John Cena to appear at Smackdown’s Fastlane pay-per-view

16-time champion John Cena will be appearing at the Fastlane pay-per-view on March 11, a Smackdown-only show which is the last stop before WrestleMania 34.

Cena’s involvement is listed only as a “special guest appearance” and does not specify that he will be wrestling. The man who is rumored to be winning the Royal Rumble is a “free agent” after moving from Smackdown and can appear on both brands. Cena has been confirmed to be appearing on the Raw 25th anniversary show later this month.

The planned main event for Fastlane, revealed by the Nationwide Arena website itself, is Styles vs Zayn vs Owens vs Orton vs Nakamura in a five-way match for the WWE title.

Tickets for Fastlane are currently on sale at Ticketmaster.com.
