The 63-year-old WWE Hall Of Famer is scheduled to be part of WrestleCon during WrestleMania weekend in early April but it’s unclear if he will be able to appear now. He is currently advertised for session four of WrestleCon.
AEW President Tony Khan will be making a major announcement on tonight’s episode of Dynamite on TBS and he will be the one personally delivering the news.
The announcement has been a closely-guarded secret since Khan hinted at it two weeks ago. The plan was to announce something last week but whatever negotiations were going on did not end in time. But Khan has promised that come Wednesday night, he’ll be able to make the announcement and AEW is promoting the segment.
Dropping some hints about it last week, Khan said the announcement isn’t regarding one particular talent and it will be great for the wrestling business, using “something pretty big” and “a big deal” to describe what’s coming.
Rumors of what the announcement might be range from Khan buying Ring of Honor, a streaming deal with HBO Max featuring AEW and ROH, a mega show with New Japan, and others.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio, former NXT champion Samoa Joe revealed that he had tested positive for COVID-19 after winning the NXT title from Karrion Kross and was not in a position to appear on NXT 2.0, hence the decision came to vacate the title.
Joe said that McMahon wanted to go in a different direction with the brand and wanted the first episode to be a big one.
“And I agreed with him,” Joe said. “I said, ‘Listen, if that’s the case, this is probably what’s best for what your vision is for what you want for this product,'” he continued, referring to vacating the title.
After recovering from coronavirus, Joe said he transitioned to a behind the scenes role where he trained talent one-on-one, saying it was “really invigorating” for him.
But things turned around and Joe was released in January, the second time he had been let go in nine months. While he’s ready to get back in the ring, the former WWE star said that he’s taking a break to spend time with his family and work on other non-wrestling related stuff for now.
NXT star Amari Miller left the ringside area in a stretcher yesterday after losing to Lash Legend on the USA Network broadcast.
WWE medical personnel and referees helped get Miller on a stretcher during a commercial break and while Miller looked fine during the match, it seems that the finishing move by Legend, which involves a modified fireman’s carry slam, did the damage as she hit the mat pretty hard.
The 25-year-old wrote on Twitter today that she was on the receiving end of a concussion and thanked the fans for checking on her. “Much love to everyone that had reached out! We gonna keep on moving,” she wrote.
Miller and Legend were a tag team last week and competed in the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament but they lost to Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray, with Legend blaming Miller for the loss.
The next guest on the Stone Cold Steve Austin Broken Skull Sessions will be none other than WWE Hall Of Famer Bully Ray.
The man who is also formerly known as Bubba Ray Dudley tweeted the announcement himself, posting a photo with Austin on his set and writing, “Coming soon…The one you all been waiting for…Gimme a HELL YEAH.”
After an illustrious career with several titles in ECW, WWE, and Impact Wrestling, Bully Ray is now the – often controversial – co-host of Busted Open on Sirius XM Radio.
The last guest on Austin’s popular WWE Network show was Ron Simmons as part of Black History Month.
Monday Night Raw did an average of 1,753,000 viewers on Monday night, down 73,000 viewers from last week on a night dominated by news coverage.
Raw started with 1,738,000 viewers, then increased to 1,836,000 viewers in the second hour and dropped to 1,685,000 viewers for the third and final hour.

Three matches were announced for the broadcast yesterday, including a triple threat match for the NXT title between champion Bron Breakker, Tommaso Ciampa, and Dolph Ziggler, a last man standing match featuring LA Knight and Grayson Waller, and The Creed Brothers get their NXT Tag Team titles shot against Imperium.
NXT Roadblock will be less than a month before NXT Stand & Deliver which will take place on Saturday, April 2 in Dallas on WrestleMania weekend. WWE has yet to announce a location and start time for the show.
A ladder match for the NXT North American title is on the Stand & Deliver card, but it remains to be seen if this will be a one-on-one or a multi-man match.
A&E and WWE today announced a multi-year expansion of their successful programming partnership with the commissioning of more than 130 new hours of premium WWE-themed series and specials to air exclusively on A&E platforms and to be distributed worldwide by A+E Networks.
The multi-platform partnership includes 35 new episodes of the genre-defining, Emmy-award winning franchise Biography, featuring documentaries on legends of WWE. Last year’s Biography: WWE Legends episodes drove Biography to become A&E’s most-watched series in 2021. WWE is also beginning production on 24 new episodes of the original series WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures, which will air over multiple seasons. The first season of WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures was A&E’s most-watched new series of last year.
A&E has also ordered 40 hours of the new series, WWE Rivals (working title). WWE Rivals will chronicle the little-known stories behind the biggest clashes in WWE history. The episodes will include revelatory insights from those who were a part of the rivalries that often extended far beyond the ring and the cameras.
Additional hours of original programming are currently in development as well.
