Here are the results from last night’s Revolution 2022 pay-per-view which took place from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida:
Leyla Hirsch defeated Kris Statlander in the Buy-In show; Hook defeated QT Marshall in the Buy-In show; House of Black defeated Death Triangle in the Buy-In show; Eddie Kingston defeated Chris Jericho; Jurassic Express defeated reDRagon and The Young Bucks in a three-way tag team match to retain the AEW Tag Team titles; Wardlow defeated Keith Lee, Orange Cassidy, Powerhouse Hobbs, Ricky Starks, and Christian Cage in the Face of the Revolution ladder match to win a future AEW TNT title match; Jade Cargill defeated Tay Conti to retain the AEW TBS title; CM Punk defeated MJF in a dog collar match; Britt Baker defeated Thunder Rosa to retain the AEW Women’s title; Jon Moxley defeated Bryan Danielson; Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara and Sting defeated AHFO in a six-man tornado tag team match; Adam Page defeated Adam Cole to retain the AEW World title.
It’s Sunday and you know what that means…AEW is back for their first pay-per-view of the year, Revolution from the sold out Addition Financial Arena in Orlando.
It’s a stacked card with 12 matches in total, three of which will be in the Buy-In show. We will take a look at the betting odds for the full card below and remember, odds are likely to change by the time the show starts. In the meantime, while waiting for the show, you can also try your hand at online slots.
In the main event of the night, Adam “Hangman” Page is the favorite to retain the AEW World title with odds of 1/10 while the former NXT champion Adam Cole is 5/1 to get his first gold in AEW.
The jury is still out in the Britt Baker vs Thunder Rosa match for the AEW Women’s title as both are currently at 17/20, suggesting that this could go either way.
CM Punk takes on MJF in match two of their feud, this time in a dog collar match. MJF holds two victories in one match against Punk but this time around, Chicago’s favorite wrestling son is favorite at 2/7 while MJF is 9/4.
In one of the most awaited matches of the night, Bryan Danielson takes on Jon Moxley and Danielson has the edge in the odds with 4/5 while Mox is close at 9/10. Eddie Kingston is favorite with odds of 1/4 in his fight against Chris Jericho while the former AEW World champ is 5/2.
A six-man tornado tag team match will pit the AHFO taking on the team of Sting, Sammy Guevara, and Darby Allin. The faces are favorites with odds of 11/50 while AHFO are 14/5 to win.
Six AEW stars will face each other in a ladder match where the winner will receive a TNT title shot in the future. Wardlow is currently the favorite to win this match with 4/5 odds while newcomer Keith Lee is 13/10 behind him. Ricky Starks has odds of 7/1, Christian Cage is 10/1, Orange Cassidy is 12/1, and Powerhouse Hobbs is an outsider with odds of 20/1.
Jade Cargill will defend her TBS Women’s title against Tay Conti and Cargill has those usual Lesnar and Ronda type of odds with 1/40 favorite while Conti is 8/1 for the major upset.
The AEW Tag Team titles will be on the line in a three-way and current champions Jurassic Express remain favorite with odds of 3/1. reDRagon have odds of 11/4 while The Young Bucks are at 17/4.
In the Buy-In matches, House of Black are 2/5 favorites against Death Triangle who are 7/4, Kris Statlander is 4/5 favorite against Leyla Hirsch who is at 9/10, and Hook also got the monster odds with 1/40 favorite against QT Marshall at 8/1.
Both Shane “Swerve” Strickland and Jeff Hardy are expected to be on AEW television this week.
Strickland, who worked for WWE under the name Isiah “Swerve” Scott, has signed an AEW deal already and is ready to go with some suggesting tonight’s Revolution could be his debut. AEW loves debuts on pay-per-views and the former NXT North American champion will no doubt be a great addition to the AEW roster.
Meanwhile, former WWE champion Jeff Hardy will be free from his 90-day no-compete clause on Wednesday, March 9, which also happens to be the post-Revolution Dynamite. Hardy, who has publicly said he’s on the way to AEW after he’s free from all WWE legal obligations, cannot sign any deals or legally negotiate until Wednesday.
