Former TNA champion Bobby Roode will make his first proper NXT televised appearance during tonight’s episode on the WWE Network. Roode made his first appearance at NXT Takeover: Dallas and then joined the NXT crew for the tour in the United Kingdom. At NXT Takeover: The End he made another appearance, walking in William Regal’s office.

Also making his NXT return is Hideo Itami. Itami has been wrestling at non-televised events however he has been kept off NXT television since he was written out of storylines in May 2015. Itami was supposed to be part of the NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable triple threat match to determine the number one contender for the NXT title but was “attacked” outside the arena to explain why he wouldn’t be participating in the match and writing him off TV in the process.
