Drew McIntyre’s odds of winning the men’s Elimination Chamber increased as he is now 1/12 favorite to win the match. Randy Orton is at 5/1 and LA Knight has 7/1 odds. Logan Paul and Bobby Lashley are 11/1 and 16/1 respectively while Kevin Owens is a lost case with 25/1 odds.
The women’s Elimination Chamber match has a clear winner too according to bookmakers with Becky Lynch’s odds set at 1/16. Bianca Belair is 6/1 and Raquel Rodriquez is 8/1. Liv Morgan is 10/1, Naomi is 20/1, and Tiffany Stratton has Owens’ same odds of 25/1.
The Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles aren’t going anywhere, or so the numbers say, as The Judgment Day are 1/8 favorites to retain while New Catch Republic are 4/1.
And last and certainly not least, Rhea Ripley is 1/25 favorite to keep the WWE Women’s World title today against her opponent Nia Jax who is 15/2.
Hello everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA here with you for the Elimination Chamber pick’em report! It’s way past midnight here in Minneapolis, but I’m in it for the long haul tonight, baby! I am here to reclaim my WOPC Championship from the legendary Colin Vassallo – we pretty much see eye-to-eye on tonight’s show, but the devil is in the details…who will walk into WrestleMania XL as the champion? Let’s find out.
ON WITH THE PICKS!!
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) vs. Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae
Magnum: Well, this match came out of nowhere. Indi and Candice don’t strike me as the #1 Contenders for these titles. Then again, I’m happy for Indi to get a title match in her home country. Unfortunately, things won’t go The Way they’d hope (see what I did there?)…look for the Kabuki Warriors to retain.
Colin: Nice of them to give Indi a showing here in Australia. Like, there’s no way on God’s green earth this will have a title change. I would bet my whole life savings on it LOL! So yeah, Asuka and Sane for the win.
Elimination Chamber – Winner Faces the Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania XL
Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Raquel Rodriguez
Magnum: I’m thinking this has the potential to be the best Women’s Chamber match of all time. All of the women are super athletic, hard-hitting, and most of them have delivered on the big stage. This could lead to a breakout performance for someone like Raquel or my homestate girl Tiffy (shoutout to Prior Lake, MN!), but it could also be a return to form for someone like Liv or Naomi. Either way, all of these women deserve this spotlight…but in the end, The Man will create her path to Mania by getting the duke. Give me Becky Lynch for the win!
Bonus Question #1: What two wrestlers will start the match? (One point for each correct answer)Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan Bonus Question #2: Who will be the final entrant into the match? Raquel Rodriguez
Colin: I am hoping that Tiffany Stratton gets her time to shine here and wish she could do the moonsault from the top of the pod. That would be an awesome visual. Not expecting any of the Smackdown stars to win it for the obvious reasons and Becky Lynch makes the most sense here and it’s the biggest money match against Ripley at the moment. The Man wins.
Bonus Question #1: What two wrestlers will start the match? (One point for each correct answer) Bianca Belair and Tiffany Stratton Bonus Question #2: Who will be the final entrant into the match? Raquel Rodriguez
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) (c) vs. New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate)
Magnum: The Big Strong Boy and the Bruiserweight are going to pose a formidable challenge to The Judgment Day – the NCR also came out of nowhere to become the top challengers, don’t you think? Regardless, I would expect Priest and Bálor to hold serve and keep those titles in a match that could steal the show.
Colin: This should be a very good match I think. Dunne and Bate are awesome and can hang in there with anyone. Having said that, I still see Judgment Day winning this match and go on to WrestleMania with the belts.
WWE Women’s World Championship
Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax
Magnum: You know, we listed this match second to last on the card…but don’t be surprised if this is your main event…and what a main event it would be. Nia is so good at being unlikable – for the traditional marks, it’s easy to despise her because she has that resting witch face and her unpleasant personality. For the smart marks, it’s even easier! She’s totally unsafe in the ring, and she takes more liberties than anyone else in the Women’s division. I will take delight in watching Rhea rock Nia’s world. I am calling the highspot right now: Rhea bodyslams Jax, channeling the climax of Mania III. Looking forward to this one, big time! Rhea retains.
