Apollo Crews is back in NXT and the former United States champion became the latest main roster star to return to the brand for a short stint.
Crews, who was part of the black and gold brand between 2014 and 2016, answered Bron Breakker’s challenge for someone to step up. The NXT crowd at the Performance Center were happy to see Crews back and chanted “welcome back.” Crews said that this was the type of energy he missed.
“I wasn’t here on Saturday, but I’m here now, and I’m here for as long as I wanna be,” Crews said. The two eventually shook hands to end the segment.
Crews was also involved in a match, teaming with Solo Sikoa as they fought Carmelo Hayes and Grayson Waller. Crews got the pin and the victory for his team.
The gaming industry has grown by 20% over the past year, and more than half of the market falls on mobile games. Associate this phenomenon mainly with the availability of smartphones. If you want to keep up to date with all the latest news, gaming tournaments, and esports in general, then be sure to visit player-space.com. This is a very informative portal for professional gamers and simple amateurs to play a couple of hours a day.
When you study the game industry, it seems that everything is simple, it earns more and more and grows. And not at the level of simple toys, but whole metaverses, which everyone started talking about after Zuckerberg’s statement about his intentions to build such a universe.
Why are people willing to pay for this?
– 19% of the time people use a smartphone spend in mobile games. For comparison, in social networks – 22%, instant messengers lag behind and take 16% of the time. It turns out that people play more time than they communicate online. Yes, smartphone and internet penetration play a key role, but there are also a few other interesting reasons.
People have always loved entertainment. They capture our attention and at the neuropsychological level evoke emotions. Struggle and excitement increases the release of adrenaline, victory causes an increase in the level of dopamine and endorphins. On the way to school, to work or in line to the doctor, everyone can find themselves in the world of their heroes and feel the taste of victory.
The second reason, we are used to playing since childhood. The opportunity to feel like a child, to explore worlds – this is all that can not be abandoned at the snap of your fingers. In our childhood, there was a snake and Duke Nukem 3D with very poor graphics, but at the same time it still seemed like a miracle to us. Now we can play incredibly bright games with realistic graphics and explore the worlds in very high quality with full immersion in it.
– Why are people willing to pay for this? As experts in the gaming industry, you’ve probably studied behavioral nuances.
– Basically, residents of countries with the highest GDP (USA, Japan, Canada, etc.) spend money on mobile games. The more income, the more people spend on all kinds of entertainment: tourism, books, TV shows, games.
Since most games are free, monetization can happen in different ways, ranging from a subscription to access to the game without ads. The player can buy something inside to develop his character faster. At the same time, as in any products, there is low-quality garbage, and there are works of art. Producers sometimes put incredible effort into colorful scenes and characters.
That is why the mobile market grows even more strongly in crises. This makes it as attractive as possible.
Conclusion
Games have long been more than just shooting games. Of course, I could not ignore the issue of the influence of games. Society, especially parents, has a fear that games are evil and you don’t need to buy them. Here it is logical to assume that the market should not grow from such experiences. However, the numbers say otherwise.
Moreover, the facts turn everything upside down. Gamification to increase sales and education, e-sports, in which children win millions of dollars… I think it is necessary to make friends with the gaming market, at least in order to understand the realities in which we live, as much as possible, in order to make money on it.
Roxanne Perez, formerly known as ROH Women’s champion Rok-C, won the NXT Women’s Breakout tournament last night, defeating Tiffany Stratton in the final match.
The young 20-year-old went through Kiana James in the first round and Lash Legend in the second round to reach the final match while Stratton was a replacement for Nikkita Lyons, who was injured mid-way through the tournament.
With her win, Perez now has a contract to cash in against NXT Women’s champion Mandy Rose.
Following her win, Perez was congratulated by Cora Jade but the party was spoiled by Toxic Attraction. A brawl ensued and the faces were saved by Indi Hartwell who evened the odds.

John Cena traveled to the Netherlands to meet a 19-year old Ukrainian refugee with down syndrome whose mother told him they were fleeing their home to go search for his idol.
The boy, a big wrestling fan whose room was full of John Cena posters, fled the Ukraine in March with his family after their home in Mariupol was destroyed in the war. Their story was part of a Wall Street Journal profile published in late May.
