NOAH’s Naomichi Marufuji to do Japanese commentary at SummerSlam

Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Naomichi Marufuji will be serving as a special guest commentator on the Japanese feed of WWE SummerSlam which will air on the ABEMA streaming platform.

The announcement was made by NOAH’s X account saying that Marufuji will be doing the live commentary for the show. He will not be in Cleveland as localized commentary is done in studio in each country.

Marufuji recently wrestled AJ Styles at the NOAH Destination 2024 event, a match which Styles won. NXT’s Josh Briggs and Tavion Heights will soon travel to Japan as well to wrestle in the N1 Victory tournament for NOAH, which is the equivalent of the G1 Climax tournament NJPW holds every year.
