Rich Brennan promoted to Smackdown broadcast team

Smackdown has a new voice and that voice is Rich Brennan, replacing Tom Phillips.

Brennan is the lead NXT commentator and it is not known if he will be pulling double duty as well on future NXT shows. Joining Brennan on the Smackdown announce team are veteran Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jimmy Uso, who seems to have gotten this part-time gig until his twin brother Jey recovers from his injury.

Brennan, real name Rich Bocchini, does commentary for other WWE B-shows Superstars and Main Event.
