Rhyno wins Michigan House Republican primary, election in November

WWE Superstar Rhyno won the Republican primary for Michigan’s 15th House District seat yesterday, beating dos opponent by 56 votes according to MLive.com. Rhyno, real name Terrance Gerin, will now be on the November ballot and will face Abdullah Hammoud from the Democratic party with one of them getting the nearly $72,000-a-year job.

“I understand some people might be hesitant thinking it’s a gimmick,” Rhyno said, “but my friends and family know my love for this country, my passion for politics and my love for helping people out. If elected, that becomes my number one priority.”

The former ECW champion returned to the main roster last week on Smackdown, goring Heath Slater.