Strickland and Hardy would be the latest WWE releases to join All Elite Wrestling, joining the likes of Keith Lee, Malakai Black, Andrade El Idolo, FTR, Miro, Mercedes Martinez, Ruby Soho, and others.
Live tonight from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida, AEW presents Revolution on pay-per-view, Bleacher Report, and FITE TV. The full card is as follows:
Adam Page vs Adam Cole for the AEW World title; Britt Baker vs Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s title; Jurassic Express vs reDRagon vs The Young Bucks in a three-way tag team match for the AEW World Tag Team titles; Jade Cargill vs Tay Conti for the AEW TBS title; CM Punk vs MJF in a dog collar match; Keith Lee vs Orange Cassidy vs Powerhouse Hobbs vs Ricky Starks vs Wardlow vs Christian Cage in the Face of the Revolution ladder match for a future AEW TNT title match; Jon Moxley vs Bryan Danielson; Chris Jericho vs Eddie Kingston; Andrade El Idolo, Matt Hardy, and Isiah Kassidy vs Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and Sting in a six-man tornado tag team match; Hook vs QT Marshall in the Buy-In show; Leyla Hirsch vs Kris Statlander in the Buy-In show; House of Black vs Death Triangle in a six-man tag team match in the Buy-In show.
Over the past few days, there have been several conflicting reports on the status of Cody Rhodes, who still has yet to appear on television ever since he left All Elite Wrestling.
A report by Ringside News initially said that sources within WWE said that Rhodes was still part of the WrestleMania 38 line up in “internal documents” but Bodyslam.net later reported that discussions between Rhodes and WWE have “fizzled out.”
Dave Meltzer of the Observer yesterday also added that there was a “definite change” in the status of Cody to WWE, later clarifying that creative writers were told he went from a “certainty” to “unsure.”
It has been 20 days since Cody and AEW parted ways with the former three-time TNT champion receiving a better offer from the Stamford-based company. But the situation remains fluid at this point and there’s no confirmation whatsoever that Rhodes put pen to paper anywhere.
Meanwhile, Chris Jericho told Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated that Cody leaving was surprising at first, but then again, this is professional wrestling and things like this happen all the time.
“The only reason why this was such a big one is because it’s the first AEW guy who left, and obviously Cody had a huge part in this company,” Jericho explained.
Jericho added that Cody was not happy in AEW but thinks that somewhere down the line, Cody might rethink what he did and probably should have stuck around.
“The more of those guys we bring in, the less spotlight is necessary to be shown on Cody Rhodes. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why he left,” Jericho continued. “I really don’t know. No one knows except for Tony Khan and Cody Rhodes. But he wasn’t happy in AEW, so he’s going to WWE, or be a stay-at-home dad, or do TV shows or whatever it is he’ll do.”
Brock Lesnar’s opponent at Madison Square Garden last night ended up being Austin Theory, and Paul Heyman’s master plan of getting the WWE title off the Beast Incarnate did not work.
But there was a surprise waiting for Lesnar after the match as right after the win, Roman Reigns and The Usos attacked Lesnar. Reigns hit Lesnar with a barrage of chair shots to the back and then hit him with the steel steps, opening him up.
The Universal champion then made a statement by hitting a version of the Rock Bottom on the steel steps, leaving Lesnar motionless. Reigns then stood on top of Lesnar with both the WWE and Universal titles raised above his shoulders.
“Brock Lesnar…acknowledge me,” Reigns screamed as Heyman slammed the mic on the floor.
There were no surprises during the Madison Square Garden show even though the WWE cameras were there to capture the whole night.
Josh Alexander returned during the closing moments of Sacrifice last night, attacking the Impact World champion.
Alexander, whose contract with Impact expired several weeks ago and had to go back home as his U.S. visa expired too, then cut a promo and told everyone that he signed a new multi-year deal with the promotion and signed another contract for the a match against Moose at Rebellion for the Impact World title.
Alexander was originally going to be part of the Team Impact vs Team Honor No More match but was “sent home” by EVP Scott D’Amore. In reality, his contract was not renewed in time and he had to go back to Canada since his work visa expired too.
The 34-year-old won the Impact World title from Christian Cage at Bound For Glory last year but while celebrating in the ring with his family, Moose cashed in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy and lost it minutes later.
