It’s the biggest WWE party of the Summer and WWE action returns to Ford Field for the first time since WrestleMania 23.
We are presenting the latest odds for the show and while these numbers are accurate, they will most likely change as the show gets closer to start time. Please be careful when placing bets with real, hard earned money, and also see offers from casinofieber.com.
It’s Tribal Combat and cousins Roman Reigns and Jey Uso will run it again, this time, as they say, is for all the marbles! The Undisputed WWE Universal champion is heavy favorite with 1/10 odds unsurprisingly while Jey is 11/2 to create history.
The situation between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor remains undecided as both Superstars are at 5/6 to walk out of Detroit as the World Heavyweight champion.
The WWE Women’s title is on the line in a triple threat match as Asuka defends against Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair. Asuka is still favorite with 4/7 odds while Flair is 5/2 and Belair is 3/1.
Gunther’s reign is also looking like a lock to continue as the Intercontinental champion is favorite with 4/11 odds to win against Drew McIntyre who is 2/1 to end Gunther’s near-historic reign.
Cody Rhodes story continues tonight with Brock Lesnar and with the series between the two tied at 1-1, tonight’s blowoff match sees Rhodes in pole position to win with 1/7 odds against Lesnar who is a distant second with 4/1.
Logan Paul is looking for his first WWE in quite a while as he takes on Ricochet. Paul is 1/6 favorite to win, although his odds of making it in time to Dallas for his brother’s boxing fight walk out must surely be worse than that! Ricochet is 7/2 to end Paul.
Is it Ronda Rousey’s WWE goodbye tonight? It certainly seems so. The baddest woman on the planet is the underdog with 5/2 odds heading into the MMA Rules match against Shayna Baszler who is 1/4 to win.
And who will win the SummerSlam battle royal? YEAH! Lemme talk to ya! The fans will certainly be behind LA Knight and bookmakers are too as they placed him favorite with 4/7 odds to win. Sheamus is second with 7/2 while Bronson Reed is 5/1. Bobby Lashley and Grayson Waller wrap up the top five with 11/2 and 15/2 odds respectively. YEAH!
WWE will celebrate 25 years of Edge in two weeks at the Smackdown on August 18 in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.
The Rated-R Superstar will be appearing on the show in person and last year Edge said that he would like to end his career in Toronto when WWE comes back. If that is still the plan remains to be seen.
Edge was last seen on the July 7 episode of Smackdown where he was a guest on the Grayson Waller Effect and then wrestled – and won – against Waller in Madison Square Garden.
His last match prior to that was on the May 12 episode of Smackdown where he was involved in a triple threat with Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles to determine who will advance in the WWE World Heavyweight title tournament.
25 WWE Superstars will be part of tonight’s SummerSlam Battle Royal which is presented by sponsor Slim Jim. WWE and Slim Jim announced yesterday the biggest WWE sponsorship deal in history.
Out of the 25 participants, 15 have already been announced. These are in alphabetical order AJ Styles, Butch, Chad Gable, Grayson Waller, Karrion Kross, LA Knight, Luke Gallows, Matt Riddle, Otis, Ridge Holland, Santos Escobar, Sheamus, Shinsuke Nakamura, The Miz, and Tommaso Ciampa.
There are no betting odds available for this match but LA Knight has to be super favorite to win this battle royal.
AEW Collision will go head-to-head with a WWE premium live event for the first time tonight and to spice things up, the “real” AEW World title will be up for grabs.
Last week, CM Punk proclaimed that he is in possession of the real AEW World title, a title that he never lost after All Out. He will be putting it up on the line against Ricky Starks with Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat as the special outside official.
That is not the only AEW title to be defended tonight as FTR defend their AEW Tag Team titles against Big Bill and Brian Cage and Kris Statlander takes on Mercedes Martinez with the TBS title also on the line. No other matches have been announced as of press time.
Hello everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA with you here for tonight’s SummerSlam Pick’em report. Colin will be defending the WOPC Championship in a Triple Threat against myself and the ever-dangerous Heel Turn Tom. This is easily one of the most exciting nights of the year, so let’s not waste any more time.
ON WITH THE PICKS!!
Ricochet vs. Logan Paul
Colin: This should be a good one! Paul has been doing some jobs since he came in and I’m thinking one of these days he has to register a win, right? I like Ricochet, but if there’s someone WWE would be able to “sacrifice” to lose to Paul, it would be him. Paul wins.
Heel Turn Tom: WWE likes their celebrities and Logan has been impressive. Logan Paul gets the pin over Ricochet.
Magnum: Man, I really think Ricochet could use the win here, but this is being built like Logan Paul has something to prove. I think they’ll have a chance to steal the show here, but I’m taking Paul for the win.
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Gunther (c) (with Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci) vs. Drew McIntyre
Colin: If there wasn’t the Honky Tonk Man record coming soon, I would have picked Drew McIntyre to win this one. But I can’t see WWE screwing up Gunther’s record, and we all know how they are about breaking records of yesteryear. Has the potential to be the match of the night but Gunther will walk out of Detroit still champion.
Heel Turn Tom: Gunther is not too far from breaking the Honky Tonk Man’s record. After a hard hitting match, Gunther will still be the champ.
Magnum: I don’t know where Drew is with his contract talks, but until a new deal is hammered out, Drew will be joining Matt Riddle in the loser’s line. Gunther retains.
MMA Rules
Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler
Colin: This is Rousey’s last match for the next foreseeable future and you would think she would lose on her way out. And I think she will. Baszler is her friend and she would greatly benefit from a win over Rousey. It would set up a good return match down the line. Shayna for the big upset!
Heel Turn Tom: With Ronda supposedly leaving, I hope she puts her friend over as the new baddest woman in WWE. Shayna Baszler with the win and hopefully a good push to follow.
Magnum: I keep going back and forth on this one. While it’s still considered an upset, Shayna is actually favored in Vegas to win this one…and I can’t go against that. I’ll take Shayna to win.
SummerSlam Battle Royal
Colin: L.A. Knight. Yeah! Anyone else, and everyone is going to be shitting on them.
Heel Turn Tom: It has to be L.A. Knight, right? He is hot and need to push him. So Knight last eliminates Sheamus for the W.
Magnum: I hate going consensus so far, but yeah this Battle Royal has L.A. Knight’s name written all over it. I’ll take Knight for the breakout win.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) vs. Finn Bálor
Colin: This is a tricky one. If it was me booking it, I would give Finn Balor the title. He certainly deserves it and needs a win against Rollins. Then again, Rollins just won it a few months ago and I’m not sure they want to pull a switch just now. I want a Balor win, but think Seth is going to win this one.
Heel Turn Tom: I’m going with Seth winning over Finn, but after a grueling match Damian Priest cashes in to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. I better get bonus points when this happens.
Magnum: Sorry Tom, we aren’t doing bonus points for cash-ins! Haha, that said, I am actually going against the grain here. I’d like to believe that a cash-in is possible, but wouldn’t it be something if Damian cashed in on Finn? Interesting. Let’s go with that scenario. Regardless of the cash-in, I’ll take Finn Balor to win this match.
WWE Women’s Championship – Triple Threat
Asuka (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair
Colin: I really don’t know about this one. Hopefully it won’t be Charlotte, let’s just say that LOL! Belair had a long run with it and Asuka hasn’t really impressed much. I say Asuka wins but IYO SKY will cash in the briefcase and wins! NEW CHAMPION!
Heel Turn Tom: I know WWE has been pushing Asuka, but I am going to predict that comes to an end and Charlotte Flair wins with a figure 8 on Belair to keep a story with Asuka and Flair going.
Magnum: All this cash-in talk is getting me excited! Again, no bonus points for calling an IYO SKY cash-in, but it’s very possible! I do agree with Colin, though…Asuka has never beaten Charlotte Flair in a big-time PPV match, and this would be another notch on her belt. I’ll take Asuka to retain, regardless of what happens afterwards.
Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
Colin: I thought they would do a gimmick match for the third match. This probably won’t be long but it will be great. After the beatings he’s been getting, I have no doubt that Cody Rhodes will win this one and hopefully gets back on track to finish the damn story.
Heel Turn Tom: This story has been going on all summer and I am guessing it ends at Summer Slam. I assume that Cody will eventually defeat Roman so I am seeing a clean pin over Brock in this match.
Magnum: Wow. Well, this is Cody’s chance to finish the story. Well, maybe not the big story, but at least this story for the Summer. Brock seems to be heading off into the sunset (again), so let’s take Cody here and let’s get him on track for another World Championship match. Unless…Brian Pillman Jr. has anything to say about it! ;o)
Tribal Combat – Winner is Tribal Chief & WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion
Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa) vs. Jey Uso
Colin: Expecting some twists and turns in this one. It’s going to be a war alright and we will love it. Tons of near falls for sure but Roman Reigns will come out victorious. Jey is not ready and he will fall to the Tribal Chief.
