Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson uploaded a three-and-a-half minute video on his social media addressing the death of Benjamin “Pac” Satterley.

Shot inside his gym, Johnson said it hurts his heart to do this but he wanted to send his love, condolences, support, and mana to the Satterley family for enduring the loss of their loved one.

“For those who are watching this who don’t know who Benjamin Satterley, who he is, he was a professional wrestler known in the WWE as Neville,” Johnson said. “I’ve met him a few times, shook his hand, and most recently known as PAC, PAC in AEW, All Elite Wrestling, and he passed away. Sadly, young, too young, I believe he was 40, and I’m just so sorry to hear this news.”

Johnson said that professional wrestling is global, and as much as global WWE is and as much as “AEW is growing into this phenomenal wrestling company,” professional wrestlers are a tight-knit group no matter where you’re wrestling around the world.

“We all share the same DNA, and that is our love and our passion for the squared circle and to perform for audiences around the world, and we’re a little crazy, and that’s okay,” he continued. “But when we lose one of our own, it hurts, and when they’re young and so insanely talented, it really, it really f*cking hurts, and especially when a life is robbed, and you don’t get that opportunity to live a full life, and I’ve lost a lot of friends, as we’d know.

The Rock sent his condolences to his friend, Tony Khan and the entire AEW locker room as well as his colleagues in WWE who knew him well.

“God bless you, Benjamin, and thank you for the memories, and thank you for entertaining the masses, and as I like to say, thank you for moving the crowd, and as we say in wrestling, thank you for the house,” The Rock concluded before telling the Satterley family to stay strong.
