Monday Night Raw TV report for 10/10/2022

Raw Season Premier tonight. Corey Graves welcomes us to Raw and introduces his new partner, Kevin Patrick.

The Bloodline is out first. Roman calls out Jey for being a fool and being the loudest in the Bloodline. Sami interrupts and Heyman goes nuts, asking Sami if he’s crazy since you don’t interrupt the Tribal Chief. Sami asks Roman to handle the situation.

Sami tells Jey they all love him. But his actions as of late have not been very Ucey and then tells Jey to be cool. Do you think you can be cool? Jey asks if this is a joke as Sami tries to calm down.

Matt Riddle comes out and challenges Roman to a championship match. Roman asks the crowd who cheered yeah and Roman goes NAH. Then he says if you won’t step up maybe one of your Bloodline will. Sami then steps up and will take on Riddle tonight.

They show a recap of Extreme Rules from Saturday.

Austin Theory VS. Johnny Gargano

Gargano hit the DDT from outside the ring for the win.

Winner: Johnny Gargano

Rey Mysterio VS. Chad Gable

During the match, Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio come out. Rey was able to hit the 619 and the splash on Gable for the win.

Winner: Rey Mysterio

After the match, Dominik confronts Rey begging him to hit him. Ripley blocks the exit and Dominik then slaps Rey in the face. Rey hits Priest who had just arrived and did a hurricanrana to Finn who flies into Dominik. Dominik again begs for Rey to hit him and Rey, who appears to be crying, is asking Dominik why? Segment ends with Ripley holding Rey over the second rope and Dominik hitting Rey with a 619.

Back from break, the Judgement Day stands in the middle of the ring. They brag about making Edge say I Quit Saturday. Balor then turns to AJ Styles who comes to the ring. AJ says he is not there to argue with Finn and he agrees with him and he finally realizes he has been alone for far too long and he needs friends, he needs family and knelt down in front of Finn and Finn grabs and hugs AJ. As they stand there in a hug, AJ looked up and says he wasn’t talking about him. The music hits and Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows come to the ring to help AJ. A fight ensued, Priest runs, Ripley pulls Dominik over the rail and run, and Finn is trapped by the Styles, Gallows and Anderson but is able to run from the ring before they got to him.

Bayley VS. Candice LeRae

Bayley went to slam Candice into the mat but Candice reverses and pins Bayley.

Winner: Candice Lerae

After the match, Damage Control attack Candice and Bianca Belair comes out for the save, but Damage Control lay both women out in the ring.

The Miz is shown walking in the back and runs into Maryse who has a gift for him for his special Birthday celebration coming up and it was a baseball bat. Miz said he feels this is a bad idea because you know who will end up there and Maryse says she worked hard on this celebration, and it is happening. They kiss and start walking.

Maryse is now in the ring and introduces the Miz. As Miz is opening a gift, he pulls off a table cloth and revealed two workout balls with the Miz’s picture on them. He goes for another gift it seemed to be heavy or stuck on the table, Miz rips it and reveals Dexter Lumis. Miz threw the box back on his head and swung the bat but Dexter had moved by that time. Dexter enters the ring and goes to choke out the Miz, Maryse tried to help but the Miz squirming kicked her into the cake. Miz was able to escape and run and Maryse was left in the ring with Dexter but then ran. Dexter went over, picked up the cake knife and stabbed the balls Maryse just gave to the Miz. Dexter then walked over and cut a piece of cake and ate it.

Omos VS. Robert Adams & Joseph Torres

Omos squashes the local tag team

Winner: Omos

They show us the return of Bray Wyatt from Saturday’s Extreme Rules.

Bobby Lashley came to the ring first and was talking to the crowd and calls out Seth Rollins but gets Brock Lesnar instead! Brock says good evening, Brooklyn and then walked over and stood in front of Lashley and said good Evening, Bobby Lashley. Then he F5s Lashley and a back suplex then the Kimura lock. Brock leaves smiling and fist bumping the fans.

As we come back from break, there are officials begging Bobby Lashley to go in the back and get checked. Seth Rollins comes out and screams he wants the match now. Rollins’ ribs are wrapped up from Saturday. Rollins said he is a disgrace to the US title and America and Lashley stormed to the ring.

Bobby Lashley VS. Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the United States Championship

Lashley was able to score a spear but could not cover Rollins and two stomps later Rollins pins the injured champion.

Winner and New United States Champion: Seth “Freakin” Rollins

Byron Saxton catches up to Bobby Lashley and Lashley says he is pissed off and challenges Brock Lesnar for a match next week on Raw.

Elias is announced to return next week.

Matt Riddle VS. Sami Zayn

Riddle was able to hit the RKO for the win.

Winner: Matt Riddle

As Riddle was heading to the back DX Music hits.

D-Generation X members Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg and X Pac arrive in the DX Jeep and head to the ring and have fun with the crowd as they close out the show posing.
