Lana is undergoing wrist surgery today and is expected to be out of action for around 4 months.
“Hello. I’m getting my surgery on my wrist…yay,” Lana said in a video she posted on her Twitter and Facebook in a small girl voice from the hospital bed. “Wish me luck,” she then said, as she tried to wave with her broken wrist and acting all goofy afterward. “I’ll be back!”
Lana broke her wrist last weekend when she was training in the ring in Fairfax, Virginia. Lana has never wrestled on WWE television and was getting ready for the rumored mixed tag team match with Dolph Ziggler against Rusev and Lana. The program seems to be continuing with Rusev and Ziggler scheduled to wrestle each other again at Night of Champions.

The plot revolves around an FBI agent who is on the trail of bank robbers who give the stolen loot to charity. As he delves further into the investigation, the lawman discovers the trail of secrets that the owner of a bank – played by Willis – has protected.

Jane Levy. Cary Murnion and Jonathan Milott will be directing and there’s no studio behind it yet as the company will be selling the rights at the Toronto Film Festival.
Bushwik is a movie following 20-year-old Lucy (Levy) and war veteran Stupe (Bautista) during a domestic crisis as Texas tries to secede from the U.S., with NYC being used as a negotiation tool.

The “investigative work” of fans on WWE developmental talent spelled bad news for 20 year old WWE developmental talent Nhooph Al-Areebi.
The Canadian of Arab descent deleted her Twitter account after tweets from 2012 were brought up showing several racist slurs and remarks. Her Twitter username was @isntshelovely_4 and the account was deleted 24 hours after a story on Reddit’s SquaredCircle community pointed out to several tweets. Her Instagram account with the username isntshelovely416 is still active.
Al-Areebi was signed to a WWE deal in April as part of a new class of International athletes and made her NXT debut as part of Tyler Breeze’s entrance at the NXT Takeover: Unstoppable event.
Another WWE developmental talent, Zahra Schreiber, was fired after posts from her Instagram account of a couple of years back featured the Nazi symbol of the swastika and wrote that it’s “no big deal.” Schreiber has since apologized although it was a bit too late.
Monday Night Raw this week drew an average of 3,385,000 viewers, down over a whopping half a million viewers from last week’s show. Raw went head to head with college football on ESPN which did 10,585,000 viewers. With NFL season returning, WWE will face some tough competition every week and such numbers will probably become a weekly thing.
Hour one did 3,570,000 viewers, followed by 3,564,000 in the second hour, and then to a very low 3,021,000 in the third and final hour. (Ratings credit: TV By The Numbers)
Tough Enough finalist Amanda Saccomanno has been present at the last couple of television tapings and has reportedly signed a WWE developmental deal.
Amanda, who wrestled as Mandy Rose during the Tough Enough finale, came second to Sara Lee however that did not put an end to her WWE career and she made enough of an impression to have been given another opportunity.
She won the WBFF Diva Bikini Pro World Championship last year a year after entering her first fitness competition.

WWE raised a total of $213,000 during the Answer the Call campaign in benefit of the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund during SummerSlam week.

TMZ.COM is reporting that WWE Divas Paige and Alicia Fox were involved in a bar fight on Sunday night after a drunk patron kept harassing them.
The fight happened at the Supano’s Prime Steakhouse, Seafood, and Pasta on Water Street in Baltimore, Maryland, the site of yesterday’s Monday Night Raw. A waiter on duty told TMZ that a female fan kept harassing the two by taking photos and videos of them until “all hell broke loose” and “drinks flew from both corners.”
Employees from the restaurant had to intervene and separate the three and all of them were ejected from the restaurant. Oops!
Another crazy fan breached security at last night’s Raw and managed to get himself on television and walk down the ramp with WWE World Heavyweight and United States champion Seth Rollins for the main event. WWE has hired more Event staff Security to keep this from happening in the future. As Rollins was limping down the aisle, the fan jumped over the security wall from the side and walked down the ramp next to Rollins. To his credit, Rollins kept calm and upon seeing the fan was unarmed kept walking down as if nothing happened. The cameras immediately switched angles on Cena who can be seen saying “Hey…hey,” when he realized what’s happening and then he extended his arm to block O’Neil and Young. The referee left the ring and held on to the fan until security took over.
This is the second time in as many weeks someone jumped the security wall. Two weeks ago a fan at Smackdown tried to attack Dean Ambrose who was walking to the back and was tackled by the security guard who was following Ambrose.
WWE officially announced the signing of Japanese female wrestler Kanako Urai, better known to fans as Kana, to NXT. Kana will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, later this month to start her WWE journey.

