John Cena is back in theaters with the movie ACME vs Coyote based on the Looney Tunes characters.

The movie has quite a history, as it was first commissioned by Warner Bros. Discovery but then in 2023, it was shelved. In 2025, another company picked up the rights for distribution, putting the movie back on schedule.

ACME vs Coyote features Will Forte, Lana Condor, Tone Bell, Luis Guzman, Martha Kelly, PJ Bryne, Kenneth Choi, and John Early in the live action cast, with Cena playing the character of Buddy Crane, the ACME Corporation lawyer.

The plot for the film has Wile E. Coyote hiring a struggling human lawyer to sue the ACME Corporation for decades of catastrophic product failures during his attempts to catch the Road Runner.

The movie was released in theaters nationwide yesterday.
