Rousey vs Flair for Smackdown Women’s title official for WrestleMania 38

The second match for WrestleMania 38 was made official last night on Smackdown as Ronda Rousey chose Charlotte Flair as her opponent, cashing in her Royal Rumble win.

After teasing Becky vs Ronda and Charlotte vs Sasha, Ronda came down to the ring to confront both Flair and Sonya Deville. Ronda told Charlotte she didn’t travel half-way across the country in a snow storm with a baby to have a chat and was here to teach her daughter the business of kicking ass.

“You are not special. You are just first,” Ronda told Flair. “I see you at WrestleMania, bitch!”

Flair was not impressed and reminded Rousey that her title is her baby and her baby is prettier than hers. Obviously, Ronda didn’t appreciate that comment and was ready to brawl. But Deville interfered and told Ronda she’s the boss around here and she will do what she says. After Ronda pushed Deville out, Flair tried to attack but Ronda ducked and avoided her…only for Deville to jump on her back and attack her. Ronda quickly threw down Deville and locked her in the armbar.

Tony Khan says free agent to debut on Dynamite and sign AEW deal

AEW President Tony Khan is promoting another big announcement for this Wednesday’s Dynamite after his big announcement on Rampage yesterday was only to tell fans to tune in on Wednesday for the big reveal.

Khan tweeted that a free agent debut will walk through the “forbidden door,” sign the AEW contract, and “slam the door shut” on Wednesday night. The mystery person will face Isiah Kassidy in a Face of the Revolution qualifying match.

The “forbidden door” is usually referenced to those who are under contract with other promotions who appear on AEW television but it looks like Khan is now referencing free agents coming in as “forbidden door” as well.

Several former WWE Superstars who were released this past November, like Keith Lee, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, and many others, are now free to join anyone as their 90-day no-compete clause is over.

Goldberg appears on Smackdown, challenges Reigns at Elimination Chamber

WWE Hall Of Famer Bill Goldberg made a surprise appearance on Friday Night Smackdown last night and asked for another title shot.

Roman Reigns opened the show along with Paul Heyman and The Usos as Heyman explained the whole backstory of the change of heart and going back to The Bloodline at the Royal Rumble. But as Heyman told the Oklahoma City crowd to acknowledge their Tribal Chief, a familiar music hit the speakers to a big ovation from the crowd.

“Holy hell,” screamed Pat McAfee from the announce booth as Goldberg marched down to the ring.

“I acknowledge you,” Goldberg said as Reigns smirked. “As my next victim!” That smirk turned into a serious face before Goldberg laid down the challenge.

“You, me, at Elimination Chamber for the Universal championship. You’re next,” continued Goldberg.

This is Goldberg’s last match under his current WWE deal after wrestling three times last year. Goldberg vs Roman Reigns was supposed to happen at WrestleMania 36 but the match was changed a week before after Reigns decided to go home due to the coronavirus pandemic. Braun Strowman eventually took his place and won the Universal title from Goldberg.

Ronda Rousey to make Mania title match decision tonight on Smackdown

Ronda Rousey will be making her decision on which title she’s going after at WrestleMania live tonight on Smackdown on FOX.

Rousey appeared on Raw last Monday and took down Raw Women’s champion Becky Lynch in the show-closing segment, Ronda teased to tear Becky’s arm off but told her that she’ll make her decision tonight.

At the Rumble, Ronda eliminated Charlotte Flair last to win the match and plans were that Rousey would take on Flair for the Smackdown Women’s title on night one of WrestleMania. The two already wrestled one-on-one at the Survivor Series in 2018 and the match ended with a DQ win for Rousey.

Lesnar already said he’ll be going after the Universal title at Mania and Rousey is expecting to be part of the Smackdown roster moving forward, giving FOX two of WWE’s biggest stars.

Melina reflects on memorable Rumble night in emotional social media post

She might have been in the Royal Rumble for under a minute but Melina did get her full entrance and a memory that she says will cherish forever.

In a post on Instagram, Melina thanked all the women in the back and the fans for allowing her to have that moment at the start of the Rumble, coming in at #2 and share the ring, albeit shortly, with Sasha Banks.

“In wrestling there may be moments where a storyline is taken away, you’re taken out of a segment, times are cut, your match gets scrapped and/or you get treated like you you don’t matter enough to be used,” Melina wrote. “But at that Rumble, the crowd reaction, the love I felt and all the kind words that were said, THAT was pure & real.”

She said that even if everyone erases her from history or take her time from the ring, that moment at the Royal Rumble will be “something that no one could ever take away and it will stay in my heart for all eternity.”

Melina also thanked Sasha Banks for giving her a magic moment and couldn’t imagine a more perfect opponent to start the Rumble and make her WWE in-ring return with.