Here are the results from the Sacrifice Impact Plus event which took place from the Paristown Hall in Louisville, Kentucky:
Lady Frost defeated Gisele Shaw in the pre-show; Rich Swann and Willie Mack defeated Mike Bennett and Matt Taven in the pre-show; Trey Miguel defeated Jake Something to retain the Impact X Division title; Eddie Edwards defeated Rhino; The Influence defeated The IInspiration to become the new Impact Knockouts Tag Team champions; Jonah defeated PCO; Jay White defeated Alex Shelley; Deonna Purrazzo defeated Chelsea Green to retain the ROH Women’s title; Tasha Steelz defeated Mickie James to become the new Impact Knockouts champion; Violent By Design defeated The Good Brothers to become the new Impact Tag Team champions; Moose defeated Heath to retain the Impact World title.
AEW’s Double or Nothing became the first AEW pay-per-view show to cross over the million dollars in gate money within 24 hours.
The big demand for the show was highly expected before tickets went on sale and it was AEW President Tony Khan who delivered the news in a tweet. “Tonight we’re celebrating a milestone because today #DoubleOrNothing 1st day sales just gave us our 1st EVER $1 Million gate,” Khan wrote.
The pre-sale kicked off on Thursday but tickets went on sale to the general public on Friday. The show is not sold out yet as the T-Mobile Arena is quite large but that was the reason that they did not limit themselves to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
When all is said and done, Double or Nothing will be the highest-grossing AEW show in its short history so far.
Live tonight from the Paristown Hall in Louisville, Kentucky, Impact Wrestling presents Sacrifice, exclusively on Impact Plus. The full card is as follows:
Moose vs Heath for the Impact World title; Mickie James vs Tasha Steelz for the Impact Knockouts title; The Good Brothers vs Violent By Design for the Impact World Tag Team titles; The IInspiration vs The Influence for the Impact Knockouts Tag Team titles; Trey Miguel vs Jake Something for the Impact X Division title; Alex Shelley vs Jay White; Jonah vs PCO; Rhino vs Eddie Edwards; Deonna Purrazzo vs mystery opponent for the either the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship or the ROH Women’s World title; Rich Swann and Willie Mack vs Honor No More in the pre-show; and Lady Frost vs Gisele Shaw in the pre-show.
The road to WrestleMania makes a stop at the world’s most famous arena tonight as Madison Square Garden will host an unusual super-hyped-on-TV non-televised live event.
Several title matches will take place, including for the WWE Championship and the Universal titles. The biggest mystery remains who will be facing Brock Lesnar tonight as his original opponent, Bobby Lashley, is out and Paul Heyman has promised that Lesnar will not walk out of MSG with the title.
This is a dual-brand live event so all the top stars will be in action including Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair vs Rhea Ripley for the RAW Women’s title, Finn Balor vs Damian Priest for the United States title, Ronda Rousey and Naomi vs Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville, The Usos vs The New Day for the Smackdown Tag Team titles, RKBro vs Alpha Academy for the Raw Tag Team titles, and more.
Madison Square Garden is far from sold out but more tickets have been moved over the past week or so. Tickets are still available at Ticketmaster.com.
It’s another pay-per-view weekend with AEW taking center stage this time with a stacked Revolution card live from Orlando, Florida.
Today we will take a look at the betting odds of the top three matches on the card and then tomorrow, hours before the pay-per-view, we will update you with all the betting odds for the full card.
In the main event, Adam Page will defend his AEW World title against Adam Cole (BAY-BAY!) The reigning champion is the overwhelming favorite for this one, with his odds at 1/10 while Cole is 5/1 for the upset.
Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa will battle for the AEW Women’s title in a highly-anticipated rematch. The two main evented Dynamite last year in a lights out match and they’re looking to raise expectations again in this title match. Thunder Rosa is currently the favorite to land her first title in AEW with her odds of 7/20 while D.M.D. is the underdog at 19/10.
CM Punk and MJF will fight in a dog collar match and judging from the stuff we saw this week on Dynamite, this is going to get ugly…and bloody! Punk, who lost twice to MJF in Chicago, is the favorite this time around with his odds at 2/7 while MJF, or the devil himself, is 9/4.