The news of the signing of the 33 year old came around two weeks ago following the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn, however it was never officially announced by WWE. She was sitting at ringside at the show and WWE acknowledged her on camera.
“I’ve signed a contract with WWE. Thank you for your support in advance! I’m looking forward to joining the WWE family,” Kana wrote on Twitter earlier today.
Edge and Christian were the guests on the Stone Cold Podcast last night after Monday Night Raw and the three of them went for an hour and seven minutes discussing everything about their careers.
Austin opened the show and said that he always called Edge either Adam or Edge but always called Christian, Christian, and not by his first name of Jay. He asked what’s the protocol and Jay said that he can call him Jay, Christian, or Captain.
The three of them were last together at WrestleMania 28 although Austin remarked that at WrestleMania 30 he and Jay got drunk together and did not remember a thing the day after.
Austin tells them they went from rockstars to responsible human beings and fathers. Adam said that they have daughters six weeks apart and recounted the story how he told Jay that they’re expecting a baby and after a long silence Jay said that they’re expecting a baby too. He said that they didn’t plan on getting their wives pregnant at the same time! Adam says he now lives in Asheville, North Carolina, while Jay lives in Tampa, Florida.
Adjusting to normal life after getting out of the business was a bit tough as Jay says the it was a bit of a culture shock not having the same routine and didn’t know what to do with himself for most of the time.
Adam said that he was ready to hang up the boots and retired at the age of 37. He still had a year left on his deal when he retired and was planning on leaving anyway but it came faster than he expected. The Haven television producers saw his retirement speech and got him the gig on the show. He flew to Halifax for one episode and one episode turned into forty.
Austin said he had a serious question for them and got out two kazoos and asked them to play his theme song. All three laughed and then Jay reached from underneath the desk and pulled a little cowboy hat and guitar and told Austin they would do it as long as he sings Kumbaya for them in a retake of the hilarious angle with Vince McMahon and Kurt Angle several years ago. Adam and Jay start playing Austin’s theme with the kazoo and then Austin started singing Kumbaya with both guests clapping along.
The discussion turned to tag teams and Austin said that with the Dudley Boys back it turned up a notch. “They went where they went but this is home,” Austin said. Adam noted that The New Day is on fire and enjoys watching tag team wrestling when done right and he’s excited again for the WWE tag team division.
Austin then explains the “don’t look at me” game that the three of them used to pull on each other and recounted how once during Raw when Edge and Christian were tying him to the Undertaker’s cross, Jay told Austin “don’t look at me” and Austin flipped for getting him during one of the most important segments.
Both Adam and Jay said that when growing up their favorite wrestler was Hulk Hogan. Austin played a little “newly weds” game and asked Jay what is Adam’s favorite arena to wrestle in. He said Rosemont Horizon in Chicago and Adam said it’s correct and it was Jay’s favorite one too. He then asked Adam what Jay’s favorite match was and he guessed the Christian vs Randy Orton match but he was wrong as Jay said that his favorite was vs Alberto Del Rio during his World title run. Adam said his favorite is against the Undertaker at WrestleMania. They both called themselves as professional wrestlers rather than sports entertainers.
Discussion turned into the most embarrassing moment of their wrestling career. Adam said that he took a bulldog from the top rope and almost “bacon stripped” his white tights on pay-per-view. Jay said his came during the Invasion pay-per-view where he was supposed to jump of Adam’s back and over the top rope and on to two guys but he slipped cause of the sweat on Adam’s back and completely missed his landing.
Austin showed some video footage from TLC matches and Adam said that at WrestleMania 16 they had a blank canvas and no restraints. Jay went through the process of building a TLC match rather than having a car crash and Adam said TLC matches are always like tornadoes in a trailer park. Jay said that they were always willing to take the risk for the reward as the TLC matches put them on the map and catapulted them, often stealing the show. Austin mentioned Bubba Ray, Devon, Matt and Jeff Hardy as the perfect opponents or them. Jay said that the next day after TLC matches it was awful as they were very sore.
