Monday Night Raw TV report for 02/28/2022

Raw opens with The KO Show! Kevin Owens comes and announces Seth Rollins. As the two made their way to the ring they show previews of tonight’s show.

Back in the ring, Owens talks about wanting to win the Tag Team titles and Seth Rollins stops Owens mid-rant about Texas and says they are not in Texas they are in Columbus, Ohio and announces their guests tonight, the Raw Tag Team Champions the Alpha Academy.

Chad Gable says this is their first time on the KO Show and says “Thank You” and Owens makes fun of the way he said it. Gable accuses Owens and Rollins of weaseling their way into the tag team title match, then insults the fans with his Masters degree and said they are morons who might have gone to Ohio State to a thunderous round of boos.

Gable started shooshing Rollins and then back and forth between Rollins and Owens until Owens stuns him as we go to commercial.

Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens Vs. The Alpha Academy

After a lot of back and forth action Rollins tags in Owens who knocks both Alapha Academy out of the ring, lays out Gable with a cannonball and then a splash. Otis comes to and hits Owens with a clothesline as we go to break. After break, the action is back in the ring Owens tags in Rollins and hits the Stomp on Gable for the pin.

Winners: Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens

As Rollins and Owens celebrate in the Ring we cut to a promo of Omos, where he says he has dominated everyone and tonight he is going to dominate T-Bar.

Omos VS. T- Bar

Omos attacks before T-Bar could even get in the ring, then in the ring the referee says she can’t start the match with T-Bar already laid out. Then T-Bar agrees to go. Not much of any offense from T-Bar. Omos hits the slam for the pin.

Winner: Omos

Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan & Bianca Belair VS. Doudrop, Nikki A.S.H & Becky Lynch

Lots of action in this one as Belair goes for the pin on A.S.H., Lynch pulls her off by her hair as Belair gets up she starts whipping Lynch in the stomach and back with her hair. A.S.H. attempted to roll the distracted Belair up as she made fun of Lynch screaming in pain and walking up the ramp but Belair kicked out. Belair then punched A.S.H. and hit the KOD for the pin.

Winners: Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan & Bianca Belair

As Ripley, Belair and Morgan celebrate in the ring, they show Lynch holding her stomach with welts beginning to show up and she was bleeding from one of them.

Now they show Dolph Ziggler’s match with Tommaso Ciampa from NXT after Roode hitting Ciampa with a camera

Robert Roode VS. Tommaso Ciampa

After hitting the knee on Ziggler who was on the apron, Ciampa countered the Glorious DDT and rolled up Roode for the pin. Ziggler comes in and they beat down Ciampa and plugs tomorrow’s tag team match on NXT.

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa

Dana Brooke & Reggie VS. Tamina & Akira Tozawa

Reggie went for the pin, Tamina breaks up the count, Brooke comes in and knocks Tamina out of the ring. Tozawa grabbed Brooke who elbowed him allowing Reggie to jump on Tozawa and hold him down for the 3 count.

Winners: Dana Brooke & Reggie

After the match Dana jumps and knocks down Reggie and give him a big kiss and Tamina is shown outside the ring giving Tozawa a big kiss.

In the back the Street Profits are interviewed who are ready to face RKBro tonight.

Rey & Dominik Mysterio VS. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander (The Hurt Business)

As Dominik goes for the pin, Alexander jumped over the ref to break up the count. Rey comes in and sends Alexander out of the ring. Back in the ring, The Miz comes out and grabs Dominik’s foot and Rey runs him off through the crowd as Dominik looks on and Shelton rolls Dominik up for the win.

Winners: Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander

RK-Bro VS. The Street Profits

Both Dawkins and Riddle crawling to their corners needing tags and both get the tags, as Ford and Orton battle in the ring. Riddle comes in and is taken out by Dawkins, Orton goes for the RKO but Ford hits him with a kick to the head then Frog Splash. After rolling, Ford goes for the pin and Orton tries to get his foot on the rope but not close enough as Dawkins is able to push it away to make sure and Ford scores the pin.

Winners: The Street Profits

In the back Austin Theory tries to get Mr. McMahon to let him come to the Pat McAfee show with him in case McAfee jumps Mr. McMahon. McMahon says it’s not that kind of show and gets up and walks out. As Theory sits there and says “It could be” and smiles as we go back to the ring.

Finn Balor VS. Damian Priest (Champion) for the United States Championship

Balor hits Priest with the dropkick in the corner goes up for the coup de grace but Priest gets out of the way Priest goes for the slam and pin but Balor kicks out. Priest goes for the reckoning but Balor counters hits his own then hits the dropkick in the corner, up to the top and hits the Coup de Grace for the pin.

Winner: And NEW United States Champion Finn Balor

After the match Priest grabs the mic and cuts a heel promo and blames the fans and attacks Balor and slams him on the announce desk.

Next out comes Edge who is asking and begging someone to step up to be his opponent at WrestleMania and A.J. Styles’ music hits. As Styles makes his way to the ring, Edge is seen smiling in the ring. Styles grabs a mic and says “I accept.”

Edge tells him he wants the bulldog not the teaming with Omos A.J. Styles as Edge holds his hand out to shake Styles’ hand. A.J. was about to shake his hand when Edge attacks Styles as Styles takes over Edge gets up and kicks A.J. between the legs and begins to hammer on Styles.

As the fans begin to boo Edge, he gets up and stands over Styles, then goes to leave the ring and stops then exits the ring to walk around the ring and grabbed two folding chairs. He slides the chairs in and lays Styles head on one of them and looks at the crowd and picks up the other chair and then drops the chair.

Edge stays in the ring then picks up the chair again looks around at the crowd, looks like he is about to cry and then swings violently smashing the chair into styles head which was still on the other chair.

Show ends with Edge looking down at styles with chair in hand.
