerry Brisco, Jillian Hall, Jimmy Hart, Jonathan Coachman, Kaitlyn, Kelly Kelly, Kevin Nash, Kurt Angle, Lilian Garcia, Mark Henry, Melina, Mick Foley, Pat Patterson, Ric Flair, Rikishi, Road Dogg, Ron Simmons, Santino Marella, Scott Hall, Sgt Slaughter, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, Ted DiBiase, The Boogeyman, The Godfather, The Hurricane, Triple H, and X-Pac.

Notable misses are The Undertaker, Edge, The Rock, and John Cena, who all had a huge part in the history of Monday Night Raw. This will be the first time that Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan will be on the same show since the opening segment of WrestleMania XXX.

Impact heading back to Mexico City and Las Vegas for more TV tapings

Impact Wrestling will be returning to both Mexico and Las Vegas for more television tapings.

After tapings at Port Hueneme, California on August 4, Impact will be heading to Mexico City for tapings on August 15 and 16. The Fronton Mexico last hosted Impact shows back in January. Then in September, Impact heads to Sin City for two more days of television tapings from Las Vegas, Nevada on September 5 and 6.

Ever since Anthem took over the company, Impact had been taping television shows in different parts of the country rather than holding tapings in the same location as what happened most of the times in the past. Moving out of Universal Studios also enabled Impact to at least make some money by charging for entrance as Universal tapings were free for people already in the theme park.

Rhyno appears at Impact Wrestling tapings in Windsor

Former ECW champion Rhyno was part of the Windsor Impact Wrestling tapings this weekend and unlike last time, he had no mask on.

On the Twitter account, Impact Wrestling uploaded fan footage of how Rhyno reintroduced himself to the crowd, with the episode airing in full next Friday.

Rhyno showed up under a mask at Slammiversary XVII and speared Michael Elgin following his loss to Brian Cage. He never removed his mask but everyone in the building recognized his gore.

His last official date with WWE was July 17 and Rhyno got permission to be at the Slammiversary pay-per-view a few weeks earlier but remained with his face covered.

Awesome Kong discusses her surprise return to All Elite Wrestling

In an interview with the Asbury Park Press, Kia Stevens, the artist also known as Awesome Kong, discussed the new series of GLOW on Netflix as well as her involvement with All Elite Wrestling.

Kong made a surprise appearance at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view this past May and was also at the Fight For The Fallen show as Brandi Rhodes’ “insurance policy.”

Talking about returning to the Awesome Kong gimmick, Stevens said that it was “a strangle” to get back in it because the character is so different from her real-life persona. But it was Diamond Dallas Page who gave her a good pep-talk backstage and the former Impact Knockouts champion was back ready to show how awesome she is.

“The reception was so breathtaking that my knees almost buckled,” Stevens said. “I almost didn’t make it to that ring because my legs turned to jelly. I love wrestling fans for that.”

Kia seems like she’s sticking around with All Elite Wrestling while also pulling double duty as she works with the television series GLOW.

“I think it’s possible, I think it’s very possible,” she said. “We’re certainly going to try. AEW is very flexible, and they want to give the wrestling community what they want.”

WWE Network to air a Big Show special on July 27

Immediately following the conclusion of the WWE Network Smackville live event on July 27, the Network will air an original special titled Rebuilding The Big Show at 10PM ET.

The one-hour presentation will look at Big Show’s 25-year career in professional wrestling and how he’s recovering from a serious surgery.

The former champion has not been seen on WWE television since late November 2018 when he appeared on Smackdown and later suffered a hamstring injury.

Will John Cena be at the Raw Reunion show?

During a recent interview with Deco Drive, former 16-time champion John Cena kept the opportunity to show up on the Raw Reunion show next Monday open and even dropped a hint.

When asked point blank if he is showing up in Tampa, Cena replied, “They say it’s going to be one of the biggest Raws of all time and certainly memorable. Erm…we will…see?” as he did the “you can’t see me” hand motion and a “who knows” facial expression.

