John Cena and Theory…are the hints leading to a match?

In a Q&A session with WWE for TikTok, John Cena was asked who’s his current favorite WWE Superstar.

The 16-time champion responded, “Theory.” And the next question was which WWE Superstar is most in need of an Attitude Adjustment. And once again, Cena responded, “Theory.”

Theory responded to the video, saying, “Stop playing dress up and do something then.”

Now, Cena has used Instagram to maybe hint at something, uploading a photo of Kevin Owens’ boot stomping the United States title as Cena lays in the middle of the ring, a photo from a few years ago when Kevin Owens made his main roster debut, beating Cena.

Cena had already said on Twitter that Theory has more talent than he ever did when he responded to a tweet where Theory said he’s greatest U.S. champion.

With WWE celebrating 20 years of Cena this month, will we see the leader of Cenation return for another match against Theory? There are rumors that Theory is pushing for a match against Cena for SummerSlam and with the show in a stadium, a Cena appearance would certainly boost some much-needed ticket sales.
