Justin Bieber has landed himself a role in the upcoming WWE Studios movie according to Yahoo! Celebrity, news which the WWE Studios Twitter account confirmed as well.
“Yes, it’s true @justinbieber is in our upcoming film,“ the WWE Studios Twitter account said.
The troubled singer will be voicing the iconic car KITT from Knight Rider in the comedy movie which has the working title of Untitled Celebrity Death Pool.
The movie also has comedian Jim Jefferies, Ken Jeong, most notably known for his role in The Hangover trilogy, David Hasselhoff, as well as cameo appearances by several stars including Hulk Hogan.
Just today, WWE also announced that Nick Drago – a dancer and actor from Los Angeles – was the chosen one from this year’s WWE Studios casting call at WrestleMania XXX Axxess in New Orleans and is joining the cast of this movie too.
The 25th season of the popular CBS reality TV show The Amazing Race kicks off tonight and it might be of an interest for wrestling fans as TNA’s Brooke Adams and Robbie E. are part of the cast.
Known as #TheWrestlers on the show, Brooke and Robbie are the first wrestling tag team to run the race around the world which was filmed a couple of months ago.
It’s not known how far the duo went as all teams are sworn to secrecy since the show airs several months after it is taped.
The Amazing Race starts airing tonight at 8PM EST and every Friday night on CBS.
WWE released the Sting Blu-Ray and DVD this week, titled ‘The Best of Sting’ and the back cover has a big, big mistake in one of the photos.
You see, there were two Stings in WCW, the Sting that we know, portrayed by Steve Borden, and the nWo Sting, portrayed by Jeff Farmer.
In one of the photos used on the back cover, a photo of nWo Sting sits along with other photos of the real Sting, a mistake which was not picked up with whoever was in charge of artwork!
It is most likely that the next batch of production will have a different photo but if you’re one of the early buyers, you will get the fake sting on this Sting DVD.
The ‘Best of Sting’ runs for 7 hours and has three discs (or two for the Blu-Ray version) of Sting’s best matches of his career.

Following the big success of his role in Guardians of the Galaxy, Batista has landed another movie along with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kate Bosworth, Gina Carano and the one and only Robert De Niro.
According to Deadline.com, the movie is titled Bus 657 and centers around a father without the means to pay for his daughter’s medical treatment and as a last resort he teams up with a greedy co-worker – played by Batista – to rob a casino and hijack a bus full of hostages.
The action triller will be directed by Scott Mann and principal photography will start on October 13.
Batista was supposed to return to WWE soon however this new movie might delay his comeback.
It’s very rarely that when someone is brought in WWE and they have already made their name on the indy circuit, they get to keep their name. We saw it two weeks ago with Kenta – who was renamed to Hideo Itami – and now it’s Fergal Devitt’s turn.
The 33 year old Irish who has wrestled around the world as Prince Devitt got his WWE name this week. Finn Balor. Yes, Finn Balor.
Devitt signed a deal with WWE in May of 2014 but was officially unveiled as the latest member of NXT at the end of July. The reason WWE changes everyone’s name when they can is to protect their trademark. Since Prince Devitt is not a trademark owned by WWE, it would complicate issues when it comes to merchandising and marketing his name.
WWE has hired Turkish Canadian broadcaster and big wrestling fan Arda Ocal as the latest addition to the broadcast team.
The 33 year old has been working for The Weather Network based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and previously worked for The Score hosting the popular Aftermath program as well as hosting WWE Experience and Countdown to Raw.
“To quote @TheRock, “Finally….” I’m beyond thrilled to join @WWE as a broadcaster. Dreams do come true…” he wrote on his Twitter today. He also changed his name to his new WWE one, which is going to be Kyle Edwards. We guess Arda Ocal didn’t sound as cool.
WWE issued a statement to the Washington Post denying any rumors that Brock Lesnar is suffering from some sort of health issues after some websites were reporting that Lesnar might be dealing with a heart condition.
The rumors intensified when WhatCulture.com posted a story saying that it’s not normal for Lesnar to turn red and purple after barely moving in the ring. Lesnar was sweating as bad as he did at SummerSlam and some even said that he appeared to be struggling for breath.
When asked by the Washington Post about a possible issue with the health of the WWE champion, the company said that “there is no truth to the rumors about issues with Brock Lesnar’s health,” and left it at that.
Brock Lesnar was not booked for Monday’s Raw, a decision which had already been taken a few weeks before Night of Champions.
Judging by his tweets over the past day, former WWE announcer Josh Mathews has started working for TNA Wrestling.
“Tom Petty in Nashville. My boss is better than your boss. Oh yeah, I tweet again,“ tweeted Mathews, his first tweet since June 21. Mathews answered some TNA-related questions from fans and when someone mentioned that he could debut on Impact tonight, Mathews corrected him saying no, but he will be watching.
Mathews was backstage at the Impact tapings in New York the day after he got released from WWE but obviously couldn’t appear or work for the company due to his no-compete clause.
The former Tough Enough contestant had been employed by WWE since 2002 before he was released from the company on June 25 of this year.
The post-Night of Champions Monday Night Raw drew a total of 3,879,000 viewers, up just 53,000 viewers from the previous week. It is the second lowest number of viewers for 2014 so far.
Hour one did 4,000,000 viewers, followed by 3,790,000 in the second, and then up slightly to 3,847,000 for the third and final hour. (Ratings credit: PWInsider.com)

