Hikaru Shida injured, out of Owen Hart tournament

Hikaru Shida has been taken out of the Owen Hart Foundation tournament due to an injury, an injury which was unspecified when the announcement was made during the Rampage television tapings yesterday.

Shida was set to take on Red Velvet in the tournament but will now be replaced by Kris Statlander and the match will happen on Rampage next week.

The former AEW Women’s champion wrestled last week in her home of Japan so it could be that she picked up an injury from that match.

Grand Slam took place at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, New York and saw 20,000 fans pack the home of the US Open tennis tournament. The show drew nearly $1 million in gate money and was a ratings success for the company on TNT at the time, with 1,273,000 viewers tuning in and a solid 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demo.

Khan did not reveal the date of when the company is returning to the stadium but it’s likely that the show will be in September again.

The show featured a 30-minute time limit draw between Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson and had a women’s main event with Dr. Britt Baker defending her AEW Women’s title against Ruby Soho.

New ROH logo revealed in trademark application

Last week, ROH Acquisition Co., LLC, applied to trademark the new logo for Ring of Honor with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Filed on May 6 by Indianapolis-based attorney Bradley M. Stohry, the new ROH logo is completely different from the one we’re used to seeing.

The new logo features the words ROH with no spacing in a basic font inside of rectangular shape with points in the middle. Color is not claimed as a feature of the mark.

Tony Khan purchased Ring of Honor as himself, rather than as All Elite Wrestling, although the owner in the application is listed as having the same address as AEW’s offices at the Jaguars stadium.

Charlotte Flair out of action “indefinitely”

Former Smackdown Women’s champion Charlotte Flair will be out of action “indefinitely” following her title loss at WrestleMania Backlash. The news was announced during today’s episode of The Bump.

WWE.COM said on Monday that Flair had a broken arm but in reality, Flair was written out of television because she will be getting married soon.

Charlotte revealed during WrestleMania weekend that she and her fiancee, Andrade El Idolo, will be getting married in the Summer and they have a date set, but didn’t announce it. The two will tie the knot in Mexico.

“I think Manny [Andrade] would be a little angry if I walked down the aisle with my title,” she joked during one of the interviews.

Flair is exiting the scene temporarily but WWE got back Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and Lacey Evans over the past few weeks and Bayley’s return is also imminent.

Dustin Rhodes says his father would be happy for Cody

Speaking on the latest episode of Renee Paquette’s The Sessions podcast, Dustin Rhodes said that his father Dusty would be happy with Cody and his decisions.

Dustin explained how their father always wanted them to be happy and always tried to lead them in the right way, although he left the final decisions in their hands.

“Money is money and dad would always say, ‘Take the money,'” Dustin said about his brother going to WWE for a big contract.

Dustin mentioned that he was happy for Cody who went back to WWE but he misses him in AEW.

“I miss him being there but I know he’s young and you know…let’s go, go do your thing. So, I’m very happy for him,” Dustin said, adding that he told Cody to go and win that title.

Dustin also went over Cody’s first promo back on Monday Night Raw the night after WrestleMania and said that Cody’s very passionate about promos and made a huge impact on that first Raw appearance in six years.

“I know dad would be happy. He’s sitting in the rafters, that’s where I pictured him when me and Cody wrestled at Double or Nothing,” Dustin said.

Which team can prove itself to be the German champion?

The DFB Cup is in its prime stage. Many world-class teams are already out. Which team can claim the beloved trophy?

Who will win this year’s DFB Cup?

The next big surprise in the DFB Cup is perfect! Borussia Dortmund was knocked out by second-division team FC St. Pauli. FC Bayern Munich had already been eliminated one round earlier. Who is now the favourite to secure the DFB Cup? We’ll be going into more detail about this in the aftermath.

Top teams already out

Borussia Dortmund has been knocked out of the DFB Cup after losing to FC St. Pauli in the round of 16, leaving its fans without a chance to support them on one of the sites https://hellsbet.com/en-au/ offers. FC Bayern had already been eliminated one round earlier against Borussia Mönchengladbach. A quarterfinal without the participation of the two top clubs is almost a historic event when you look at the history books.

When the DFB Cup final is played at Berlin’s Olympiastadion on May 21, 2022, neither Borussia Dortmund nor FC Bayern will be on the pitch for the first time in eleven years – this has been certain since BVB’s defeat in the round of 16 against FC St. Pauli (1:2) on Tuesday evening.

To sum it up: None of the past 26 DFB Cup winners are still in the competition. The last title holder still in the cup is Borussia Mönchengladbach. The Foals secured the trophy in 1995 and still have a chance to make the quarterfinals at Hannover 96 on Wednesday.

