Tony Khan not interested in TNA with a $40 million valuation

In a conference call with reporters yesterday, AEW President Tony Khan was asked if he would be interested in buying TNA Wrestling if it went up for sale.

Asked what the rumored price is, Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics said “$40 million” and Khan immediately came back with a negative answer.

“No,” he said, also laughing at the figure.

Khan said that while TNA has value, any potential acquisition would have to make sense price-wise and $40 million wouldn’t be that.

There are rumors that Anthem will soon put up the promotion for sale, asking for $40 to $50 million plus debt, making the sale a bit difficult.

Khan has only purchased one promotion since launching AEW and that is Ring of Honor from Sinclair Broadcasting in 2022.
