Monday Night Raw TV report for 05/13/2024

Arena: Bon Secours Wellness Arena
City: Greenville, SC

We see Gunther and Kofi Kingston arriving and they will face each other in the King of the Ring tournament tonight.

Drew McIntyre is next to arrive and immediately heads out to the ring. Drew says Punk isn’t going to come to a place like Greenville and said people that cheer him are stupid. Drew said the number one thing on his list is the World championship and is putting the paper champion Damian Priest on notice.

Damian Priest then comes out. Damian told Drew to say something to someone’s face. Drew told Priest he doesn’t deserve to be champion. Priest told Drew to look in the mirror and stop blaming his issues on everyone else.

Priest told Drew if he wants a shot at the title once his arm is healed, he got it.

Iyo Sky VS. Shayna Baszler in a Queen of the Ring quarter final match

Basler attacked Iyo before the match started. Iyo was able to hit Shayna with the meteora and then the moonsault to advance in the tournament.

Winner: Iyo Sky

Jackie Redmond got in the ring to interview Iyo after her win.

Carlito was talking to Dominik, Finn and JD. Priest comes in and Dom tells Priest it’s time to work with Carlito. Priest said if the boys want to work with him fine, but he isn’t welcome here and tells Carlito he does not trust him. Carlito says maybe one day, as he walks away.

Chad Gable tells Otis he has Sami Zayn and no worm move and Akira Tozawa has an opportunity against Big Bronson Reed and no dancing. They walk away from Maxxine and Ivy Nile tells her she doesn’t have to take it and Chad comes back and yells at Maxxine to go train or something and told Ivy to stop wasting her time on Taylor not so Swift over there.

Cathy Kelly interviewed Kofi Kingston about his match against Gunther.

Lilian Garcia is announced and will announce the next match.

R-Truth again talking to Adam Pearce and The Miz said talk to me before you talk about putting our titles on the line. Kiana James comes in and is ready to prove she is ready.

Kofi Kingston VS. Gunther in a King of the Ring quarter final match

Kofi attacked Gunther on the outside before the bell. Kofi had to tap out to the to the Boston Crab after kicking out of a power bomb/pin and Gunther advances.

Winner: Gunther

Jackie Redmond interviewed Lyra Valkyria. Becky Lynch came in and thanked her for helping her last week. Liv Morgan then came in and asked her if Becky was always such a bitch. Lyra says why don’t you ask her yourself and Becky is back and punches Liv in the mouth and says she isn’t the one that’s scared of a face-to-face fight, bitch.

Kofi Kingston is shown walking backstage and Karrion Kross stopped him and told him tough loss but there is always time to turn things around. Xavier Woods then brings Kofi some ice.

Big Bronson Reed VS. Akira Tozawa

Reed hits the Tsunami and picks up the win.

Winner: Big Bronson Reed

Chad Gable gets in the ring and starts yelling at Tozawa.

Cathy Kelly tries to interview Gunther as he and Ludwig Kaiser were walking in the back. Kaiser says Gunther does not have to prove himself to anyone around here. Kaiser then said if Sheamus is blaming his loss last week on him, he will embarrass him next week.

Jackie Redmond is with Adam Pearce and New Catch Republic come in and thank Adam for being on Raw and Pearce is going to have a fatal four way and the winners will get a chance at the tag team titles. It will be New Catch Republic, AOP, The Creed Brothers and Finn Balor & JD McDonagh.

Jackie then asked about Adam leaving Bron Breakker out of the King of the Ring tournament and Adam says he didn’t want to throw Bron in the deep end and Bron comes in and says he wouldn’t be in the deep end, all his opponents would have been in the deep end with him and he should have been in the damn tournament and walked back out. Adam just says wow.

Zoey Stark VS. Lyra Valkyria in a Queen of the Ring quarter final match

Valkyria reversed Stark and hit the Night wave and advanced to the semifinals.

Winner: Lyra Valkyria

Jackie Redmond got in the ring and interviewed Lyra.

Main Event Jey Uso says he is ready to beat Ilja tonight and Gunther next week on his way to being King of the Ring.

Sami Zayn VS. Otis

Otis missed the splash off the second rope and Sami hit Otis with the Helluva Kick and scored the pin.

Winner: Sami Zayn

After the match Gable got in the ring and yelled at Otis and kicked Otis. Sami came back in and hit Gable with the suplex into the ropes.

Gable and Otis reunited in the aisle and Gable blamed Otis and slapped him in the face.

Braun Strowman wishes The Creed Brothers luck and JD McDonagh comes in and tells Braun to consider himself warned because he got into Judgement Day business.

Dakota Kai VS. Becky Lynch

Becky locked in the disarmer and Damage Control jumped in the ring and attacked Becky.

Winner by DQ: Becky Lynch

Lyra Valkyria comes in and helps Becky as Liv Morgan snuck in and throws Becky into the ring post.

Jackie Redmond interviewed Ilja Dragunov and he said he is here to make an impact. Ilja says not many have beaten Gunther, but he has and it’s not over and he turned, and Gunther was standing there and just looked at him and grinned and walked away.

Finn Balor & JD McDonagh VS. AOP VS. The Creed Brothers VS. New Catch Republic

Carlito comes out and hits Pete Dunne with a backstabber on the announce table and JD rolls Dunne into the ring where Balor was waiting to hit Coup De Grace and pinned Dunne.

Winners: Finn Balor & JD McDonagh

Ilja Dragunov was getting ready for his match and Ricochet comes in and wishes him luck and says it was one heck of a match and next time the outcome will be different.

Dominik and Priest were talking when JD, Finn and Carlito walk in and Carlito goes I get it I am not wanted, and Priest said what you did out there was cool. Priest then asked him if he can handle business and he said yes and Priest said good because we don’t roll with cowards, don’t let us down amigo.

Main Event Jey Uso VS. Ilja Dragunov in a King of the Ring quarter final match

After a great back and forth bout, Uso was able to hit the spear then the splash off the top rope and pin Ilja.

Winner: Main Event Jey Uso

After the match Gunther comes out and stares at Jey as Jey continues to celebrate and YEET!