WWE will be celebrating Smackdown’s 15 year anniversary with a special episode on Friday, October 10.
Smackdown made its debut on UPN as a weekly episode on August 26, 1999, after airing a one-off special also on UPN at the end of April of that same year.
The show moved to The CW, MyNetworkTV, and now SyFy in its 15 year history and had many special shows in its run, with probably the September 13, 2001 episode topping them all.
That episode of the show, airing live after the taping on September 11 was canceled due to the terrorist attacks in the United States, was the first live sports and entertainment to be held in the U.S. after the attacks.
WWE has produced a total of 787 episodes of Smackdown as of last week.
Episode 3 of season 3 of Total Divas which was titled ‘Roadside Rumble,’ drew pretty good ratings when you take into consideration that it went head to head with Night of Champions.
The episode had 1,188,000 viewers, up from last week’s 974,000, and just below the season 3 premiere episode. (Ratings credit: PWInsider.com)

TNA took a shot at WWE yesterday on Twitter after the conclusion of the Night of Champions pay-per-view.
“While we like the #iPhone6, @SamsungMobileUS is also great,” the tweet said. “Angry with #WWENOC? You have options too. #ImpactOnSpike Wednesdays at 9/8c”
The tweet, which as you can see also used the popular #WWENOC hashtag for search purposes, was meant to WWE fans who were not happy with the Night of Champions pay-per-view who most complained about the non-finish main event. The tweet drew comparisons with the Apple and Samsung mobile devices, saying that while you can like one thing, the other product is also good.
The message did not really go viral as probably expected with only just over 600 retweets.

“Sadly, there’s always rumors about my hubby! Apparently he’s now super sick and not doing well! While we always appreciate thoughts & prayers, we are ALL GOOD IN THE HOOD,” wrote McCool. McCool also said that the two of them will be at the Hill Country Galleria in Austin, Texas, this Sunday for the CC4C micro marathon.

Michael Moody, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Bearer, passed away during the weekend and announced by his brother Daniel.
Michael and Daniel Moody both attended the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony earlier this year to honor their legendary father and accept the HOF induction on behalf of the Moody family. They also appeared at WrestleMania XXX with the other Hall of Famers.
“This is the 3rd hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through. Today my brother Michael Moody passed away. Please keep my whole family in your prayers especially Betty Moody and my nieces. I just can’t believe I’m the only one left in my family. Mom, Dad, and now Michael gone. I love you bro. Fly high,” Daniel Moody wrote on his Facebook.
WWE also issued a statement on the passing of Moody on WWE.COM, writing, “WWE is saddened to learn that Michael Moody, the son of legendary manager Paul Bearer, has passed away.