Colin: Can you imagine the heat if Nia beats Rhea in Australia? I would not put it past them. Old WWE regime would have probably done that but yeah, it would be mental if Rhea loses. She’s the most over female star they have and it makes no sense to drop it before WrestleMania. Rhea wins.
Elimination Chamber – Winner Faces the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania XL
Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. Bobby Lashley vs. LA Knight vs. Kevin Owens vs. Logan Paul
Magnum: This is the most excited I’ve been for the Men’s Chamber match in years. In prior Men’s Chamber matches, a title would be on the line. I love that we’re going back to the format of, “the winner of this match gets a title shot at Mania.” I’m going to take a stab at something. They’re going to do something with Sami Zayn. I don’t know if he’s going to be the one to dethrone Gunther, or if he’s going to be in the World Heavyweight Championship match at Mania XL, but they’ve got big plans for him. Wouldn’t it be something if he somehow got into this match…and what if he won?! You heard it here first, folks. Then again, if Sami is not part of this match, then I’ll roll with the hottest heel of 2024 so far…Drew McIntyre.
Bonus Question #1: What two wrestlers will start the match? (One point for each correct answer)Logan Paul and Kevin Owens Bonus Question #2: Who will be the final entrant into the match?Drew McIntyre
Colin: Same logic of the women’s Chamber match, no one from Smackdown should win this. Drew McIntyre is the only one – storyline-wise – that makes sense winning the match. Is it predictable? Yes, but predictable is OK when it makes sense. Time to let Drew run with the title.
Bonus Question #1: What two wrestlers will start the match? (One point for each correct answer) LA Knight and Logan Paul Bonus Question #2: Who will be the final entrant into the match? Drew McIntyre
Alright everybody! That’s going to do it for the Elimination Chamber Pick’em report! We will see you in April for WrestleMania XL!! @TheMagnumDA signing off.

In the men’s Elimination Chamber match, Drew McIntyre is currently the favorite to book his WrestleMania trip against Seth Rollins with odds of 1/7. Randy Orton is second with 17/4 while LA Knight is 7/1, Kevin Owens and Logan Paul are 17/1, and Bobby Lashley is 20/1.
In the women’s Elimination Chamber, Becky Lynch shares the same odds of her male counterpart, with 1/7 odds and favorite to win. Bianca Belair is 4/1 and second while Naomi is 9/1, Liv Morgan is 10/1, and Raquel Rodriguez and Tiffany Stratton both at 20/1.
The Judgment Day will defend their Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles against New Catch Republic and the champions are 1/20 big favorites to keep their straps while their opponents are 7/1 underdogs.
And in the WWE Women’s World title match, Rhea Ripley is the monster favorite with 1/50 odds to retain her gold in her home country while Nia Jax is 9/1 for the big upset.
This week’s Dynamite marked a full year of shows not crossing the one million viewership mark on Wednesday night for All Elite Wrestling.
The last time AEW Dynamite did over one million viewers was on February 22, 2023 when it did 1,028,000 viewers and a 0.35 rating in 18-49. This week, the show had 828,000 viewers and 0.29 rating in 18-49. Both are year-over-year declines but the 0.29 is the same average the show did last year while the 828,000 is less than last year’s average.
The closest Dynamite has been to a million over the past 52 weeks was for its Grand Slam episode last September when it did 984,000 viewers. Dynamite did over a million viewers only twice in 2023, the other time on January 25 registering 1,003,000 viewers.
Dynamite has yet to hit the 900,000 mark this year so far but is expected to cross that, and even maybe the million, with the Big Business episode on March 13.