Cena was being interviewed for the upcoming release of his new movie Playing With Fire which comes out in theaters in November. He is set to start filming for Fast & Furious 9 as well so his schedule is certainly limited.

The last time we saw Cena on WWE television was at WrestleMania 35 where he interrupted an Elias concert, coming out in his old Dr. of Thuganomics gear. He last appeared on Monday Night Raw on the January 14, 2019 episode, losing a number one contender match for the Universal title against Finn Balor and Drew McIntyre.

24/7 title defended twice at Comic Con on the IGN stage

R-Truth was challenged twice for the 24/7 title while he was being interview by IGN on stage at Comic Con yesterday.

The first one to challenge Truth was the Hurricane. “That’s a dope costume. You look like The Hurricane, but…a little too thick,” Truth said as he tapped on Hurricane’s belly. Then WWE referee John Cone came in the picture. “Oh, that’s a cool costume too, dawg! We have a referee at work named John Cone and you look just like him…but he’s a blond,” Truth continued.

At that point, Hurricane rolled up Truth and he kicked out at two. “What’s up with that!?” Hurricane said, as he vanished. And then, Drake Maverick came in still dressed in his banana costume and also rolled up Truth from behind but Truth kicked out again and then escaped with his title as Maverick lamented on the mic that Truth ruined his life and marriage. “My wife won’t even let me consummate the marriage unless I win the 24/7 title!”

You can see all the shenanigans below.

Wall Street expects another year-over-year decline in WWE earnings for Q2 2019

Wall Street financial experts are expecting another year-over-year decline in earnings due to lower revenues when WWE posts their Q2 2019 financial report on July 25.

Stocks will probably take another hit if key numbers miss expectations while despite reporting lesser revenues, stocks are likely to tick up if these key numbers top Wall Street expectations.

WWE is rumored to be posting a quarterly loss of $0.03 per share and revenues are expected to be $277.2 million, down 1.6% from the year-ago quarter.

For Q1 2019, the company had revenues of $182.4 million as compared to $187.7 million in the prior year quarter and an operating income loss of $6.8 million as compared to income of $21.8 million in the prior year quarter. Investors drove down the stock from $99 to $82 overnight after the report came out.

SPONSORED: How to Play Slots

A few decades ago, slot-machine players were far from the high rollers and they were not truly valued by casinos. Back then the jackpots were modest, payout rates were dismal, and slot players weren’t offered any sort of flattery or complimentary gifts that were given commonly to other players. However, with the upheaval the casino industry has experienced with its boom in recent decades, the backbone of the industry has changed. Over 70% of casino revenue comes from slot machines, and in many establishments, that statistic reaches the 80% mark. Just click to view one brand here that has made their entire casino based on online slots.

Most Popular Casino Game

Approximately 80% of first-time visitors head straight for the slots due to the undeniable fact that has catapulted this game to the top; it’s easy. All you need to do is drop a couple of coins into the slot and pull the lever. Another reason is that new players find the interaction with other players and dealers intimidating. It is easier to sit down at a machine and learn the ropes without fear of judgment or interruption. Lastly, the undeniable aspect that has players flocking to the slots is that these sorts of games tend to have the biggest jackpots in the casino.

How To

Most machines are kitted with currency acceptors, all you need to do is slide a bill into the slot, and the corresponding amount of credits is displayed. When it comes to slots with spinning wheels, you need to push the button that allows you to play a credit over and over until you’ve reached the number you want to play with. After that you press the button that says to spin the reels, or pull the lever on those that still have, it is more likely that you will need to hit a button to play the maximum number of credits inputted by you, this will play the maximum coins that are accepted.

Paylines

When it comes to the video slots, you will need to push a button to activate the number of paylines you want, and then a second button for the number of credits wagered per payline. Video slots commonly have 9paylines on which you can bet 1 to 5 credits. These slots can also have 5, 15, 20, 25, and even 50, allowing up to 25 coins per line. Paylines do not only run straight across, but they also occur in V’s, and zigs zags.

