Nick Khan hints at WWE sale within the next three months

Appearing on CNBC’s Squawk Box to discuss WWE’s Q4 2022 earnings report, WWE Chief Executive Officer Nick Khan hinted that a WWE sale could be happening within the next three months.

Khan said that they got a “warm reception” from those who are interested in their business and are looking for a deal before the negotiations for the TV rights start progressing.

The WWE CEO noted that the company is still “bullish” about Comcast being in the running for WWE after one of the hosts mentioned that a source said that Comcast wasn’t interested in acquiring WWE “at this point.”

The other three companies mentioned during the show by the hosts were Netflix, Amazon, and Endeavor.

CNBC later said in a news story that McMahon returning and his potential involvement post-sale was “an early sticking point” in preliminary meetings.
