A full year with no million viewers for Dynamite on Wednesday nights

This week’s Dynamite marked a full year of shows not crossing the one million viewership mark on Wednesday night for All Elite Wrestling.

The last time AEW Dynamite did over one million viewers was on February 22, 2023 when it did 1,028,000 viewers and a 0.35 rating in 18-49. This week, the show had 828,000 viewers and 0.29 rating in 18-49. Both are year-over-year declines but the 0.29 is the same average the show did last year while the 828,000 is less than last year’s average.

The closest Dynamite has been to a million over the past 52 weeks was for its Grand Slam episode last September when it did 984,000 viewers. Dynamite did over a million viewers only twice in 2023, the other time on January 25 registering 1,003,000 viewers.

Dynamite has yet to hit the 900,000 mark this year so far but is expected to cross that, and even maybe the million, with the Big Business episode on March 13.