Many machines with spinning reels have one payline that spans across the center of the glass. Then you get others that have 3, even 5, each corresponding to a coin played. Once the symbols slow to a halt, the ones that land on a payline determine whether a player wins.

Video slots typically have bonus rounds and scatter plays. There are designated symbols that trigger a scatter if two or more of them appear, they don’t even have to be on the same payline. There are also certain symbols that trigger bonus events. The bonus may be several free spins or a bonus game.

When you hit a winning combination, the winnings are added to your credits. If you want to cash out, simply hit the button “Cash Out,”. Then with most machines, a ticket is printed out that you can redeem for cash. If you are ever lucky enough to find an older model, the coins still drop into a tray – voila!

Some tips

  • Always look at the pay table (rules) before playing.
  • Compare the payouts when deciding between games to improve your odds.
  • Check whether you are required to place a maximum bet to be eligible for the jackpot.
  • Play free games to discover new favorites.

Unlike other casino games, when playing slots, you can switch off and take it easy while you play. This is your opportunity to wind down. Slot gaming requires minimum effort and it is easy to comprehend. This means that you can easily sit back and relax when playing, all with the chance of hitting it big.

IWGP United States champion Jon Moxley continued his unbeaten run at the G1 Climax 29 tournament, defeating Tomohiro Ishii in the main event of the show which took place from the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

Moxley now leads the B block of the tournament with six points while KENTA and Kazuchika Okada are leading the A Block also with six points. G1 Climax will run through August 12 and the final three events will be held at the Nippon Budokan.

7’3″ WWE PC trainee Jordan Omogbehin debuts at NXT live event

Omogbehin, originally from Lagos, came to the ring managed by Courtenay Moore, the man formerly known as Stokely Hathaway. Omogbehin wrestled Team 3.0 and you can simply take a guess of how that match wrapped up. He was signed to a WWE developmental deal in October of last year.

Omogbehin attended and graduated from the Atlantic Shores Christian Academy in Chesapeake, Virginia, and played basketball for the University of South Florida, Morgan State University in Baltimore, and the Morgan State Bears.

Tully Blanchard back in the game with All Elite Wrestling

A press release, mostly in storyline writing, issued by All Elite Wrestling states that Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard has signed a multi-show agreement with the company to be Shawn Spears’ advisor.

Blanchard, one of the most iconic members of The Four Horsemen, had a long history with Cody’s father Dusty and the company is playing on that history as well.

Tully appeared in the Road to All Out YouTube series interrupting Spears’ interview with Jim Ross and halted the one-on-one. Spears was rumored to be getting a manager and it is now confirmed that Blanchard will be the chosen one.

Spears will face Cody at the All Out pay-per-view on August 31.

Live event from Nashville next week set to air live on the WWE Network

WWE Network will air a live special event on Saturday, July 27 titled Smackville, emanating from the 20,000-seater Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

The show will be headlined by a triple threat match for the WWE title as Kofi Kingston defends the gold against Dolph Ziggler and Samoa Joe. Apart from that match, the Intercontinental title will also be on the line as Shinsuke Nakamura defends against former champion Finn Balor in a rematch from Extreme Rules.

And since this show will be from Music City, we can’t have a WWE event without a special performance from the one and only…Elias!

The show will start at 9PM ET live on the WWE Network.

CM Punk announced for Starrcast III in Chicago during All Out weekend

Get your “CM Punk” chants ready as the former WWE champion has agreed to appear at Starrcast III next month during the All Out weekend in Chicago.

Sports Illustrated was first to report the story today in what is a major coup for Conrad Thompson and his Starrcast event. Punk will be the subject of a one-on-one interview on Saturday, August 31 and will be doing meet and greets.

“He’s straight edge. He’s controversial. He’s a former Heavyweight Champion. He’s “The Best in the World” & he’ll have a live mic at Starrcast! Starrcast is honored to welcome CM Punk to Chicago, Labor Day weekend,” the Twitter account of Starrcast posted after news came out.

