Monday Night Raw TV report for 09/19/2022

Bobby Lashley VS. Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the United States Championship

Rollins goes for the stomp and Lashley just stayed on his hands and knees and held off the stomp. After more great back and forth action, Rollins missed a corkscrew moonsault and Lashley hooks him in the hurt lock. Rollins kicks Lashley with a low blow but Matt Riddle’s music hits and he runs down to ringside. Rollins got distracted allowing Lashley to hit Rollins with a spear for the win.

Winner and Still WWE United States Champion: Bobby Lashley

They show a white limousine pulling into the garage and out of it comes Bayley and the new Women’s Tag Team champions Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai.

Damage Control then comes out with Bayley driving a golf cart. They started talking about Bianca Belair and Asuka and Alex Bliss who made their way to the ring and Bayley ended up getting hit and challenged to a match by Alexa Bliss.

Austin Theory VS. Kevin Owens

Theory attacks Owens before the bell. Owens gets in the ring and screams ring the bell and goes right after Theory. Theory goes to get the Money in the Bank briefcase, but Johnny Gargano took it from him and Owens was able to secure the victory with a pop up powerbomb.

Winner: Kevin Owens

The Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland and Butch) VS. The Street Profits

After a great match the Brutes get the victory.

Sarah interviews Rey Mysterio backstage.

In the back Johnny Gargano ran into the Alpha Academy and Kevin Owens and Alpha Academy challenged them to a match next week.

Rey Mysterio & Matt Riddle VS. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest)

Prior to the match, the Judgment Day tried to talk but when Dominik was handed the microphone, he was booed so loudly no one could hear him. Balor got the microphone back and Riddle’s music hit.

Interference by Ripley…Rey taking his mind off the match looking at Dominik at ringside and Rollins knocked down Riddle outside toward the end of the match. Rey got hit as soon as he got back in the ring and Balor hit the Coup de Grace on Rey for the win.

Winners: The Judgment Day

MizTV is next with special guest Dexter Lumis. As Miz kept trying to coax Lumis out, behind him there was a knife cutting a hole in the ring. Lumis then appears out of the hole in the ring and pulls the Miz into the hole, but Miz got away and then Lumis grabbed Ciampa who hit him and knocked Lumis down. Then Lumis appears out of the hole again and Ciampa and The Miz run out of the ring.

In the back they interview the Judgment Day and announce next week Damian Priest will face Matt Riddle in a one-on-one match. After the interview, Finn Balor confronts AJ Styles about their friendship and AJ pointed out he wants nothing to do with Judgment Day because he isn’t turning his back on all the people he cares about like Dominik did. Finn says remember and he put the old “Too Sweet” hand symbol up and walks away leaving AJ looking confused.

Alexa Bliss VS. Bayley

After Dakota Kai got the referee’s attention, Iyo Sky knocked Bliss off the top rope and Bayley hit the Rose Plant for the win.

Winner: Bayley

After the match Damage Control beat down Asuka and Bianca Belair and Bayley then challenges Bianca for the Raw Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules.