Stay tuned on wrestling.bet for the full betting odds tomorrow!
The competitors of the Face of the Revolution ladder match for tomorrow’s Revolution pay-per-view were finalized last night on the live Rampage from Orlando.
Six AEW wrestlers will be part of this match with the winner getting a future TNT title shot against whoever the champion may be.
The six stars who through qualifying matches got a ticket for tomorrow’s show are Keith Lee, Powerhouse Hobbs, Orange Cassidy, Wardlow, Ricky Starks, and Christian Cage.
Cage had not wrestled in a few months and was back in action yesterday beating Ethan Page to advance.
PWInsider.com is reporting that Michael Elgin has sued Impact Wrestling, with the lawsuit filed on February 8 in the Circuit Court of Davidson County, Tennessee.
The former Impact Wrestling star is looking for over $5 million in compensation for breach of contract after Impact removed him from programming after allegations against him surfaced in June 2020 as part of the #SpeakingOut movement.
Elgin was accused of sending nude photos of himself under a fake name and other sexual abuse allegations. Impact suspended Elgin pending further investigations and fired Joey Ryan and Dave Crist, who were also accused of different acts.
A few days after he was suspended, Impact issued a statement saying that Elgin would no longer be featured on their television programming.
In the lawsuit, Elgin claims that Impact EVP Scott D’Amore told him that there was no investigation into any allegations and their decision not to use him was not based on anything beyond public disclosures.
Elgin also says that the company prevented him from working for Pro Wrestling NOAH in December 2020.

It’s Saturday morning, and you know what that means… it’s time for our Rampage Review!
A rare live show following a meh Dynamite as we ‘go home’ to Revolution, which looks a hell of a show on paper.
Plus, if you read ‘til the end, there’s a huuuuge announcement. One that will change writing as we know it. This will be enormous, gigantic, ginormous, seriously, honestly.
ANDRADE VS DARBY ALLIN VS SAMMY GUEVARA, TNT TITLE
Story going in: Darby & Andrade each had a shot but lost via outside interference: any interference now = fined/suspended. Sammy & Darby have to fight here & co-exist Sunday.
A live crowd makes a hell of a difference, doesn’t it? This one was electric as we jumped straight into the action, all three exchanging high-impact strikes and kicks in the corner, culminating in a code-red from Darby before Sammy broke the two-count into one of his own, quickly ending the alliance.
With Andrade on the outside, Darby grabbed a headlock against the backdrop of dueling chants from the crowd. Sammy broke out, performing his usual series of flips before smacking Allin with a dropkick and kipping up.
Guevara attempted a super plex, only for Andrade to sneak back in, dropping both in a spectacular double powerbomb from the top. ‘This is awesome’ chants from a rabid crowd.
Back from the break, Sammy was hurled leg-first into the top buckle via the last of the three-amigos, leaving the champ laying as the challengers exchanged slaps before Andrade muscled Darby up and across his knee. With both flyers prone, Andrade took flight with a double standing moonsault for a close two-count.
All three now exchanged wobbly strikes, slaps and chops as they battled back up, El Idolo’s size and strength winning the day as he countered a coffin splash and went back up top with Guevara on the outside. Crotched by Darby, he was then the victim of belt whips to the back as Excalibur talked of ‘referee’s discretion’. The champ then flew in from out of nowhere with a cross-ring coast to coast as Andrade hung upside down from the turnbuckle.
Finally, Darby dropped Andrade with a stunner which Sammy turned into a GTH. Hurled outside by Darby before he could capitalize, Allin took advantage by flipping off El Idolo from the top before landing the Coffin Drop. But it wasn’t over, the TNT champion returning the favor, flying in with a senton to break up the pin before covering Andrade for the 1,2,3.
Sammy tried to shake hands with Darby; Allin refused and left. Bad news for Sunday.
This was fantastic. Should’ve been on Revolution but instead we get Matt Hardy. Delete!
WINNER: Sammy Guevara, retains.