So far, Punk’s involvement that weekend is only for Starrcast and AEW is not advertising him to be at All Out.

“Knowing the weekend will be attracting fans from all over the world for AEW, and since I normally only do one signing a year, it’s a great way to maybe meet people that normally I wouldn’t get the chance to otherwise,” Punk told Sports Illustrated. “Looking forward to meeting everyone there.”

Apart from a signing at Pro Wrestling Tees last year during the All In weekend, Punk has largely stayed out of anything remotely associated with professional wrestling ever since he quit WWE several years ago.

Tickets for Platinum and Gold bracelets are available now at starrcast.com.

Cole vs Gargano at NXT Takeover: Toronto gets added stipulations

The NXT Takeover: Toronto main event got a few added stipulations as Gargano and Cole set to recreate – and probably even hoping to eclipse – their match of the year candidate from New York during WrestleMania weekend.

Bettings odds for this match will be highly interesting considering the main event match will wrap up the feud between the two. Wrestling-Online will be providing all the bets for the event and in the meantime you can check out a review of Fanduel to help you identify the best sites for online betting.

The match for the NXT title will now be a two-out-of-three falls match with champion Adam Cole picking one stipulation for one of the falls and challenger Johnny Gargano picking the stipulation for another fall. If the match goes into a third fall, NXT General Manager William Regal will be choosing the last stipulation to break the tie.

While the gimmick match was announced, none of the stipulations were revealed.

This will be the third NXT Takeover main event featuring the two popular stars. At Takeover: New York, Gargano beat Cole two falls to one in another two-out-of-three falls match for the vacant NXT title. The match lasted nearly 40 minutes and made Gargano the first NXT triple crown champion. The title was vacated by Gargano’s former tag team partner Tommaso Ciampa a few weeks earlier.

At Takeover: XXV, Adam Cole became the new NXT champion after he beat Gargano in a 32-minute classic. With this win, Cole became the second NXT triple crown champion by winning all titles available in NXT.

No other matches have been officially announced yet for the show apart from the finals of the NXT Breakout tournament. The NXT Tag Team, Women’s, and North American titles are all set to be defended on the show which is expected to be another hit for the NXT brand.

Takeover will take place at the almost sold-out Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada on the eve of SummerSlam on Saturday, August 10. Apart from SummerSlam, NXT Takeover is the next-best selling show during the weekend with Raw and Smackdown still lagging behind in sales. Around 100 tickets popped up for SummerSlam although these are very, very expensive tickets as Ticketmaster has bumped up the price due to the popularity of the event. The cheapest ticket you can get through the official ticket retailer is $750 CAD and they go up to $3,000 CAD for ringside seats.

Melina to appear on Raw Reunion show

Former WWE Divas and Women’s champion Melina will be returning to WWE after an eight-year absence at next week’s Raw Reunion show.

Melina, in a post on Twitter, said that she’s been gone for eight years and this reunion is the perfect time for her to “come back home.”

The 40-year-old worked for WWE between 2004 and 2011, first with Ohio Valley Wrestling and then moving to the main roster in 2005. She was the valet of the MNM tag team – consisting of Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury. In 2006, she moved to singles competition and won the Women’s title three times and the Divas title twice.

Following her departure from WWE, Melina spent most of her time wrestling on the indie circuit.

Shawn Michaels to provide commentary on Smackdown next week

WWE fans will get a double dose of Shawn Michaels next week on television as not only the two-time WWE Hall of Famer will be part of the Raw Reunion show, he will also do commentary for Smackdown Live the next day.

Michaels announced the news himself in a post on Twitter writing, “I’ve had a lot of …ahem.. fun times on Monday Night #Raw, but I’m not just coming to #RawReunion to see some friends, ol’ HBK is going to be joining commentary THIS Tuesday on #SDLive! #IveBeenPracticing”

Commentary is nothing new to Shawn Michaels as he already has a couple of matches behind the mic under his belt. Most recently, HBK did the commentary for the Triple H vs Batista match at WrestleMania 35 and he also voiced NXT’s Halftime Heat back in February.

