Monday Night Raw TV report for 03/14/2022

Raw opens with the showing of the unfortunate news of the passing of WWE Hall Of Famer Scott Hall.

Show begins with showing Kevin Owens calling out Stone Cold Steve Austin for WrestleMania and Austin’s acceptance from last week.

As we go live, Kevin Owens’ music hits and Owens is announced. Owens gets in the ring with a mic in hand and stares at the WrestleMania sign.

He starts off with a “Hey Yo” and says he is not only going to WrestleMania, he is going to the main event of WrestleMania on Saturday because he has Stone Cold Steve Austin on the KO Show. Owens ends his segment by delivering a Stunner to the camera man.

They show Austin Theory telling Pat McAfee he is his opponent for WrestleMania and then what happened on this past Friday’s Smackdown before the Intercontinental Championship match.

Finn Balor VS. Damian Priest

Balor goes right after Priest with a dropkick in the corner. Priest’s power takes over. Balor takes control and as he was going to the top rope, Austin Theory who was on commentary, got up on the apron distracting Balor, who gets down and gets grabbed by Priest but kicks Priest in the head before jumping off the apron. Balor ran and dropkicked Theory into the chair he was about to sit back down in. Balor gets back in the ring, but Priest catches him with the Reckoning.

Winner: Damian Priest

After the match, Theory get in the ring and hits the KTL and took a selfie with Balor down on the mat.

In the back Seth Rollins is interviewed being asked about being part of WrestleMania and just stares and does not answer.

Omos VS. Commander Azeez

Apollo distracts Omos as Azeez pulls Omos over the rope and splashes Omos in the corner and as Azeez went for the suplex, Omos countered and suplex to Azeez, then picked Azeez up for the slam and pin.

Winner: Omos

In the back they again show Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens walked up to him and tried to talk to him. As Owens kept going on about having a vision and helping Rollins remember all his WrestleMania moments and said he can help him, Rollins put his fingers up to Owens to shut him up and began laughing and walked away.

Liv Morgan VS. Queen Zelina

Before the match they show Zelina talking to Carmella and told her to get her head in the game or else. During the match Carmella got on the apron and distracted Liv which caused Rhea Ripley who was at ringside with Liv to go after Carmella who runs and jumps on Corey Graves’ lap at the commentary desk. In the ring, after Zelina Powerbomb to Liv from the distraction, Liv gets up and hits Zelina with a face down DDT off the ropes for the pin.

Winner: Liv Morgan

After the match, Zelina gets up and looks out and sees Carmella with Corey and looks very mad.

Seth Rollins’ music hits and Rollins comes out and is all smiles as he gets in the ring. He says he has a plan to get himself to WrestleMania. He says he has a plan and wants his best friend Kevin Owens out there with him to enjoy this moment with him.

Owens comes out and grabs a mic and asked if everyone was ready…Seth says Kevin has his talk show with Stone Cold Steve Austin and what if he had his own talk show. Seth says there can only be one talk show and he and Kevin should have a match and whoever wins gets the talk show with Stone Cold Steve Austin and as they argue Sonya Deville comes out and makes the match and if Rollins wins, he replaces Kevin Owens at WrestleMania.

They show a package of the Mysterios and The Miz and Logan Paul.

After break, they show Kevin Owens upset talking to Sonya Deville about the match tonight and asked how can you condone someone stealing someone elses idea.

The Miz’s music hits and out comes Miz and Logan Paul to watch the next match at the commentary table.

Rey & Dominik Mysterio VS. Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander (The Hurt Business)

Double 619 on Alexander as Rey jumps off the apron onto Benjamin, Dominik goes up to the top rope hits the frog splash and gets the pin.

Winners: Rey & Dominik Mysterio

After the match, The Miz and Paul attack the Mysterios and as the Mysterios got the upper hand, The Miz pulls Paul out of the ring and head to the back.

They show Edge’s promo from last week.
They announce Queen Sharmell going into the Hall of Fame.