Thousands of WWE fans turned up at the Elimination Chamber media event outside Optus Stadium earlier today in Perth, Australia.
The event was hosted by Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Australia’s own Grayson Waller. Those who attended were Triple H, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Logan Paul, Bianca Belair, Tiffany Stratton, Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, and Rhea Ripley.
Waller called out Cena for wanting WrestleMania in London and the crowd started a “Cena sucks” chant much to Waller’s enjoyment. Triple H made the crowd sing Cody Rhodes’ theme song so he could show it to him since Cody was still on a plane coming over and Kevin Owens and Logan Paul got into a brawl.
The main event spot was left for Nia Jax and Rhea Ripley and as you can imagine, Ripley was super over with the crowd and threw the Prime drink on Jax to end their face-to-face.
The press conference ended with both Waller and Ripley drinking beer from a shoe, a practice very popular in Australia!
Fans in the United States will have a taste of what the rest of the world endures to watch WWE premium live events with a start time of stupid o’clock.
The Elimination Chamber will start at 6PM local time in Perth, which means a 5AM start time on the East Coast and a 2AM start time on the West Coast. Those in Central Europe will have a comfortable 11AM start time while those in the United Kingdom it kicks off at 10AM. If you’re in Saudi Arabia, it’s a 1PM start and if you’re somewhere in India it’s an even better 3:30PM start.
The Elimination Chamber Kickoff show will start an hour earlier than the times quoted above.
Dynamite this week drew 828,000 viewers, up 17,000 viewers from the prior week and the third-best viewership of the show for 2023 so far. Dynamite had a 0.29 rating in 18-49, down 0.01 from the prior week and was #1 in the top 50 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Wrestlenomics)
Nic Nemeth, the man formerly known as Dolph Ziggler in WWE, won the IWGP Global Championship today at the New Beginning in Sapporo. The show was held at the Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center in Sapporo, Japan.
Nemeth defeated David Finlay in the main event of the show, ending Finlay’s reign after just 50 days. Finlay was crowned the inaugural champion at Wrestle Kingdom 18 in a three-way match against Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.
Nemeth first appeared for NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom with his brother Ryan and got into a brawl with Finlay after Finlay’s match. He then attacked him in the post-show press conference.
This was Nemeth’s first match with New Japan Pro-Wrestling and just his fifth since he was released from WWE. He is also a regular for TNA Wrestling.
The Elimination Chamber structure took well over a month to make it from the United States to Perth, Australia after pirates blocked a passage where the ship was supposed to go through once it sailed through the Suez Canal in Egypt.
Instead, the whole disassembled structure was sent to Miami, Florida, where it was then loaded on a truck for a cross-country trip to Los Angeles, lifted on a ship to Sydney, Australia, and then loaded on a train to Perth.
The structure arrived in time for construction to begin this week and it is now set up in place ready for tomorrow’s event.
Two Elimination Chamber matches will be held tomorrow featuring 12 WWE Superstars.
Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Podcast is reporting that the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in June will be taking place from the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.
The location is usually used for Dynamite and Rampage: Grand Slam in September and at this point it is unclear if the company will be returning to Queens for that television taping just three months after running the same location.
The company had good crowds at the home of the U.S. Open although attendance at the 2023 event was half of that from 2021, with 11,000 in the stands.
This year’s Forbidden Door will also feature the participation of CMLL stars along with NJPW ones.
AEW is expected to make the official announcement soon.
Last year’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view was held in Toronto, Canada.
The taped episode of NXT drew 616,000 viewers this week, down 34,000 viewers from the prior week and the least-watched episode of the show so far in 2023. NXT scored a 0.18 rating in 18-49, up 0.01 from last week and was #4 on the top 50 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: SpoilerTV)
The Rock’s and Roman Reigns’ segment on Friday Night Smackdown last week was, much to no surprise, the highest-rated segment of the show with 2,890,000 viewers tuning in for the final quarter hour according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.