“Ughhhh! What could have been,” she concluded.

Goldberg set for another Saudi match at Elimination Chamber

It looks like Goldberg’s last match under his WWE deal will be coming later this month as he is scheduled to be part of the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling reported that the current working plan sees Goldberg challenging for the Universal title against Roman Reigns, a match which was supposed to happen at WrestleMania two years ago.

That match was switched in the last week after Reigns went home due to the coronavirus pandemic and didn’t resurface until nearly five months later at SummerSlam. Instead, Braun Strowman took on Goldberg at WrestleMania, winning the Universal title himself.

Goldberg recently revealed that he only has one more match under this current deal after last year he wrestled three times – at the Royal Rumble against Drew McIntyre and against Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam and at Crown Jewel.

The former champion has worked three Saudi events so far, against The Undertaker, The Fiend, and Lashley.

Santino Marella’s daughter Bianca signs with WWE

Santino Marella’s daughter, Bianca Carelli, has signed with WWE and will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center in two weeks.

The news was given by Marella himself who appeared on the Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw podcast this week.

Bianca was part of a previous tryout and has lately worked for the CCW women’s promotion. She was also part of the NWA EmPowerrr Women’s Invitational Cup last August.

The 26-year-old is also a former beauty queen and her father described her as a “beast,” predicting she’ll be “an absolute top-tier player.”

“I can’t wait to go to WrestleMania, just as a parent to watch their kid,” Santino said.

WWE looking to sell Network region by region to the service that makes most sense

WWE Network

WWE President Nick Khan said that the company is looking region by region to sell the WWE Network to the partner that makes most sense in that particular territory rather than sell the WWE Network to one major streaming service worldwide.

Answering question about monetizing the Network in more countries, Khan said we should be on the lookout for more countries to be announced “in the not-too-distant future” and the reason why they went with Disney in Indonesia is because the service is particularly strong there.

“Now you have really the U.S.-based companies expanding all at the same time, give or take. So we wanted to wait for that, and I think we’re going to be in good shape in a couple of months,” Khan revealed.

WWE announced last week its first deal with Disney+ similar to what Peacock has in the United States.

What is a Casino and how does it work?: A guide on creating your own game

What is a casino, how does it work and how to create your own game? We all know that there are many casinos in the world, but how do they really work? There are different kinds of games punters can play online at casinos with 200 free spins casino bonuses. The most popular ones are slot machines, roulette or blackjack. But how to create one yourself? Let’s find out more about this topic!

What is a Casino and How Does It Work?

A casino is a place where people go to have some fun and play games. The most popular kinds of gambling are slot machines, roulette or blackjack. In order to create your own game, you should follow these steps:

  • Find the right software for it (for example, from this link).
  • Set up how much money will be available in total on all tables / how much every participant can receive at the start etc.
  • Define how many rounds there will be and how players get their winnings, e.g., by collecting specific cards / having certain number combinations etc.)

This guide will help you make sure that everyone has a fair chance without ruining the entertainment factor! Good luck with creating your new online casino game!

The first thing we need to explain is how do casinos work. Casino games are based on random numbers generated by RNG (random number generator). The casino itself has nothing to do with these values; they just use them for their own benefit. The games are all based on how much money the player bets and how many numbers he matches.

When It Comes to Offline Gambling

An offline casino is a place with many tables and slot machines where you can play games like roulette, blackjack or poker.

First of all, every participant needs to register (usually they ask for an ID card) and make some deposits in order to start playing. They also need to choose how much money they wish to bet per round/hand etc. If someone wins – he gets the prize right away, but if not, then he just continues his journey by trying again and again until finally reaching that moment! It’s necessary to say that there are two kinds of casinos:

  • classic ones which have been here from the very beginning when gambling was legalised;
  • online versions, which appeared as the internet became available.

The History of Casinos

The first casino was opened in France by a man named François Blanc. He’s the inventor of the famous Monte Carlo Casino, but how did it happen? It all started when Napoleon III organised an international convention and invited many guests from around Europe to Monaco – neither he nor his wife had any idea how much money they spent on this event! That’s why he asked Mr Blanc for help as he had already run some casinos before that time. As a result, the first one appeared in Bad Homburg under “Casino Zu den Drei Husaren”.

Nowadays, there are thousands of online casinos out there where you can play different kinds of games every day, 24/7.

The Different Types of Games in Casinos

As we already mentioned – the most famous ones are slot machines, roulette or blackjack. They all have their own rules on how to play and what you can win at the end.

A slot machine (or fruit machine) is a very simple kind of casino game where gamblers need to match three identical symbols in order to get some money for it! The same applies for online versions as well, but there’s one big difference: punters don’t see how many coins they receive after each round/hand etc. This way, casinos make sure that winners enjoy even more if they manage to keep this information secret from other players!