Five second-division teams still in the race

Since Bayern and Dortmund, probably the two biggest lumps, have already been eliminated from the competition, Gladbach can justifiably hope for a long “survival” in the cup. But the other teams can also dream of a coup more than usual. With St. Pauli, Hamburger SV and Karlsruher SC, three second-division teams are already in the quarterfinals. Hansa Rostock and Hannover 96 could follow suit on Wednesday.

The last remaining second-division team in the competition, Hamburger SV, and SC Freiburg will play in the first semifinal of the DFB Cup.

The match will be played at Volksparkstadion on April 19, while the clash between title favourites RB Leipzig and Union Berlin will take place on April 20. This was announced by the German Football Association (DFB) on Tuesday.

HSV could become the first second-division club to reach the final since MSV Duisburg (2011). The final at Berlin’s Olympiastadion will take place on May 21.

Final words

There is no question that the DFB tournament has taken an incredible turn. Where the big teams have failed, the underdogs are stepping in, which have come very far in the tournament through surprising performances. This ensures that the level of surprise continues to rise. After all, it’s still not clear who will win the trophy in the end. However, it is certain that every game will be an adrenaline-filled experience for spectators.

If it really happens, a second-division team, for example, can secure a German title for the first time. Of course, this cannot be ruled out. However, the competition is still incredibly strong, so it remains to be seen who will win the actual title in the end and do their team credit.

Roman Reigns not booked for any TV or live events for July or August

Following Roman Reigns’ speech this past weekend and subsequent news that he signed a new deal with less dates, it looks like the WWE Universal champion will be taking several weeks off come this Summer.

Updated listings on WWE.COM for live events – including TV tapings – for the months of July and August show no trace of the champion. The only two shows that Reigns is promoted for so far after June are the Money In The Bank and the SummerSlam premium live events.

The last show Reigns is advertised for is a non-televised live event on Saturday, June 18 in Rapid City, South Dakota. Reigns is then advertised again on the roster for the September 3 UK stadium show, the September 9 and September 30 Smackdown TV tapings. It looks like whatever he will be doing will wrap up in time to rejoin the company in September.

Two months out fits a timeline for a movie shoot and Reigns did mention that he will be having a crack at Hollywood in the speech on Saturday.

It remains to be seen if he will remain champion while he’s off television but with Reigns holding both the WWE and Universal titles, it seems unlikely that he will walk away while holding both major titles.

Ever since returning at SummerSlam 2020, Reigns has worked WWE events non-stop and has been champion since the week following SummerSlam.

In the overnight numbers, Smackdown had 2,002,000 viewers in the first hour and 1,836,000 viewers in the second hour. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)

Tammy “Sunny” Sytch will be arraigned in Volusia County Court on May 31 in the afternoon for her role in a fatal car crash that claimed the life of a 75-year-old man in March.

This past Friday, the Ormond Beach Police Department obtained an arrest warrant and officially charged the WWE Hall of Famer with one count of DUI causing death, one count of causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, four counts of DUI causing injury to a person, and three counts of DUI causing damage to property.

Toxicology results of Sytch’s blood showed that her blood-alcohol level was 0.280, is 3.5 times the lawful blood-alcohol limit while operating a motor vehicle.

Sytch had a $227,500 bail set and walked out of jail the next morning after someone posted a surety bond.

Difference between Indica and Sativa cannabis seeds?

There’s a reason that any discussion of marijuana strains begins with a distinction between indica and sativa cannabis seeds. The two categories actually refer to different subspecies of cannabis, although modern plant breeding has introduced a level of hybridization that can make it difficult to tell the difference. This article will discuss the differences between these two subspecies’ growth patterns, effects, and more.

What Are Indica Cannabis Seeds?

Indica cannabis seeds are the type of marijuana seeds produced by the Cannabis indica plant. This subspecies of cannabis is believed to have developed in the Middle East, often in areas with harsh, dry climates. Popular strains include Hindu Kush, Granddaddy Purple, Northern Lights, and Girl Scout Cookies, but there are hundreds of named varieties available.

Indica Growth Patterns

Because Cannabis indica evolved to meet the demands of relatively harsh climates and short growing seasons, it tends to be short and squat with many branches. The leaves are also notably broader with wider lobes than sativa strains to maximize sun exposure. Indica strains tend to have slightly shorter growing seasons than sativas, as well.