The host then asked about the Sexton Hardcastle gimmick that Adam originally had and when he told him to describe who Edge was at the time, Adam said he had no idea and that was the hardest part of the gimmick. He said originally the character was pitched to recite poetry wearing leather pants and a shirt. He then mentioned that Gangrel came along and it was the best thing for them as part of the Brood.
Austin said it was good to have them back here and asked if they miss it. Adam said he doesn’t yearn for it, but it’s good in bursts and it’s always nice to go home to the baby.
Adam said that they are the only tag team champions to have become World champions as well. He was surprised when he got the call for the Hall of Fame as it was just a year after he retired but he was not going to turn it down. He said he got calls from Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels who both said he deserved it. When Austin asked Jay if he feels he should be in the Hall of Fame as well, he said he’d like to think so but it’s not his call. Both Austin and Adam said that Jay should be in the Hall of Fame.
Michael PS Hayes came up in the next segment as he was very instrumental in their tag team careers. Adam said he thinks Hayes saw a little “Freebirds” in them. They both put over Hayes as someone who helped them a lot and listened to anything they pitched and said that that is another guy who should be in the Hall of Fame.
Austin brought up the wrestlers court, something that both Adam and Jay had to go through at one point. Apparently there were rumors that both of them had dinner at a head writer’s house which came out looking at being brown-nosers. The wrestlers court occurs backstage when someone breaks etiquette and “charges” are brought against the offenders. The Undertaker is the judge and JBL acted as the prosecutor. Adam said they both had a good defense story and went in and told everyone they had a book deal, leaving everyone watching the spectacle with their mouths open. They took out a mock cover of the book which was titled “Edge and Christian: Ass kissing our road to the top.” The good thing about wrestlers court is that the judge could be bought and the two went out and bought Taker a bunch of stuff as their settlement. When he saw the items, Taker told both of them that, “there’s not gonna be a blemish on your record, boys!”
Adam recounted the call he got from Vince McMahon telling him that his career was done. He said he didn’t know it was bad to that extent and Vince told him it was one of the most difficult calls he had to make. Adam said he felt sorry for himself for a bit but then again a big weight was lifted off his shoulder. Adam said Vince wanted to make sure that he heard the news from him rather than anyone else.
Jay said that the biggest impact Vince left on him was his dedication to the company and the fact that this is his life and does not get much sleep. “His work ethic is infectious,” Jay said, adding that when he had no clue what he was going to do when he went into singles competition, Vince was there to pump him up and give him support.
The two talked about their exit strategy from the business. Adam said he didn’t have any but then Haven came along and Austin said that Jay went to make a cameo on Haven, the show that Adam had a part on, and the show got canceled!
Jay went on to discuss how the ‘What?’ chant started. Austin left a voice message to Christian as he had no reception where he was and there was a bunch of ‘What?’ after every sentence. He then was backstage once and he heard Austin saying it during an in-ring promo and the rest is history.
When asked if they have any regrets, Adam said that he has no regrets at all and he has nothing to complain about. Jay said his only regret was participating in this podcast which got a good laugh but then said that like Adam, he has no regrets about his wrestling career. Adam said he just wants to be remembered and if fans put him and Jay in the same category as the Hart Foundation, the British Bulldogs, etc, then it’s mission accomplished. Jay said that no matter how many people were in the stands they gave it their all and jokingly said that he wants to be remembered as being a better wrestler than Adam.
Austin then asked to join them for a five second pose to finish the show as the podcast wrapped up.

