Goldberg set for another Saudi match at Elimination Chamber

It looks like Goldberg’s last match under his WWE deal will be coming later this month as he is scheduled to be part of the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling reported that the current working plan sees Goldberg challenging for the Universal title against Roman Reigns, a match which was supposed to happen at WrestleMania two years ago.

That match was switched in the last week after Reigns went home due to the coronavirus pandemic and didn’t resurface until nearly five months later at SummerSlam. Instead, Braun Strowman took on Goldberg at WrestleMania, winning the Universal title himself.

Goldberg recently revealed that he only has one more match under this current deal after last year he wrestled three times – at the Royal Rumble against Drew McIntyre and against Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam and at Crown Jewel.

The former champion has worked three Saudi events so far, against The Undertaker, The Fiend, and Lashley.
