AEW officially announces the signing of Mina Shirakawa

Japanese star Mina Shirakawa is now officially part of All Elite Wrestling after AEW President Tony Khan announced her signing last night.

“She’s challenging for the AEW Women’s World Title at #AEWDoN THIS SUNDAY, and after her impressive win on #AEWDynamite + her altercation with World Champion Timeless Toni Storm tonight, now it’s official: @MinaShirakawa is ALL ELITE,” Khan wrote on X.

Shirakawa has moved to the United States from Japan after departing Stardom at the end of March.

The 37-year-old was expected to sign with AEW considering her past history with the promotion and the close working relationship with Stardom.
