Matt Hardy to work GCW shows, says fans will go nuts when they see his opponent

Matt Hardy will be working multiple dates for GCW and will make his debut for the promotion in a couple of weeks at the August 2 show.

The show, Now and Forever, will take place in Cleveland, Ohio, on the eve of WWE’s SummerSlam.

“This is more than just one appearance for me in GCW. So we’re going to do a multi-show deal, and it’s going to be exciting,” Matt said on his latest episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast.

Matt added that once people will realize who will be wrestling on the show, they “are going to go even more nuts.”

Hardy noted that this is going to lead into some other stuff which is going to be really cool.

“I’m very much looking forward to it. And, surprisingly, I was pretty pumped about how positive the feedback was. Seems like it’s going to be a win-win so far,” he said.

Although lately a regular with TNA Wrestling, Matt is a free agent, just like his brother Jeff.