Heel Turn Tom: When Roman loses, it has to be at a WrestleMania. I hope the Tribal Chief brings in some new members like the Guerrillas of Destiny to help him keep his title. Due to some shenanigans, Roman will still be the WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion.
Magnum: This feels like the final chapter. Who will be the Tribal Chief at the end of the night? I’m not sure. I do think that whoever wins this match…they’re going to be subject to a beat-down by either The Judgment Day or Bobby Lashley’s crew. No matter who wins, the family is going to need each other. I’ll take Roman to retain, and I’ll take Jey to help Roman after a savage post-match beat-down from an outside stable.
Alright everyone, that’s the SummerSlam 2023 Pick’em report! Enjoy the show, and we’ll see you next time! @TheMagnumDA signing off.
WWE Hall of Famer Kid Rock is part of tonight’s SummerSlam cold intro, narrating the video giving a small history of SummerSlam before proclaiming that tonight, they will make history in Motor City.
Kid Rock is from Detroit and is a big WWE fan as it’s evident from his long relationship with the promotion. He has appeared numerous times on WWE television and his songs have been widely used on TV as entrance themes for different WWE Superstars as well as PPV themes.
The 52-year-old singer and songwriter even showed up front row at last year’s SummerSlam, although his appearance garnered attention for all the wrong reasons as he started making out with Trailer Trash Tammy when cameras got them in frame!
Kid Rock was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.
Starting next week, WWE is making some major changes to its commentary teams in a story posted exclusively by Variety.
Michael Cole and Wade Barrett, who currently work on Smackdown, will move to Monday Night Raw. This will be the first time that Cole will call Raw since 2019 as he was exclusive to Smackdown when it moved to FOX. Barrett has never done commentary for Raw before.
But that is not all, Cole will be pulling double duty every week as he will be also leading the commentary table on Friday Night Smackdown. He will be joined by current Raw commentary team of Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick.
Variety reports that WWE remains “high on Patrick” despite the apparent demotion and pairing him with Cole will eventually benefit him in the long run.
In an interview with GQ Sports discussing his new documentary on Peacock, Cody Rhodes described leaving AEW as the easiest thing he ever did.
The real reason why Rhodes left the company remains a secret as both he and Tony Khan decided to not speak about it although Rhodes said it was a personal issue.
Asked by GQ if it was hard to close that chapter in his life considering he helped create AEW from the ground up, Cody responded, “No, it was the easiest thing I ever did. It’s because I had a personal issue that I wasn’t going through, over, or around. I was just going to steer clear of it.”
He added that he wants to look at what he did over at AEW and see it as a wonderful time and beautiful memory but it was time to move on.
“You know, all good things. It certainly was like that with me. So I mean it not in a negative way, like I was happy to burn rubber and speed out, but it just wasn’t a decision that was difficult for me at all. Or for Brandi,” he continued.
American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes is streaming now on Peacock.
Live tonight from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, WWE presents SummerSlam on Peacock and WWE Network. The full card is as follows:
Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat match for the Undisputed WWE Universal title and tribal chiefdom; Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor for the World Heavyweight title; Asuka vs Charlotte Flair vs Bianca Belair in a triple threat match for the WWE Women’s title; Gunther vs Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental title; Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar; Ricochet vs Logan Paul; Ronda Rousey vs Shayna Baszler in an MMA rules match; and the Slim Jim SummerSlam Battle Royal.
The SummerSlam Kickoff show starts at 7PM ET airing on Peacock, WWE Network, and all of WWE’s social media properties while SummerSlam will start at 8PM ET. A SummerSlam press conference will stream live on Peacock immediately following the end of the show.
As reported yesterday, former NXT champion Bobby Roode is in Detroit for SummerSlam weekend but the Glorious star will not be appearing on television.
PWInsider.com reports that Roode will work as a producer at tonight’s SummerSlam and also Monday during Raw. It’s unclear if this is just a tryout or a new permanent position for him.
Roode underwent two spinal fusion surgeries since December of last year, with the recent one being in May. A return to the ring is certainly not on the horizon yet considering the recovery time for those surgeries.
The 47-year-old last wrestled on June 25, 2022 at a non-televised live event losing to Omos.
AEW star PAC will be out of action for an undetermined amount of time with an injury which was not explained as of yet.
Tony Schiavone announced on Rampage last night that the British star is out injured and will be on the sidelines for “quite a while.”
