Toni Storm pulled from planned No Holds Barred match on Dynamite

The planned Toni Storm vs Marina Shafir No Holds Barred match at last night’s Dynamite did not take place.

Minutes before the show started, AEW published footage on social media of Storm lying in a pool of blood in the locker room with Mina Shirakawa checking up on her.

When Dynamite kicked off, Tony Schiavone announced that Storm was not cleared to compete and the backstage attack was mentioned before the replacement match took place.

It was Storm’s close friend Shirakawa who replaced her in the No Holds Barred match, a match which the Japanese star won.

At this point it is unclear why Storm was pulled out of the match and what injury she is suffering from.

The angle with Ronda Rousey from Sunday was not followed up and the former WWE champion did not appear on TV.