Roulette is probably the most popular table game out there because people just adore watching how the ball rolls around the wheel. Unfortunately, it’s not so easy how it looks; punters need to predict which number will be in line with where they put their bets after all! We can say that roulette is a game of chance, but there are also certain strategies how to use if someone wants just win money without investing too much time into this activity.

Blackjack is known as 21 because players need to get cards adding up to exactly twenty-one points. If they go over, then they lose everything and the casino win automatically – take card(s) until you reach the right amount or bust! There are many different kinds of blackjacks available at casinos worldwide depending on how many decks are used etc.

And lastly, let’s not forget how amazing poker games are! They’re the most popular ones among punters because they require lots of intelligence, intuition and luck at the same time.

How to Create Your Own Casino Game?

  1. First, you need to understand how it works. You can either read articles on this topic or watch some videos on how it looks in action.
  2. Then you have to choose which kind of game will be interesting for players who visit casinos – slots are usually very simple but also boring after a while. This rule also works for a video game. On the other hand, maybe you want to create a unique version of blackjack, which nobody has ever played before?
  3. Think how much money your players will win after each round/hand etc. and how frequently they can get it!
  4. Keep in mind that not all games are suitable for every casino, so be prepared to deal with this issue as well.

There’s one more thing we have to mention: making a game takes time, so don’t expect too much from the beginning because everything starts slowly but then builds up pretty fast! At first, most casinos won’t even consider having another kind of game on their websites because there are thousands of others just like yours – still, if punters enjoy what you created, then odds are.

When creating something new, never forget about graphics because people play more often if they see bright colours, animations, etc. Also, try adding unique characters so that everyone becomes interested immediately.

The Risks of Making Your Own Game

Of course, there are some risks connected with this process as well. First of all, you need to invest money into the game (servers etc.) and how quickly it takes off depends on how many players like your idea – if not enough people start playing, then nobody wins at the end.

That’s why finally, we can say that creating something new is always worth trying, but punters should be cautious when doing so because they have to consider a lot of things before launching even one single round! That being said, casinos that accept custom-made games usually offer exciting opportunities that everyone will benefit from them in the future.

WWE expecting another year of record revenue in 2022

WWE logo

WWE is expecting another year of record revenue in 2022 after yesterday they revealed that the company had, for the first time ever, revenues of over $1 billion in a calendar year.

Frank Riddick, WWE’s Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, said that the record revenue will be driven by the full year impact of ticketed live events, staging of additional large-scale international events, escalation of rights fees for the company’s flagship programs and monetization of new original series.

It was revealed during the conference call that WWE has several new original series in the pipeline that have not been announced yet. WWE is also serving as executive producers of Rowdy’s Places, a six-episode series airing now on ESPN+. Rowdy’s Places is the combat sports-centric expansion of the Peyton Places franchise. Episode two of the show is an interview with Kurt Angle.

Regarding international live events, Nick Khan dropped a hint that there will be more than two large scale events in 2022 and we’ll find out soon about them. WWE currently holds two stadium shows in Saudi Arabia every year – in February and October – and there are rumors that another big show in the United Kingdom will be held this year. WWE also did a big stadium show in Australia a couple of years ago.

WWE premium live events audience jumps big on Peacock

During the conference call with investors yesterday, WWE President Nick Khan provided some interesting numbers on viewing figures from Peacock compared to the pre-pandemic 2019 numbers when WWE Network was a standalone service in the United States.

The numbers are compared to 2019 because that was the last time they had fans back in arenas and obviously 2020 and 2021 had none of that.

Money in the Bank, which was the first event back with fans, had a 25% higher viewership on Peacock. SummerSlam had a 30% jump, Extreme Rules had a 20% increase, the Saudi Show picked up a whopping 75% jump, and Survivor Series was almost 25% higher than 2019.

This year’s Royal Rumble also had a big increase and was up nearly 45% compared to the 2020 Royal Rumble which was the last WWE pay-per-view in the United States before the pandemic.

Data provided by Peacock to WWE shows that over 3.5 million fully paid Peacock subscribers watched WWE content since they moved over in March 2021. The WWE Network standalone service had a total of 1.1 million subscribers in the United States before the move to Peacock was executed.

Talking about the idea to move to Peacock, Khan said that WWE expanded its audience and viewership, led by a strong in-ring product and the right partner and platform which has created wins for all parties.

“Our deal with Peacock also marked a strategic pivot for our company to fully focus on our wholly owned intellectual property and a completely unique content that Vince and WWE have created for the past 35-plus years,” Khan said.

WWE announces Q4 2021 and full year financial results

WWE today announced financial results for its fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2021.