Shawn now works at the WWE Performance Center and also helps backstage during NXT shows.

Madison Square Garden Raw and Smackdown tickets now on sale

The single and two-day package tickets for Raw and Smackdown television tapings at Madison Square Garden are now available to purchase on Ticketmaster.com.

Single tickets are being sold from $51 to over $3,000 for official platinum tickets. Floor seats are going for over $300 and they increase to $800 for ringside. Plenty of seats remain for both Raw and Smackdown.

The two-day combo prices range from $142 to $412 for floor seats and those prices include tickets for both events.

While waiting to get your tickets through Ticketmaster.com, you can also check out NY Online Casinos where you can get tips and options to make bets on future WWE pay-per-views and events, such as NXT Takeover: Toronto and SummerSlam.

WWE has avoided doing television tapings at Madison Square Garden for the past decade and since the Barclays Center in Brooklyn opened up, it’s been WWE’s preferred destination, including hosting multiple SummerSlam events year after year.

High rent costs and union issues where WWE has to use MSG personnel for events, are the main reason why WWE has chosen to move away from the world’s most famous arena.

And with WWE not doing much events except for one to two non-televised house shows, the company lost its handshake agreement with The Garden for exclusivity. WWE holds its post-Christmas Day non-televised show at MSG every year and last year WWE held a second live event in July which also featured The Undertaker.

ROH/NJPW presented the sold-out G1 Supercard during the WrestleMania 35 weekend and Lucha Libre AAA will be hosting a show at MSG after WWE’s tapings on September 15. Tons of tickets remain available for the AAA show on Ticketmaster.com in every section of the arena and by the looks of it, half of The Garden will be empty for this show. AAA will also run at The Forum in Inglewood, California apart from the Madison Square Garden show.

The Garden, considered to be “the mecca” of pro wrestling, has been hosting WWE shows for over five decades. Several important events were held there including WrestleMania, WrestleMania 10, and WrestleMania 20, as well several Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series events. The last time WWE held a television taping it was Raw in November 2009 and also did a WWE Network special titled Live from MSG: Lesnar vs. Big Show, which aired on October 2, 2015 with Brock Lesnar defeating Big Show and John Cena defeating Seth Rollins in a steel cage match as the two main events.

Shawn Spears challenges Cody at All Out

It looks like Cody Rhodes got his opponent for the All Out pay-per-view in Chicago next month: the self-proclaimed “Chairman” of All Elite Wrestling, Shawn Spears.

Spears was the subject of a sit-down interview from Jim Ross in the first episode of The Road to All Out series on YouTube.

During the interview, Spears called Cody a “leech” and recounted their history from their tag team days at Ohio Valley Wrestling. Spears said that Cody went through several tag team partners – including the likes of Damien Sandow, Ted DiBiase Jr., and others – and then asked Ross where these people are now.

Spears then challenged Cody at All Out and towards the end of the interview, WWE Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard walks in, tells something to Spears in private, and then tells Jim Ross that “this interview needs to be over.”

There are rumors that Spears will get his own manager and by the looks of it, Blanchard will be the one.

The 14-minute episode of Road to All Out can be seen below.

Braun Strowman signs new four-year deal with WWE

In a post on Instagram, Braun Strowman announced that he signed a new four-year deal with WWE.

“Here’s to 4 more years of being the hardest working and best big man in the whole damn industry and working for the greatest promotion in the world the @wwe,” Strowman wrote.

In the same post, Strowman used a hashtag alluding this is a million dollar deal, writing #ILikeMillionDollarDealsWheresMyPenBiatchImSigning.

The monster among men, now 35 years old, has been working for WWE since 2013 and joined the main roster in 2015 as part of the Wyatt Family. Apart from winning the Raw Tag Team titles with Nicholas at WrestleMania, he did not win any other WWE titles. He did win the 2018 Money In The Bank ladder match, the Greatest Royal Rumble, and the 2019 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal though but none of those wins resulted in a title reign.