“The collaboration between these two powerhouse brands has already proven to resonate with audiences and we look forward to working together to create premium content with broad appeal,” said Elaine Frontain Bryant, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming for A&E. “WWE’s incredible fanbase and talent roster are a great complement to A&E’s unique brand of in-depth storytelling that take fans behind the curtain and we are thankful to the entire WWE team for their partnership.”
“A&E is an amazing partner with an impressive lineup of signature series across its networks,” said Nick Khan, WWE President. “The expansion of our partnership will allow us to continue creating a massive slate of new content with a trusted partner, while further establishing A&E as a destination for WWE fans for years to come.”
Through in-depth films helmed by some of the industry’s top directors and storytellers, Biography continues its focus on meaningful events and personalities as well as their impact on our culture. Through new and archival interviews and never-before-seen footage, each film will give fans an in-depth look at the early lives, rise to fame and careers of some of the most influential stars in WWE history.
WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures takes viewers on a journey to find some of WWE’s most iconic, lost memorabilia. In each episode, WWE Superstars and Legends investigate, negotiate, bid and travel across the country to unearth rare items in the hopes of preserving and sharing the legacy behind the memorable moments in WWE history.
Tickets for the Money In The Bank premium live event in Las Vegas will go on sale on Thursday, March 17 at Ticketmaster.com starting at 10AM PT.
The show will take place from the Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, July 2 and will mark the first time that a MITB standalone show will happen inside a stadium.
WWE will obviously not use the full stadium and judging by the seating map, only half the stadium will be used, with a long entrance way. The setup is similar to the one used for SummerSlam last year, also held in the same location.
WWE has teamed up with On Location to provide exclusive MITB hospitality deals, including priority passes, premiere seating, a dedicated stadium entrance, premium hospitality offerings and meet and greets with WWE Superstars and Legends. Those are already on sale through onlocationexp.com/WWE.
Money In The Bank will happen on the same day as UFC 276 which is also in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena. The WWE show is expected to end before the PPV portion of UFC starts so fans can enjoy both shows. That weekend the UFC will also have the 10th year anniversary of International Fight Week.
Cain Velasquez has been charged with attempted murder by San Jose Police Department following an incident involving a shooting on Monday afternoon.
The former UFC Heavyweight champion and WWE star is still incarcerated at the Santa Clara County jail and will be appearing in court tomorrow. There is no bail set.
It’s unknown what led to the argument but Velasquez shot another male near the intersection of Monterey Highway and Bailey Avenue. The victim was taken to a hospital where he is suffering from non life threatening injuries. San Jose PD is still trying to piece together why there was the argument and investigations are under way.
Velasquez, who was part of the WWE roster from October 2019 to April 2020, returned to AAA late last year to wrestle. He has not had a professional mixed martial arts fight since February 2019.
Rampage on Friday night drew 473,000 viewers back in its 10PM time slot, up just 2,000 viewers from the week before. The show did a 0.18 in the 18-49 demo, the lowest of 2022, and finished #48 in the top 50 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
Another match for WrestleMania was confirmed last night on Monday Night Raw as the WWE Women’s Tag Team champions Queen Zelina and Carmella accepted the challenge from Naomi and Sasha Banks.
Naomi and Banks announced their intentions on challenging for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles this past Friday night on Smackdown after Banks beat Shotzi. The two popular Superstars were unfortunately not part of any major storylines, with Banks just returning from injury and Naomi wrapping up her angle with Sonya Deville a couple of weeks before.
This is the third women’s match on the WrestleMania card. Last year, WrestleMania had four women’s matches out of a total of 14 over two nights.
Undoubtedly, the interest in sports betting is on a rapid rise ever since our world became more technologically advanced to enable mobile apps and multi-functional smartphones that allow us to complete numerous tasks on the go. In line with that, more people visit websites like March Madness Bracket, where they can find betting odds for their favorite sports teams and plays.
More and more people are also betting on WWE, and some enthusiastic bettors go the extra mile and incorporate this type of betting as their primary hobby. They then follow the latest trends and news on World Wrestling Entertainment and read the page on BetUS to increase their chances of winning.
However, even though this type of pastime provides a great deal of excitement and fun, there are some safety issues you should consider before you start betting like a pro. These issues regard internet safety and online security in the first lines, which is why we’ll present you with some tips on how to enhance them.
Caring for online safety when betting on WWE
Here are our top three tips on how you can increase your online security and internet safety if you’re an enthusiastic WWE bettor:
1. Bet only at reputable betting sites
Unfortunately, some betting sites can be scams and expose you to third parties that may use a phishing link to enter your browsing history, abuse, or steal your data. Therefore, if you’re a WWE betting beginner, you should always check whether the platform you’re placing your bets through is reputable. The moment you notice broken links, exit the platform/website.
2. Place your bets only through an e-wallet service
When you’re betting on WWE, you’ll make deposits. Do not make your deposits directly from your bank account, entering all your financial information. Use an e-wallet like Neteller, Skrill, or PayPal, which offers an extra security level for making financial transactions online. These e-wallets are for your safety and will help you stay in the clear from potential phishing attacks or data theft.
3. Purchase a VPN
A VPN service is, in a nutshell, a tool that makes you invisible online. By masking your IP address, a VPN allows you to indulge in WWE betting without worrying that somebody will abuse your data based on your location (IP address). Yes, purchasing a VPN service is no cheap investment, but the payoff you get as increased online safety is far more significant in the long run.
Former UFC Heavyweight champion and for a short time WWE Superstar as well Cain Velasquez was arrested yesterday after he was involved in a shooting which left one man injured.
The incident happened yesterday afternoon in Morgan Hill, California, with the San Jose Police Department investigating the case according to NBC Bay Area.
Velasquez is currently locked up at the County of Santa Clara Department of Corrections facility without bail. It’s unclear if Velasquez was the one who pulled the trigger in the shooting but with no bail allowed, chances are that the former UFC and WWE star is the assailant.
The victim, who according to a tweet by the San Jose Police Media Relations was shot at least once, was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Velasquez made his WWE debut on the debut episode of Smackdown on FOX in October 2019, confronting Brock Lesnar. The two wrestled each other in Saudi Arabia later that month, a match which Lesnar won. He was released in April 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic budget cuts.
He holds an MMA record of 14-3, including a win over Brock Lesnar from October 2010 where he won the UFC Heavyweight title. He last fought for the UFC in February 2019, losing in 26 seconds to Francis Ngannou.
UPDATE: TMZ.COM published the mug shot which was taken by police when Velasquez was booked.
Friday Night Smackdown on FOX drew 2,114,000 final viewership last Friday, down 59,000 viewers from the prior week and the lowest viewership of 2022 so far. The good news is that the show did 0.57 in the 18-49 demo, and placed #1 on network TV for the night.
In the overnight numbers, the first hour had an average of 2,004,000 viewers and the second hour did 1,948,000 viewers. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
For people who are new to the world of gambling and do not have a clue as to where to start, they can go for slot games. Slot games are one of the easiest and popular forms of gambling. Traditionally, people visited slot machines in casinos to get a taste of the game but now that is not the case anymore. Seeing the overwhelming popularity and future potential, many gaming companies have incorporated online slots into the gaming software. The online slots have been made engaging with graphics, soundtrack, easy gameplay interface to attract more people towards the game. Players can also participate in live games and tournaments to compete with different players. Such features create a simulated reality where the person feels like she is actually playing at a casino. Some of the popular slot games are Starburst, Goblin’s Cave, Sunrise Reels, Immortal Romance, Private Eye, Book of Ra etc. These games can be found in popular online casino sites and mobile gaming sites.
With the booming of the smartphone market accompanied by the availability of cheap data, mobile gaming sites have seen a huge surge of players, particularly even more during the lockdown. The reason why mobile gaming is becoming a top choice among players is because of its easy usage, accessibility and convenience. Players can play games at any place, at any point in time. To tap the potential of the growing smartphone market, gaming companies have started designing mobile-friendly slot games. Given how slot games require less or no experience of gambling and are sources of earning good cash, they will not easily fade away from the market. You also get to play free slots with no deposit.
Slot games have undergone changes in terms of design and structure. They are taking inspiration from pop culture, films and TV series. There are slot games based on Disney characters, Game of Thrones, Friends, Avengers etc. Previously, fruit symbols were used in the slot machines and the winner was the one who got the combination right. However, there are some myths about slot machines that need to be resolved.
The combinations get an equal chance
Slot machines are equipped with winning and losing options. There are higher chances of getting small and winning combinations than getting big wins and jackpot combinations. The top jackpot only appears once. Further down the line, the player will receive a series of non-winning combinations and Near Misses.
If a person has a miss she has to pay
If the person is engaged with the slot games for a very long time, she may come across a series of frustrating combinations right before the big win. This is done to build excitement and tension for the game. The person needs to feel that winning the jackpot is near and she has to continue playing. The truth is that misses do not mean anything because every spin does not have relation to the last spin as it is generated by RNG. This is why it is advisable that the player should not play the game with the ‘I have to win the jackpot’ mindset.
A person can win the jackpot once
This is absolutely false. Because every spin is unrelated to the previous spin and there are high chances of someone getting a jackpot at two spins in a row. Every spin bears equal chances of winning.
Playing slot games can be the worst idea in a casino
In traditional casinos, slots can deliver low percentage payouts but they cannot be qualified for being the worst bets. The game of craps table bears worse odds than the slot games. For inexperienced, slot games should be their first preference as other card and table games require experience and skills.

Hogan married McDaniel in December 2010 after dating her for two years. She was 20 years younger than the Hulkster and she supported him when the whole sex tape with Heather Clem was leaked in 2012.
In a video posted yesterday on his Instagram meeting Bret Michaels, Hogan introduced his new girlfriend to Michaels as “my girl Sky.” She can also be seen in previous posts of him hanging out as his Hogan’s Beach Shop in Clearwater.
