Josh Alexander signs new Impact Wrestling deal

Josh Alexander returned during the closing moments of Sacrifice last night, attacking the Impact World champion.

Alexander, whose contract with Impact expired several weeks ago and had to go back home as his U.S. visa expired too, then cut a promo and told everyone that he signed a new multi-year deal with the promotion and signed another contract for the a match against Moose at Rebellion for the Impact World title.

Alexander was originally going to be part of the Team Impact vs Team Honor No More match but was “sent home” by EVP Scott D’Amore. In reality, his contract was not renewed in time and he had to go back to Canada since his work visa expired too.

The 34-year-old won the Impact World title from Christian Cage at Bound For Glory last year but while celebrating in the ring with his family, Moose cashed in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy and lost it minutes later.