“In 2021, we reached a significant milestone of over $1 billion in revenue, for the first time in the Company’s history. We ended the year with strong performance across each of our business lines that reflected the engagement of a wider audience with distribution on new digital platforms, including Peacock, and the return of fans at our live events,” said Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman & CEO. “We expect the execution of key initiatives in the coming year, such as the licensing of network content in international markets, monetization of new original series, and the continued shift to a stadium strategy for WWE’s premium live events, will further expand the reach of our brands and enhance the value of our content.”

Frank Riddick, WWE Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, added “For the year, we achieved record revenue and Adjusted OIBDA, which exceeded the high end of our guidance. Adjusted OIBDA increased 14% reflecting higher revenue and profit from the distribution of network programming on Peacock, the contractual escalation of rights fees for our flagship shows, Raw and SmackDown, and the return of ticketed audiences to our live events. In 2022, we anticipate Adjusted OIBDA of $360 million to $375 million, reflecting the full year performance of our ticketed live events as well as the increased production and monetization of content.”

Revenue increased 30% to $310.3 million, primarily due to the impact of a large-scale international event as well as higher ticket and venue merchandise sales resulting from the return to ticketed live events, which began in July 2021.

Operating Income increased 131%, or $47.4 million, to $83.6 million, driven by the impact of the Company’s large-scale international event, and, to a lesser extent, the return to other ticketed live events, which was partially offset by an increase in management incentive compensation costs associated with the Company’s improved operating performance. The Company’s Operating income margin increased to 27% from 15%.

Adjusted OIBDA (which excludes stock compensation) increased 90%, or $46.0 million, to $97.2 million. The Company’s Adjusted OIBDA margin increased to 31% from 21%.

Net Income was $63.9 million, or $0.76 per diluted share, an increase from $13.6 million, or $0.16 per diluted share, primarily reflecting higher operating performance. The results for the fourth quarter of 2021 also reflected an after-tax gain of $5.2 million from the reduction of leased space as part of an amendment to the Company’s new Stamford headquarters lease. The results for the fourth quarter of 2020 reflected an after-tax loss of $5.8 million related to certain equity investments and $1.0 million in after-tax severance expense resulting from a reduction in force due to COVID-19. Excluding these items, Adjusted Net Income was $58.7 million, or $0.70 per diluted share, as compared to $20.4 million, or $0.24 per diluted share.

Cash flows generated by operating activities were $42.3 million, a decrease from $62.4 million, as higher net income was more than offset by a decrease in non-cash adjustments, as well as the timing of collections associated with large-scale international events.
Free Cash Flow was $27.5 million, a decrease from $56.2 million, primarily due to the change in operating cash flow and, to a lesser extent, an increase in capital.

The Company returned $59.0 million to shareholders in the fourth quarter of 2021, including $50.0 million in share repurchases and $9.0 million in dividends paid. Under the Company’s existing stock repurchase program, approximately 1.0 million shares were repurchased at an average price of $50.73 per share.

Paige VanZant returns on Dynamite to take down Brandi Rhodes

MMA star Paige VanZant returned on Dynamite last night and took on Brandi Rhodes in a segment which saw fans chanting “Shut the f*ck up” to the AEW Chief Brand Officer.

Rhodes, who didn’t help things by saying Cleveland instead of Chicago to get some more heat, was quickly shut by Dan Lambert who for the first time, was the face in the ring.

“I almost feel like a decent human being standing next to you,” Lambert told Rhodes. Lambert had some additional nasty things to tell Rhodes which won over the crowd and when Brandi started to respond, the hostile Chicago crowd told her exactly what they wanted her to do.

But after trading insults, Rhodes slapped Lambert, prompting him to introduce the former UFC star and she took down Rhodes in the ring. But before the action could continue, the whole AEW women’s locker room emptied to separate the two.

Judging from yesterday, it certainly looks like Rhodes is heading into a match with VanZant.

CM Punk suffers first loss in AEW at the hands of MJF

CM Punk suffered his first singles loss since January 2014 last night on Dynamite as MJF got the upper hand on Punk in the main event of Dynamite live from Chicago.

In a match that lasted almost 40 minutes, MJF beat Punk twice actually, the first time by choking him out and then by pinning him. The first decision was reversed and the match was allowed to continue after the referee noticed that MJF cheated by choking Punk out with a hidden tape.

But he got the win in the second part of the match after Wardlow handed MJF his Dynamite diamond ring while everyone was distracted and then MJF hit Punk in the head for the cover. This time, the referee didn’t notice and MJF was declared the winner.

Since this was not a clean win, it opens the possibility of a rematch between the two at the upcoming AEW pay-per-view next month.

The last time CM Punk lost in a singles match was on the January 6, 2014 episode of Monday Night Raw, with Roman Reigns pinning him on the Old School Raw themed episode.
