AEW’s Triangle of Madness crash the Stardom 5 Star Grand Prix Tournament press conference

AEW Women’s champion Thekla, flanked by Skye Blue and Julia Hart, crashed the Stardom’s press conference earlier today in Japan while the promotion was discussing the 5 Star Gran Prix Tournament with the press.

The press conference interruption furthers the feud Thekla has with her former employer.

Hart also announced that she would be replacing the injured Be a Priestley in the Stardom tournament, telling them to consider it a “gift” from AEW.

Thekla then said that that three of them, known as the Triangle of Madness, will take on God’s Eye, the faction featuring Ami Sohrei, Hina, and Lady C for the Artist of Stardom title. This match will take place on Saturday, July 18, the opening night of the tournament.

“Stardom is gonna be more dead than ever. The Triangle of Madness is going to challenge for Artist of Stardom Championship, and Julia Hart is going to destroy Five Star tournament. So be there or be square,” the AEW Women’s champion said, before inviting Stardom President Taro Okada to come as well as they have a “present” for him.