Death Triangle (sans Fenix) challenged the House of Black. ‘The Dark Priest’ Alex Abrahantes was really hamming it up here. Not to mention looking like he’d got drunk and raided the props department of a high-school Drama Club. Aleister et al. appeared behind them but the good guys were ready. Abrahantes revealed a new partner as Erick Redbeard (Rowan) came out. Security intervened: Redbeard smashed a few and Penta Dark snapped an arm. The House looked shook on the outside.
This will be on the Buy-in Sunday.
Dan Lambert promo with Scorpio Sky. The latter will challenge for the TNT title on Dynamite in exchange for Paige Vanzant signing her AEW contract on Sunday.
KEITH LEE VS JD DRAKE
Story going in: Keith Lee has been warned by Ricky Starks that this is ‘his’ show and Keith better not show up, ahead of Lee, Starks and Hobbs squaring-off in the ladder match Sunday.
First things first, Starks’ Lee impression is hilarious, it was disappointing when the latter cut him off on Wednesday. Fortunately, Ricky blessed us with it from the commentary booth.
Second things first, Isiah Kassidy was the star in the former ‘Bearcat’s first outing, doing most of the work with Lee looking a little heavy (not judging, just speaking athletically). Could he live up to first impressions?
Sort-of is the answer. ‘Limitless’ appeared a little gassed at times in this very short match, pausing for a long time before hoisting Drake up into the DVD for the win. Starks claiming a ‘lucky chop’ after Keith sent Drake sprawling to the mat was probably the highlight.
WINNER: Keith Lee
Next, we were whisked back to Wednesday and an angry CM Punk in the aftermath of being bloodied by MJF. So Max wanted the ‘old’ Punk? Well, he’s gonna get him. Punk will be a monster to beat a monster because ‘I’m CM Punk… and I’m better than you.’
Tony Schiavone was with Jade Cargill and ‘Smart’ Mark, who’d slapped a clause into the match contract – Tay Conti couldn’t touch Cargill in the forty-eight hours before the match. Anna Jay dropped in to remind the pair that the forty-eight hours hadn’t started yet as Conti exploded into the picture with a kick to the face.
Champion and challenger threw around the word ‘bitch’ in a way that would make Too $hort blush.
SERENA DEEB VS LEILA GREY – ‘PROFESSOR’S 5 MIN. ROOKIE CHALLENGE’
Story going in: Serena continues to display her dominance by winning in under 5 mins.
Grey ran away for a while, Deeb caught her, dropped her over the ropes then clasped the front chancery for the submission win.
Serena was enjoying a post-match Serenity Lock when who should return but Hikaru Shida, walloping ‘the Professor’ with an outpouring of kendo-stick shots.
WINNER: Serena Deeb in 0.57.
‘Kayfabe may be dead, we don’t have to piss on its grave’, spat Eddie Kingston in reference to Chris Jericho’s flurry of ‘insider’ terms in recent weeks. Between this and the 2Pac shirt, how can you not love this guy? Vowed to embarrass Le Champion this weekend before inviting Schiavone for some peanut butter pie. Again, how can you not love this guy?
ETHAN PAGE VS CHRISTIAN, FACE OF THE REVOLUTION QUALIFIER
Story going in: Winner gets the final place in Sunday’s ladder match.
So, this match stood out from most in AEW.
No, it wasn’t nearly as good as the opener. But the pair actually went for pinfalls, they tried to win!
There were a ton of them here in a very short match which Christian took so much of, you almost believed he was losing. They fought in the ring and out, with the veteran hitting a tornado DDT off the ring steps.
Nearing its end, ‘Captain Charisma’ was preparing a spear, Page countered with a shoulder block, 2. ‘All Ego’ went for the kill with the Ego’s Edge, counter, spear, 2. Signalling the Kill switch, Christian had his eyes raked before being plummeted into the ring post. Page again hoisted him up for the Edge but this was again countered into the match-ending Kill switch.
Although Page winning would’ve made sense given their ages, Christian’s experience in ladder matches will probably come in handy Sunday with so many inexperienced guys out there.
WINNER: Christian
Afterward, Eighties pop blared as Jurassic Express came out to celebrate. They were followed by the Bucks and reDRagon, who each stole a tag belt before eyeing each other warily. Luchasaurus reached outside and grabbed both titles back, followed by a crashing senton from Jungle Boy to end the show.
GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO WATCH…
• That TNT title three-way. Honestly, there was so much here that the above review was barely thorough. An incredible pace, tons of cool moves before a red-hot crowd.
• Eddie’s interview (he’d get mad if we called it a ‘promo’). Very short, very sweet.
Quick PPV Predictions
• Conti vs Cargill – Cargill, sigh
• Bucks vs RD vs J Express – The ‘Mid-Mesozoic’ Express 😉
• FotR – Wardlow
• Sting, Darby & Sammy vs AFHO – Sting & co. leading to split of AHFO
• Britt vs Rosa – Rosa unless there’s a big debut coming soon/she’s winning in S.A. in 2 weeks
• Jericho vs Eddie – Eddie
• Mox vs Bryan – Mox
• Punk vs MJF – Punk but wouldn’t put money on it.
• Cole vs Hangman – Hangman
Thanks for reading. Have a great weekend! Enjoy Revolution!
P.S. Oh yeh the big news: bought a refurbished laptop from 2002.
Erick Redbeard, formerly known as Erick Rowan in WWE, appeared on the live AEW Rampage last night and will be wrestling on Revolution tomorrow night.
Redbeard will be part of a trios match involving the Death Triangle versus The House of Black.
During Rampage, Alex Abrahantes challenged The House of Black for tomorrow in a trios match. House of Black suddenly appeared in the ring after the lights went out but Abrahantes had a surprise for them, saying he won’t be the third person in the Death Triangle. Erick Redbeard then ran to the ring as a brawl ensued, with security trying to break it up.
And with that, Redbeard will now join Penta and PAC to take on Black, King, and Matthews in a trios match.
This is Redbeard’s second appearance in AEW. He previously appeared during the Brodie Lee memorial show.
Two more WrestleMania matches were confirmed last night on Friday Night Smackdown with now the two-day show having nine matches on the card and more still to be added.
Sami Zayn, who lost the Intercontinental title to Ricochet last night thanks to an interference from Johnny Knoxville, will be taking on Knoxville on WrestleMania Sunday. The feud between these two has been going on since before the Royal Rumble.
Also, Pat McAfee will step back in the ring to take on Mr. McMahon’s protege Austin Theory. On Smackdown, Theory came down to tell McAfee he’s his opponent and then slapped the headphones off McAfee’s head.
An upset McAfee then went on the table and told Theory that he doesn’t know who he is and then ripped Michael Cole a new one!

He gets out of the ring and stands in front of McAfee as McAfee stands up and Theory announces he is McAfee’s WrestleMania opponent then smacks McAfee knocking his headset off.
After Theory leaves McAfee yells at Cole saying who is that? And Cole is a horrible human being for knowing what was happening and he is now embarrassed in Miami as they continue to settle down.

Ronda Rousey will be wrestling on Smackdown for the first time ever tonight in a match that should wrap up her storyline with Sonya Deville.
Over the course of her WWE career, Rousey never wrestled on Smackdown as she was part of the Raw roster during her first stint. Upon her return, the baddest woman on the planet was moved to the blue brand to make some execs at FOX happy.
Two other matches have been announced for tonight’s broadcast, including Sami Zayn defending the Intercontinental title against Ricochet and The Usos defending the Smackdown Tag Team titles against The Viking Raiders.
Several industry insiders are reporting that people within WWE were caught off guard with Tony Khan’s announcement that he purchased Ring of Honor and thought the surprise was going to be the streaming deal with WarnerMedia-owned HBO Max.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE was given the opportunity to purchase the assets of Ring of Honor and they didn’t know Sinclair turned them down until the announcement by Khan was made. WWE already explored the idea of buying out the indie promotion a few years ago but the deal never transpired.
Meltzer also added that if Triple H was spearheading the deal, the result would have certainly been different and this was one case of WWE missing Triple H and not pushing hard enough to get it over the line.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast also added that sources told him the effort to get it done by WWE wasn’t there on the same level this would have been in the years before.
The deal between Khan and Sinclair Broadcast Group was not finalized until this week although in mid-February, negotiations between the two parties were already locked and Khan was confident that he would be the one getting the win over his rivals in securing the indie promotion and its video library.