The regular Raw video starts off and we go live to 1st Mariner Arena! Michael Cole acknowledges us from Baltimore, Maryland, then the music of the WWE World Heavyweight and United States Champion Seth Rollins plays. He struts out to the ring and takes the microphone. He declares “Night Of Champions will be my night,” and retain his championships and reclaim his statue. “I am no longer ‘the future’ of WWE, but I am ‘the man.’”

He asks for the lights to be turned on, which show him in the parking lot, in front of a trash compactor. He pushes the statue into the machine, and it is crushed! Rollins goes ballistic back in the ring, grabs his championships, and poses on the announce table to close the show.
End Of Raw.
Reporter’s Rumblings
This was a pretty good show, both verbal and action-wise. It definitely continued to build Night Of Champions very well!
Excellence: matches between Banks/Paige, Sheamus/Orton (even though they’ve gone at it already and I was getting tired, tonight’s bout was really well put-together), Miz/Cesaro (despite the finish), and Ryback/Rollins (for most of it).
Glad the Summer/Rusev/Dolph interaction was short; I’m still not liking this “feud” and want it to end soon, so was happy that it wasn’t drawn out.
Absolutely loved the backstage segment with Rollins, The New Day, Dudleys, and Edge/Christian. That was my favorite of the night and just plain entertaining. All of them have charisma, and deserve to be where they are today (I’m speaking mainly of Rollins/New Day/Dudleys, as Edge/Christian are retired), and should be getting even more pushes later.
Rollins on the mike is still gold; Charlotte did very well too with speaking, as she has not done much since re-debuting on Raw. Glad they went with her taking on Nikki next week, for suspense to see if Nikki’s reign will last or not.
Sting still has it as far as personality/appeal. He is holding up his end of the bargain in this feud and matching/antagonizing Rollins very well. Greatly looking forward to their match at Night Of Champions!
Bogus: didn’t like the finish between Cesaro/Miz; thought it should’ve been decisive on one side. The main event was nothing thrilling, despite the star power. I felt they had Cena be controlled way too long and it should’ve been a little more even, particularly at the start.
Really could’ve done without The Matadores and Ascension again. Both those matches should’ve been replaced by proms from Dudleys and Roman/Ambrose, respectively, to further along their storylines. Hopefully, this is also the end of Los Matadores, as they never have gone as far as they wanted and resonated with the fans.
I will be away at the end of the week for a vacation, so I won’t be reporting Smackdown! this week. Until Raw next week, where we will be less than a week away from Night Of Champions, Be Excellent Wrestling-Online Readers and Fans!
Zahra Schreiber, the girlfriend of Seth Rollins who was released from her WWE developmental deal last week, spoke about her release for the first time in a post on Instagram.
Schreiber, who actually made her debut just days before at an NXT non-televised live event, said it was her dream job and she’s grateful and fortunate to have had her time with WWE.
“Last week WWE made a decision to release me from my contract due to posts I made on social media years ago, long before I was ever employed by them. I understand why that decision was made, but it broke my heart and my spirit,” she wrote. She added that she doesn’t want her mistakes to reflect WWE as a company and the responsibility was just her own.
She apologized to everyone who she might have offended by her posts and said that she is in, “no way, shape or form an anti-Semite, nor do I condone anti-Semitism.” She said the photos displayed in her room were nothing more than a story although she understands how it was insensitive and in poor taste.
Schreiber said that the media did not pick up her previous photos where she was at the Dachau Concentration Camp in Germany and how she she noted how disturbed she was by the entire place. “Unfortunately, social media rarely notices positivity, and can be an evil place where opinion is easily manipulated to fit the circumstance.”
She hoped that those who she has offended can forgive her and all she can do now is learn and move forward trying to be better every day. “Everything I’ve worked for and dreamt of is gone. In an instant, I lost it all. But I can’t let this define my life. I know who I am as a person. I’m as human as anyone else.”
Since Lana made her debut she has been limited at doing valet/manager duties and has not wrestled one single match so far on WWE television. The injury she sustained yesterday was part of her training to become an in-ring performer.
“Every since I have debuted in @wwe I have continued to go to @wwenxt & come hours early before live events to train & learn how to fight,” Lana wrote on a post on Instagram. “I wanted my first match to make the #WWE Universe proud.”
Lana posted a photo of her arm in a sling, holding her wrist after she suffered the Colles’ fracture. “My wrist fracture is proof that WWE & professional wrestling is not fake but very real. This is a bump in the road & can be discouraging but for every person that has believed in me and has ever chanted #WeWantLana I will keep going.”
The popular WWE Diva thanked her fans for chanting “We Want Lana” and promised to share every part of her journey to her first WWE match. “You all give me the strength to be brave. I will continue to give everything I have to becoming one of the greatest women in WWE & entertainment.”
WWE Diva Lana suffered a wrist injury while working out in the ring before a WWE Live Event in Fairfax, Virginia, this past weekend according to a story on WWE.com.
“During a training session [Sunday] afternoon, Lana had sustained an injury in the ring. We attended to her and noticed that she had a deformity of her wrist,” said Dr. Scott Amann. “We obtained X-rays which showed a Colles’ fracture and [we put her] in a splint. Most of these Colles’ fractures do better surgically than non-surgically, especially in younger patients. Most likely this will require an operation, which will take her out of active competition for approximately four months.”
Lana is currently involved in an angle with Dolph Ziggler, Rusev, and Summer Rae and the plan was to take this to a mixed tag team match between all four. Lana is currently one of the most popular WWE Divas on the roster.