As you can imagine, the boy named Misha, was hugely disappointed when they reached their final destination and John Cena was not there.
Upon hearing about the story, the 16-time world champion made sure to correct that, and with three days off work from somewhere in Europe and just an hour away by plane from the Netherlands, the leader of the Cenation packed some merchandise, including a replica WWE title, and went to meet the family.
“Spending an afternoon building blocks and eating cake. That’s a special afternoon when it comes to the new friends I was able to meet,” Cena said after meeting the family.
Everything was captured on video, from the moment of Cena’s surprise arrival, to his departure. You can see the heart-warming story below.

Wresting is one of the most popular combat sports all over the World. This sports event is usually played by two-opposing individuals and sometimes by a team. The objective of this game is to pin the opponents in lesser violence. Judges award the points for every successful move in pinning down the opponent. Like in every game, the player with the advantage points wins the game.
Several techniques were used to win this game such as:
Grappling Holds
Taking Down
Pins and
Joint Locks
But to participate in this event, every player needs to be physically fit. This game requires a lot of strength, stamina, and hard work as this is a very exhausting game.
Nowadays, most wrestlers take energy drinks, steroids, and pain relievers to last long in every fight. While in some other countries, they use CBD (cannabidiol) or Marijuana, especially in places where CBD is legal.
More and more wrestlers are exploring the magic of CBD. A lot of them proved that it is a good remedy for inflammation, cramps, and depression. The most popular CBD consumption method are vaporizers, vape pens in particular. Vape pens which you can explore here are portable and easy to use and provide fast relief. And the best thing about this whole CBD story is that it is natural, herbal, and has no chemicals that can harm the body.
To know more about how CBD helps our wrestlers, keep on reading this article.
It Helps Manage Stress
CBD helps the wrestlers to neutralize their minds. Every player needs to be stress-free. Not only during the game but of course after the game.
CBD helps them to forget the fear of having a hard fight that causes them to get stressed and anxious. It also helps them to control their emotions so they could not be too much harmful and aggressive.
It also helps them after the game or practice to get peace of mind so that they can rest well and bring back their energies.
It Is A Natural Pain Reliever
As a wrestler, you will feel a lot of pain after a game or even during a rough sparring session. Some are suffering from minor injuries that they are not able to continue.
In these cases, CBD helps the wrestler to manage the pain so that they can continue to work out or fight in a ring. It will relieve the pain and makes them feel stronger.
CBD can help them feel a little numb to handle muscle pains, injuries, and cramps and is also a great remedy for soreness.
Increases Stamina
Another benefit of CBD is it can increase their stamina. Having enough CBD in their bodies makes them more hyperactive and strong.
But remember, taking too much CBD can cause wrestlers to feel dizzy and sleepy.
It Helps With Insomnia
Having Insomnia is a very difficult situation. Lackness of sleep can cause serious health problems that every wrestler can possess.
Good thing, that CBD is now used as a medication for this kind of illness. They are now prescribed by Doctors in some countries for this kind of illness.
Having more dosage of CBD can make them feel tired and unrelated and it may help them to get some sleep. CBD is a non-addictive substance so wrestlers should not be worried about getting too high.
Boosts Performance
CBD makes most of the wrestlers more energetic.
Why? Because having them helps them endure the pain, do not feel exhausted, and be hyperactive that they can give the audience the entertainment that they deserve.
And this is why wrestling has a lot of fans. Because people believe that wrestlers our strong, last long, and are real entertainers. That is why CBD is very important to every wrestler.
Conclusion
Now we discussed the benefits of CBD (cannabidiol) or Marijuana in every wrestler to achieve their goals specifically to entertain people. It can help them endure the pain, increase their stamina, and ease stress.
But, even though CBD has lots of benefits, it is always important to take note of how to use them properly. Taking too much CBD might result in negativity like an addiction that may result in violence.
Also, keep in mind that CBD is still controversial about getting legalized in a certain country so make sure you will use it legally or as prescribed by your Doctors.

Cody Rhodes will be undergoing surgery to repair his torn pec on Thursday, June 9 and will be out of action for a couple of months. The date was first reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling.