Edge comes out to a new theme song. Edge cuts a heel promo saying he is better than everyone. He said the Edge that came back to please everyone was weak and if that Edge would have shown up to face A.J. Styles at WrestleMania, Styles would have left him laying in the dust.

They show Bianca Belair whipping Becky Lynch with her hair.

Belair is interviewed backstage and said she only used her hair after Lynch tied her hair in the ropes first. And it’s been quiet without Lynch around Raw and in a couple weeks she is going to silence Lynch for good.

They show a promo for Veer Mahaan coming to Raw

Bianca Belair VS. Doudrop

Nikki A.S.H. accompanies Doudrop to the ring. Bianca goes for the K.O.D. early but Doudrop gets out of it and Bianca rolls outside the ring. Doudrop goes out after her and picked her up for the slam but Bianca gets out of it and pushed Doudrop’s back into the ring, but Doudrop fights back and pushes Bianca into the ring barrier and we go to break with Belair on the floor.

Back in the ring the action continues as Doudrop goes for the suplex, Belair fights out and Doudrop finds herself in the corner as Belair picks Doudrop up and carries her to the center of the ring and hits the K.O. D. for the pin.

Winner: Bianca Belair

After the match, Becky Lynch shows up and attacks Belair by pulling Belair out of the ring by her hair then bouncing her face off the commentary table then face first into a folding chair. Becky then pulls Belair’s head through the chair and whips her with the chair by her neck into the ring post. Lynch walks to the back smiling as Belair is attended to.

Smackdown Breakdown shows Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair’s feud.

Back in the ring they announce the New Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro. As Orton was giving Riddle gifts, they are interrupted by the Street Profits who started out by congratulating RK-Bro on winning the tag team championships and they are owed a title shot. The Street Profits officially challenge them for the titles at WrestleMania.

Orton starts by telling them no. Dawkins said when it comes to those titles, we are not bros. Ford stated they are way past asking for opportunities around here, he is telling them they are challenging them at WrestleMania.

Orton said in 19 years, the Undertaker, not even Vincent Kennedy McMahon, has told him what he is going to do in this ring, and they are not going to be the ones to tell him what to do. Riddle then says they need opponents for WrestleMania and it’s the right thing to do. Orton then accepts the Street Profits challenge.

Ford says next time they will show them how to throw a party and Riddle grabs him and says he now does not want to wait till WrestleMania. As the Street Profits started saying they are up, and they want…Orton interrupts them and says oh no we are not ending this segment like that we are ending it with the 3 most dangerous letters in sports entertainment RK BRO.

Riddle VS. Montez Ford

Riddle out powering him with suplexes. Ford then goes after Riddle on the floor and jumps off the top rope only to be caught by Riddle who goes for a belly to back suplex only for Ford to land on his feet and knock Riddle down as we cut to break.

Back from break the action is back in the ring, Riddle catches Ford with a powerslam then a DDT off the ropes like Orton always does. Riddle goes for the RKO and Ford counters with a kick to the head, Riddle catches Ford with an RKO.

Otis out of nowhere knocks Orton over the barrier at ringside and then goes after Riddle, Gable is out attacking Dawkins. With Ford left in the ring, Otis goes off the rope onto Ford and Gable follows with a moonsault.

Dawkins and RK-Bro all laying at ringside and Ford in the ring as Alpha Academy raise their arms.

The announcers then talk about the passing of Scott Hall and show a tribute video.

Kevin Owens VS. Seth “Freakin” Rollins

They begin by arguing as the bell rings and they tie up, Owens yells at him and say it is my spot you don’t belong there and Rollins went crazy hitting Owens and then the back and forth action continues.

Rollins hits Owens with a knee off the top rope an throws Owens outside. Back in the ring, Owens is met with a superkick, Rollins off the top rope with a frog splash but only 2 count and Owens kicks out.

Owens then hits a superplex off the top rope for a long 2 count but Rollins kicks out. Rollins rolls up Owens but the ref had to jump out of the ring for safety and only got the two count, Rollins then goes for the stomp but Owens moves hits the stunner and gets the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens
