Disney’s Moana featuring Dwayne Johnson looking to break records

It’s a great Thanksgiving for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the rest of the cast of Moana as the Disney animated movie had a record-breaking pre-Thanksgiving opening day with an estimated $15.6 million, topping the previous record of $15.1 million set by Frozen according to Box Office Mojo.

Moana currently has a 97% rating on RottenTomatoes and an “A” CinemaScore from those who saw it yesterday and the preview on Tuesday. Industry insiders are predicting that Moana will break Frozen’s five-day haul over Thanksgiving weekend.