Rhodes got injured during a weightlifting exercise but still managed to miraculously work his Hell In A Cell m match against Seth Rollins on Sunday night. Rhodes main evened the premium live event, his first one since coming back at WrestleMania.
Considering Rhodes tore his pec muscle completely off the bone, he is scheduled to be out for a while as a high-grade tear will require close to six months for full strength.
Rhodes said that he’ll have more about his future on Raw tonight although as of this writing WWE hasn’t announced anything yet for the post-HIAC show.
A new season of Miz & Mrs starts tonight on USA Network with the show finding its new home on Monday nights following the conclusion of Raw.
Now in its third season, Miz and Mrs gives an exclusive glimpse into the life of WWE Superstars The Miz and Maryse. This season, the ‘it couple’ is faced with their biggest challenge yet, raising two toddlers. With big career moves on the horizon and a revolving door of family members, the Mizanins must learn how to balance the pressure of their careers with family life.
The season premiere will have two episodes back-to-back starting at 11PM ET and running until Midnight. The synopsis for tonight’s episodes read, “Mike gets invited to Dancing With the Stars, and Maryse deals with the aftermath of ousting Marjo,” and “Mike gets an unexpected dance teacher while Maryse reprimands George’s behaviour.”

In a Q&A session with WWE for TikTok, John Cena was asked who’s his current favorite WWE Superstar.
The 16-time champion responded, “Theory.” And the next question was which WWE Superstar is most in need of an Attitude Adjustment. And once again, Cena responded, “Theory.”
Theory responded to the video, saying, “Stop playing dress up and do something then.”
Now, Cena has used Instagram to maybe hint at something, uploading a photo of Kevin Owens’ boot stomping the United States title as Cena lays in the middle of the ring, a photo from a few years ago when Kevin Owens made his main roster debut, beating Cena.
Cena had already said on Twitter that Theory has more talent than he ever did when he responded to a tweet where Theory said he’s greatest U.S. champion.
With WWE celebrating 20 years of Cena this month, will we see the leader of Cenation return for another match against Theory? There are rumors that Theory is pushing for a match against Cena for SummerSlam and with the show in a stadium, a Cena appearance would certainly boost some much-needed ticket sales.
Cody Rhodes wrestled last night’s Hell In A Cell with a pec muscle completely torn off the bone, sending the crowd into complete silence when he took off his robe showing the nasty huge bruise covering half his chest.
Rhodes suffered the injury during a weightlifting exercise but somehow was still medically cleared to compete. During the nearly 25-minute match, Rhodes tried to avoid using his right arm but was on the receiving end of some painfully-looking shots, including a kendo stick and a steel steps right on the injury.
The American Nightmare won the match, the third one between the two, after using a sledgehammer to send Rollins to sleep. Rhodes used two Cross Rhodes before thinking of going for a third one, only to change his mind and opt for the sledgehammer instead.
An emotional Cody looked relieved after the match as fans inside the Allstate Arena gave him a standing ovation.
Torn pec injuries usually require surgery to fix and a few months off before they completely heal.
After Hell In A Cell went off the air, Cody Rhodes explained his situation for a little bit to the fans inside the Allstate Arena.
“No one convinced me with a torn pec to come out here,” Rhodes said. “It was solely my decision.”
He continued, “You would have to literally kill me from staying away from this ring. Ten times out of ten, I would have made the same decision.”
Cody said said he’ll be on Raw tonight to explain more what happened and what’s next for him.
You can add Bryan Danielson to the injured list as Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling reported yesterday that Danielson had to miss out on a meet and greet held in Massachusetts and was not able to fly due to his injury.
No information was given as to what the injury is but being unable to fly usually relates to head injuries. Danielson has a long history of concussions from his WWE days and has been going at full speed since his arrival in AEW last year.
The belief is that Danielson was injured in the Anarchy In The Arena match at Double or Nothing in Las Vegas and he was not part of the Dynamite in Inglewood.
Danielson is expected to miss a couple of weeks of in-ring action until he’s medically cleared to compete again.
With the Blackpool Combat Club on pause until his return, his tag team partner Jon Moxley will be wrestling for a spot at Forbidden Door where a new AEW interim World champion will be crowned.
