Beth Phoenix returning on WWE television for Mixed Match Challenge

Beth Phoenix will be returning on WWE television, joining the commentary team for the WWE/Facebook project Mixed Match Challenge series.

The WWE Hall of Famer will be joining Michael Cole and Corey Graves calling the action for the 12-week series that will start on January 16 on Facebook Watch at 10PM EST. Renee Young and Byron Saxton will be the hosts of the show.

Beth Phoenix last appeared on television during the Mae Young Classic tournament and also called a six-woman tag match. Fellow Hall of Famer Lita was in charge of commentary for that tournament with Jim Ross.

The series will be 20 minutes long and will air immediately following Smackdown Live. 205 Live will air following Mixed Match Challenge. The MMC tournament will see Raw and Smackdown Superstars team up – one male and one female – until there’s only one team standing.