Indica Effects

Most cannabis enthusiasts describe indicas as having euphoric, sedative effects, and many medical marijuana patients use these strains for pain relief and relaxation. The reason behind these anecdotal descriptions is that most indica strains contain greater concentrations of the terpenes myrcene and linalool, which can have sedating effects.

What Are Sativa Cannabis Seeds?

Sativa cannabis seeds are produced by a different subspecies of marijuana, Cannabis sativa. These strains originated in Central Asia but now tend to come from warmer parts of the world with milder climates. Popular strains include Green Crack, Sour Diesel, Durban Poison, and Super Silver Haze.

Sativa Growth Patterns

Because Cannabis sativa evolved in warm areas with long growing seasons, it tends to be tall and lanky with fewer, larger buds than indica plants. Sativas also take longer to grow from seed to harvest, which can be a problem for people who want to cultivate marijuana outdoors in temperate climates.

Sativa Effects

Most people associate sativa strains with more cerebral effects. Some describe it as being energizing or invigorating, while others say that Cannabis sativa makes them feel more creative and productive. Sativa strains generally have higher concentrations of THC, the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in all marijuana plants.

Hybrid Plants

These days, the most popular varieties of cannabis contain a combination of indica and sativa genetics. Even strains that are supposedly pure sativas or indicas tend to be hybrids of some sort.

Hybrid strains can be indica-dominant, sativa-dominant, or well-balanced. Their growth patterns and usual effects vary based on genetics, with everything from potential yields to cannabinoid concentrations determined by which plants were crossbred to create each strain.

Additional Distinctions

It’s worth noting a few additional distinctions between different types of seeds here. Indica, sativa, and hybrid strains are all available as both regular and feminized seeds, with feminized seeds producing only female plants and regular ones roughly a 50/50 split. Most strains are also available as either photoperiod or autoflowering seeds, which determines things like the length of the growing season, the amount of the yield, and even the resiliency of the plants.

Buy Indica and Sativa Cannabis Seeds Online

The one thing that all indica and sativa cannabis seeds have in common is that they must be of high quality to produce healthy plants. Growers of all skill levels can start their seasons off right by purchasing seeds from reputable online seed banks that source their products from serious plant breeders.

Rampage was #49 in the top 50 cable chart for the night with a 0.11 rating, down 0.03 from the previous week. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)

Rumored locations for 2023 Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 40

WWE logo

The rumored locations for next year’s Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 40 in 2024 are San Antonio and Las Vegas.

While nothing has been confirmed and discussions are still ongoing, the Alamodome in San Antonio is the favored location for the 2023 Royal Rumble as of now. The 72,000-seater Alamodome hosted the 1997 and 2017 Royal Rumble events already, with Steve Austin and Randy Orton winning those two Rumble events.

This year’s Rumble was at the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis.

Meanwhile, the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is also heavily rumored to be hosting WrestleMania 40 in 2024. WWE held SummerSlam 2021 and will be doing this year’s Money In The Bank in Sin City. Next year’s WrestleMania is in Los Angeles and typically WWE announces locations of WrestleMania a year before.

Coming out of the pandemic, WWE immediately promoted WrestleMania 37 in Tampa, 38 in Dallas, and 39 in Los Angeles.

Roman Reigns signs new WWE deal with less dates

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that champion Roman Reigns has signed a new WWE deal but his deal includes much less appearances at non-televised live events in the future.

Reigns raised some eyebrows when on Saturday he hinted at leaving, telling the crowd in Trenton, New Jersey, that he will be starting a new phase of his career and will unlikely be returning to the arena in the future.

The Tribal Chief pretty much does all the non-televised live events at the moment but will now be doing the major ones only plus television. Having less dates on the road will also mean more time to do outside projects and Reigns did mention having a crack at Hollywood during his speech.

Meltzer compared Reigns’ pull backstage and with the office to that of Brock Lesnar and Hulk Hogan and pretty much got a deal similar of the two when they were only doing television and rarely any live events unless it’s a major market.

Rhea Ripley joins Edge’s Judgment Day faction

Edge’s Judgment Day faction got a new member added in the form of former women’s champion Rhea Ripley.

Ripley, under a hood, made her presence felt last night after she tripped AJ Styles in his match against Edge, allowing Edge to lock Styles in the cross face, winning the match after AJ passed out.

After the match was done and dusted, Edge stood in the ring and the hooded individual kneed, before standing up and removing the hood, revealing herself as Rhea Ripley, with black hair and black makeup.

Edge and Ripley laughed as the crowd popped big for the reveal. “An unholy union just grew even stronger,” Corey Graves said on commentary as Edge and Ripley put their hands up.
