Sky Blue suffered an ankle injury last night on Collision and her match against Hikaru Shida was stopped by the referee.

The injury occurred when Shida performed a crossbody from the second rope to the outside where Blue was ready to catch her, but Shida landed on Blue’s right ankle.

Blue immediately clutched her ankle and the referee was quick to notice the injury, followed protocol, and quickly halted the match.

Blue had to be carried to the back as she couldn’t put on any weight on her injured ankle. AEW President Tony Khan later said that she was being evaluated by doctors backstage.