PAC recently returned to AEW last month for the Blood & Guts match after being absent from the promotion since January of this year. Following Blood & Guts, he wrestled Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH World title at Death Before Dishonor and then Gravity on Dynamite on July 26.
At a SummerSlam press conference yesterday, former WWE champion Big E repeated the claims that doctors have advised him to hang up his boots after breaking his neck over a year ago.
E told the press that while everything looks great and he’s not feeling any pain, spine specialists who worked on other WWE Superstars in the past and performed fusions on their neck said that if they were him, he would not wrestle again.
Pressed if there’s any timeline, Big E said no, and noted that he’s just grateful that he does not have any nerve paid.
“My strength is great, legit no issues whatsoever. So it’s just something I want to be smart about and make the very best decision for my life,” Big E said. “Hopefully I’d like to have have a lot of healthy life ahead of me. Unfortunately, right now, I have no answers. I feel great, but yeah, I have nothing.”
E broke his neck on the March 11, 2022 episode of Smackdown when Ridge Holland executed an overhead suplex on him but didn’t get enough height and Big E landed on his head, fracturing his C1 and C6 vertebrae.
Tonight’s match between former WWE Women’s Tag Team champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler will be contested under MMA rules and it was only yesterday that the stipulations were announced.
The match cannot be won by a pinfall and the only way Rousey or Baszler will get a victory tonight is by either making their opponent pass out, submit, or get a TKO.
This is believed to be Ronda Rousey’s last WWE match on her current contract as Rousey is leaving the promotion again for the foreseeable future. In fact, Shayna is the favorite on the betting lines to win this match.
Brawling Brutes, Karrion Kross, The Miz, Grayson Waller, A.J. Styles, Mia Yim, Santos Escobar all make their way to the ring to watch the match as they are all competitors in tomorrow’s Summer Slam Battle Royal.
Sheamus tips up and pulls himself up to the top turn buckle, but he seems disoriented, and Knight catches him with his jump to the top rope, but Knight slips off and climbs up again this time. Sheamus falls backwards onto the steel ring steps then the floor as Knight crashes straight down to the floor.
As the crowded ringside competitors start arguing on the side where Sheamus and Knight now are, Austin Theory comes out of nowhere and blasts Santos Escobar. As Styles, Kross, The Miz and Waller come back to Escobar, Theory skips away back up the aisle as a fight breaks out between everyone at ringside.
The Miz gloats, Sheamus, who is now back in the ring and recovered, grabs him and starts hammering on his chest as Knight is coming to on the other side of the ring. As Sheamus hammers on The Miz, Knight rolls Sheamus up but only gets a 2 count. Knight gets up right in front of where the Miz is still standing on the apron. Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick but hits The Miz and Knight grabs him and hits the Blunt Force Trauma and gets the win.
Winner: L.A. Knight
After the match Kross and Waller come after Knight but Knight gets out of the ring and Waller says we will get you tomorrow night.
In the back the O.C. and the Brawling Brutes are arguing and Adam Pearce yells if you guys want to fight get to the ring and Ridge, Butch and the Good Brothers walk away leaving Sheamus and A.J. Styles in a stare down.
A video package of Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes matches were shown.
The Brawling Brutes VS. The O.C.
No Contest after the Street Profits come in dressed in suits and attacked both teams.
As the Profits leave the ring Bobby Lashley meets them on the stage and they pose together.
Paul Heyman is in the ring and showed a video package of the Samoan Family and Jey Uso comes out. Jey says he is going to beat Roman and become not only the champ but also the new Tribal Chief. This brings Solo Sikoa to the ring. Jey says he is his brother, and he can forgive him, and they did the same thing to him.
Paul pulls Solo aside and tells him to listen to him. Solo yells at Paul to get out and Jey hits Solo with a superkick.
Austin Theory was interviewed and said he is going to beat Santos Escobar tomorrow night just like he is going to beat Cameron Grimes right now.
Austin Theory VS. Cameron Grimes
As Theory waited in the ring for Grimes he was attacked by Santos Escobar and Escobar hit his finisher leaving Theory lying in the ring.
Winner: No Match
The Grayson Waller Effect with special guest Iyo Sky and Bayley. Waller joked and had Shotzi’s music play and Bayley got scared. Shotzi’s music came on again and Bayley said you can’t fool me twice, but Shotzi comes out this time and tries to cut Bayley’s hair. Meanwhile, Zelina Vega drove the tank out and she is set to face Iyo tonight.
