Monday Night Raw TV report for 05/30/2022

Arena: Wells Fargo Center
City: Des Moines, IA

Raw opens on Memorial Day with Becky Lynch coming to the ring. Lynch says she has been against all odds before and was interrupted by Asuka, and then by Bianca Belair. Bianca says she is 100% sure the championship isn’t going anywhere.

Lynch then attacks Belair, but Belair got her up in the air and then falls onto the apron and Asuka butts her off the apron.

Asuka VS. Bianca Belair

Lynch back on commentary. Action spills out of the ring both ladies are down as we go to break. Back from break, Asuka ends up out of the ring and Lynch making fun of her for apparently hurting her knee. Belair throws Asuka back inside then goes after Lynch verbally. Gets in the ring and gets nailed by Asuka but only a 2 count. Belair goes for a moonsault off the handstand, but Asuka moves out of the way and hooks Belair attempting an arm bar type maneuver, but Belair overpowers Asuka and holds her down for the 3 count.

After the match, Lynch attacks Belair and throws her out of the ring and then sets her sights on Asuka. Belair gets back in the ring and Lynch slams her too. Lynch backs up the ramp with Belair and Asuka struggling to get back to their feet in the ring.

Winner: Bianca Belair

The Mysterios and Ezekiel VS. Kevin Owens and Alpha Academy

Cody Rhodes is out next. Cody says he has always been a fan of Seth Rollins as well as his dad, who told him that Seth has all the qualities to be a generational star. And now he got the call to get his second chance in WWE against Seth Rollins and he had to come out of it with a win. Cody says he is going to be locked in Hell in a Cell with Seth Rollins and wants to hurt Rollins.

Seth Rollins comes out through the crowd laughing, Seth says its simple, “I don’t like you”.

Seth says, “You left WWE 6 years ago because you weren’t good enough and you and your little friends tried to tear down what I was helping build and when that didn’t work out you came back. The prodigal son returns home. Well, you can’t smash the throne and come back and try to take that throne back from me.”

Cody then says nothing is stopping this from happening now and Rollins said let’s go and acted like he was heading to the ring but said he will see Cody Sunday. Cody jumped out of the ring and jumped the guardrail, and the fight was on.

Cody then spears Rollins through the barricade. As they got up swinging, the officials came running out to break up the fight. Rollins breaks free, rolls through the ring and jumped on Rhodes again. The officials finally push Rhodes through the back, but Rhodes come running back and jumps on Rollins again. Fans chanted “This is Awesome!”

Alexa Bliss VS. Doudrop

Nikki A.S.H. is at ringside in Doudrop’s corner, Bliss hits Twisted Bliss after kicking Nikki off the apron for the win.

Winner: Alexa Bliss

The Miz is out next to host MizTV. The Street Profits interrupt the Miz. As The Miz and The Street Profits were exchanging words and Miz trying to get control of the segment back, the competitors for the 24/7 championship started coming in the ring and fighting while the Street Profits sit down to watch the action. Ford superkicked T-Bar out of the ring. Tamina finally hits the Samoan drop on Dana Brooke for the pin

Winner and New 24/7 Champion: Tamina

After the win, Tozawa came in and Tamina grabs him and kisses him then pushes him away and as they jump for joy with their hands in the air. Tozawa backslides Tamina into a pin attempt and the referee counted the pin.

Winner and New 24/7 Champion: Akira Tozawa

Theory comes out to sit at the announce table for the next match involving Mustafa Ali in which if Ali wins, he wins a future US Championship match

Mustafa Ali VS. Ciampa

The action spills out of the ring and Ali almost lands on the announce table and Theory attacks Ali.

Winner by DQ: Mustafa Ali

Theory says why wait let’s do it right now.

Theory VS. Mustafa Ali for the United StatesChampionship

Theory assaulted Ali during the break. But they are back in the ring and Ali says yes, he is ready to go. Ali hit a DDT and went to the top rope,but Theory caught him and hit A town down for the win

Winner and Still United States Champion: Theory

Adam Pearce comes out and stated that Theory might want to check his text messages as Mr. McMahon messaged and wants to see a fair fight for the US Championship this Sunday at Hell in a Cell.

Riddle says Randy might be out, but it doesn’t mean he came alone and Shinsuke Nakamura met up with him and they said they are going to take the tag team championship from them.

The Usos VS. Riddle & Shinsuke Nakamura

If Nakamura and Riddle with the get a title match.

Riddle goes for a DDT off the ropes, but Jey backdropped him over the top rope but before he was completely over, Nakamura made a tag. Nakamura hits Jey with a Kinsasha but Jimmy broke up the count. Finally, Jimmy hits Riddle with Riddle’s Scooter.

Winners by DQ: Riddle and Shinsuke Nakamura

Liv Morgan VS. Rhea Ripley

During the match, Damian Priest and AJ Styles both came to the ringside. AJ took out Priest and Ripley goes for the Riptide, but Liv hits a backstabber and pushes her weight on Ripley’s legs for the pin.

Winner: Liv Morgan

After the match, Priest takes out AJ and goes after Liv, but Finn Balor comes in for the save as Ripley makes her way back to her feet and gets nailed with a dropkick off the top rope from Liv. Finn and AJ then take out Priest.

Contract signing for Bobby Lashley VS. Omos & M.V.P. for Sunday at Hell in a Cell is next.

After the contract is signed and they toss the table to the side, Pearce calls for security which doesn’t help and in comes Cedric Alexander that backflips and kicks Lashley in the head. As Omos continues to beat down Lashley, Omos sets up a table in a corner of the ring and as Omos goes to slam Lashley, Lashley slides down his back and pushes him toward the table, Omos stops and turns around and Lashley spears Omos through the table.
