Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal returns to Smackdown on the eve of WrestleMania

The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal will be returning this year but it won’t be at WrestleMania, but rather on Smackdown the night before.

The battle royal has been part of the Smackdown prior to Mania for the past few years now, with the match being relegated from the main show for WrestleMania 35, 37, and 38. WWE didn’t do the match for WrestleMania 36 due to the pandemic.

At WrestleMania 31, 33 and 34, the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal was part of the Kickoff show and only at WrestleMania XXX and 32 it took place on the actual PPV.

28 participants have been confirmed for this match including Angel Garza, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, Bronson Reed, Butch, Cedric Alexander, Cruz Del Toro, Dexter Lumis, Dolph Ziggler, Elias, Humberto Carrillo, Joaquin Wilde, Johnny Gargano, Karl Anderson, Karrion Kross, LA Knight, Luke Gallows, Mace, Madcap Moss, Mansoor, Mustafa Ali, Rick Boogs, Ridge Holland, Santos Escobar, Shelton Benjamin, Top Dolla, and Xavier Woods.