The segment also delivered an impressive 0.86 rating in 18-49 which translates to over a million viewers.
While this was a high number, it is not the highest-rated segment of the past year for the company, with Roman Reigns’ Tribal Court still at the top with just over 3 million viewers from July. His 1,000 day celebration as champion also came close with 2,901,000 viewers.
WWE is looking to hook more viewers as it heads into WrestleMania and the addition of The Rock in the coming weeks will surely help bump up those numbers.
Austin Theory got in a heated argument with an Australian journalist after the journalist kept disrespecting Theory saying that it’s all fake.
“I mean it’s fake. Like you’re not actually hitting each other,” Western Australia sports editor Anthony De Ceglie told Theory as cameras surrounded them.
Theory didn’t appreciate the comment and said that he was brought in here for media and was not going to accept being talked to like that.
“Just cause you’re in charge of some shit here man it doesn’t mean you can talk to me like this,” Theory responded.
The journalist said he did not mean to offend him but Theory didn’t want to hear any of it.
“You couldn’t walk a damn day in my shoes,” Theory said to the claim that his job is easy. “You got me in here dude, are you kidding me man? I’ll smack the shit out of you right now.”
Theory continued, “I’m not playing around. You bring me all the way here for some media man. This guy’s talking his f*cking head off man!”
At that point others had to intervene and Theory walked out of the interview.
Meanwhile, Grayson Waller, who several weeks ago also went through something like this in Australia when he was doing media with LA Knight, wrote on X, “Might need to organise a Tag Match soon…A Town Down Under vs Dumb Aussie ‘journos,'” he wrote.
Theory gets into a heated argument with an Australian reporter who called WWE ‘fake’.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Bobby Roode has revealed that he has got the green light to return to the ring but despite that, he said he wants to focus more on his current WWE job as a producer.
Roode has not stepped inside a WWE ring for a wrestling match since June 2022 in a match against Omos and has since undergone two neck – C4/C5 and C5/C6 – fusion surgeries.
“Ironically enough, I just got green-lighted. The fusion has completely fused. So as far as like, looking at it from a medical point of view, it’s safe to get back in the ring, I guess,” Roode told Van Vliet. “But at almost 48 years old, given the opportunity that I’ve been given now to work as a producer, which was my goal coming to WWE almost eight years ago, I’m quite happy doing this.”
The former NXT champion said he feels like he had a good run in his career and he’s happy to do what he’s doing now.
Asked about returning to the ring full-time, Roode shot down that idea, saying that he still has some issues with his C6/C7 vertebrae and while he would love to have one last match, he said, “When the wheels fall off, the wheels fall off. That’s the nature of the beast in this sport, in this industry.”
The Elimination Chamber Superstore opened in Perth, Australia earlier today as thousands of fans flocked to Forrest Place for merchandise.
Apparel flew off the shelves and hundreds of title belts found new owners with Australian fans spending their hard-earned money on different kind of merchandise, with never-ending lines to go in and to even pay.
The Kabuki Warriors were at the store today meeting fans and Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate will be on tomorrow at Noon while Dakota Kai will visit the store on Saturday at 11AM.
The store re-opens tomorrow for 12 hours from 9AM to 9PM and then Saturday from 9AM to 6PM and Sunday from 10AM to 2PM.
Monday Night Raw drew 1,870,000 viewers this week, up 119,000 viewers from the prior week and the third best number of 2023 so far.
Raw started with a solid 1,965,000 viewers but then decreased to 1,895,000 viewers in the second hour and wrapped up the night with 1,751,000 viewers, with the show losing over 200,000 viewers along the way.
Raw was #1, #2, and #3 in the top 50 cable chart for the night with 0.65, 0.63, and 0.61 ratings respectively for an average of 0.63, up 0.07 from the prior week and the best number since November 27. Overall, Raw was #1 across both cable and network television. (Ratings credit: SpoilerTV)