Iyo Sky VS. Zelina Vega
Shotzi was back on the stage fighting with Bayley and trying to cut her hair again. This distracted Sky who was on the ropes watching and she got caught by Vega who delivered a powerbomb then a Code Red and picked up the victory over Ms. Money in the Bank.
Winner: Zelina Vega
Jey Uso VS. Solo Sikoa
Brother VS. Brother.
Jey hits a spear then a splash off the top rope and Jey wins.
Winner: Jey Uso

Edibles are becoming more and more popular as an alternative to smoking cannabis, but many people don’t fully understand what they are all about. In this blog post, we’ll be taking a deep dive into the world of edibles and exploring six fantastic upsides that make them incredibly appealing to many marijuana enthusiasts. From increased convenience to profound relaxation, you won’t want to miss out on learning how edibles can take your cannabis experience up a notch!
Many find that edibles offer a more potent and longer-lasting high, but also that they come with fewer risks to overall health. Unlike smoking, edibles don’t release toxins or carcinogens into the body, which can be particularly important to those who use cannabis regularly. This makes edibles not only safer for individuals but also potentially more appealing for those who are looking to reduce any added health risks associated with smoking. When done correctly, edibles can provide a delicious and enjoyable experience without sacrificing one’s safety or well-being.
Health Benefits
Edibles are a convenient way to consume cannabis and enjoy the health benefits it offers. They are more discreet than smoking and provide a longer-lasting effect, making them ideal for people who want to relieve pain or treat anxiety. Edibles can help reduce inflammation, improve sleep quality, and even provide essential nutrients to the body. If you’re looking for a delicious and healthy way to consume cannabis, try some chill-out gummies as they will help you relax and unwind after a long day. Overall, edibles are a great option for anyone looking to enhance their physical and mental well-being.
Convenience
Unlike smoking, which can be messy and require preparation and clean-up, edibles can be consumed on the go without anyone else knowing. Whether you’re at a busy concert or simply on a walk through the park, edibles offer a convenient way to experience the benefits of cannabis without any of the fuss. Plus, with a wide range of options available, from gummies to baked goods, there’s sure to be an edible that suits your taste preferences.
Variety
Feast your senses on the multitude of flavors and forms that edible products come in. With tasty treats like gummies, brownies, and cookies, the possibilities for indulgence are endless. Why settle for plain old chocolate chip cookies when you can enjoy a medley of flavors like white chocolate macadamia nut, snickerdoodle, or peanut butter and jelly? And with the convenience of edibles, you can savor your sweet snack on the go or share it with friends at a party. The variety of edibles makes it easy for everyone to find a delicious treat they’ll love.
Edibles have become quite popular due to their longer-lasting effects compared to smoking marijuana. While smoking offers a quicker high, the effects tend to wear off quickly as well. Edibles, on the other hand, take longer to kick in but can last for several hours. This makes them a great choice for those who want a more long-lasting experience. The effects of edibles can be felt for up to 8 hours, depending on the dosage and the individual’s metabolism. It is important to note, however, that edibles can be more potent than smoking and should be consumed in moderation.
Overall, those looking for a more prolonged high are turning to edibles for a unique and enjoyable experience.
Cost Savings
Edible versions of marijuana products in particular have been gaining popularity, and for good reason – they often come with cost savings. When compared to traditional methods of consumption, such as smoking or vaping, edibles can provide a more affordable option for those who want to incorporate marijuana into their daily routine. Additionally, the effects of edibles tend to last longer than other methods, meaning that consumers may need to use fewer products overall. This can not only save money but can also be more convenient for those with busy lifestyles. Whether you’re looking to explore the world of cannabis or just trying to find a more budget-friendly way to enjoy it, edibles might be the perfect option for you.
In many ways, edibles are an ideal form of marijuana consumption. Not only do they provide longer-lasting effects and a more diverse taste profile than traditional smoking methods offer; but the potential health and wellness benefits are simply too hard to ignore. No matter if you are trying to relax after a long day or aiming for therapeutic relief, edible marijuana products can certainly be an amazing addition to anyone’s lifestyle.

Gunther looks like he is extending his IC title reign beyond tomorrow as he is favorite to retain with 7/20 odds while Drew McIntyre is 39/20.
Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar go for round three with the series set at 1-1. Lesnar finds himself in a rare place as the underdog, with his odds at 7/2 while Cody is the clear favorite with 2/13 odds.
Just like Lesnar, Rousey is rarely the underdog but she is tomorrow as she battles Shayna Baszler in possibly her last match in a while. Baszler is 1/4 favorite while Rousey follows with 5/2 odds.
