Virgil diagnosed with stage two colon cancer

Former WWE and WCW star Virgil wrote on social media that he has just been diagnosed with stage two colon cancer.

His diagnosis comes a month after he was diagnosed with early stage of dementia and was told that he suffered two strokes.

“I am a fighter but need your help. I cannot afford any of the medical bills and would love your support,” Virgil wrote, adding his PayPal for fans to donate any money.

The 59-year-old had a long run in WWE as Ted DiBiase’s personal assistant and then a singles run before moving to WCW where he was part of the ever-expanding nWo. He also made a couple of appearances for AEW in 2019.

Ric Flair training for in-ring return at 73 years old

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Ric Flair is training for an in-ring return, a return for a planned six-man tag team match.

Meltzer, who said Flair confirmed to him he will wrestle, said that the rumor is that the 16-time world champ will team up with FTR to take on The Rock ‘N’ Roll Express and another individual.

The 73-year-old Flair last wrestled in 2011, a 15-minute match against Sting during an episode of Impact Wrestling in Universal Studios. Flair had 12 matches during his time in TNA and had a few before that on the Hulkamania tour in Australia. His last match for WWE was at WrestleMania 24 against Shawn Michaels.

Flair has been posting videos training in the ring with Jay Lethal and the first video he posted, his daughter Charlotte simply replied, “Dad WTF?”

He had a brush with death in 2017 and ended up in a hospital for several weeks. He was put on kidney dialysis after colon surgery and had part of his bowel removed. Flair blamed his years of alcohol abuse as the cause for his health issues.

Hikaru Shida questions AEW’s decision to pull her from tournament

Hikaru Shida expressed her disappointment for not being allowed to participate in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament despite not really being injured.

In a post on Twitter, Shida said she already had four matches after the Philadelphia Street Fight with Serena Deeb.

“But I seem to have been injured…Japanese wrestling is nothing for them. I’m so sorry. And sorry couldn’t be in the tournament too,” Shida wrote in a clear dig at her employer.

Shida was pulled out of the tournament during the Wednesday tapings of Rampage and replaced by Kris Statlander, with AEW saying that she was injured.

The former AEW Women’s champion then posted another tweet, seemingly trying to put out the fire, contradicting her original tweet.

“After my Philadelphia street fight a doctor check from AEW was required to participate in the Owen Hart Cup. And I couldn’t reenter the country in time,” Shida wrote. “These difficulties sometimes happen with International talents.”

She did say that she feels healthy and would enjoy the extra days in Japan.

Rampage TV report for 05/13/2022

Arena: UBS Arena
City: Long Island, NY

Before we get started, Dynamite was five stars simply based on Anna Jay’s outfit: good God those boots.  Also, yeah, Cole vs Dax was fantastic.  They genuinely made me question who’d win, and honestly, that’s all I ask from a wrestling match.  Plus, MJF/Wardlow; the BCC vs JAS; the likely tag team triple threat.  Good stuff coming.

And now…

It’s Saturday morning, and you know what that means…  it’s time for our Rampage Review!

Death Triangle vs Butcher, Blade, Marc Quen

Backstory: None

Straight to the ring, Penta and Blade kicked things off, Blade on the receiving end of not one, but two ‘zero miedo’s’ before a brief exchange saw a stiff kick from Penta and a tag to Pac.  The Bastard held the legs open as Penta delivered a diving footstomp from the top to, well, Blade’s blade.

Well on top, Pac was distracted and attacked on the outside by the Butcher, dropped back-first – very safely tbf, across the apron.  Whereupon, Jericho named Butcher and Blade his Sports Entertainers of the week for improving both their physiques and ring skills (the latter doesn’t scream ‘Sports Entertainer’ but what do I know?).

Fighting back, the Bastard struck with a shotgun dropkick from the top, kipping up, leading to tags to Quen and Fenix respectively.  A very athletic exchange followed, Quen getting the better of it with kicks, flips and headscissors, very little of which looked like it was designed to hurt an opponent in a wrestling match.  There’s no oomph to what Quen does.

Flung to the ropes, Fenix was sent to the outside by the Butcher as he attempted his to swing back through into the ring, which is when the break came.

Quick note, there was no Starks on commentary this week.

Coming back, the heels were controlling Fenix, cutting-off the ring.  A combination side-slam/legdrop from B&B led to a sloppy 450 from Quen which got the first two-count, the Private Partier then taking aim at the other two with a smooth-looking springboard dive to the outside.  Alone in the ring, things didn’t look good for Fenix:  A Butcher lariat saw another two.

Kyle O’Reilly was shown in the crowd taking notes ahead of his clash with Rey next week, just as Fenix fought back with a spinning kick to the head after his patented swing back between the top and middle ropes.

Tagging his brother, Penta struck with a top-rope cross body, a slingblade, thrust kicks and a flipping DDT, before tagging in Pac who arrived with kicks and a brutal German to Quen.  Showing the youngster how to do it, a Black Arrow followed the fear factor for the victory, as the Lucha Bro’s took out B&B with stereo dives.

Then it went it dark.  House of Black briefly appeared in the ring before the lights went out again and they disappeared.

This was fine.  Dead crowd though.

WINNER: Death Triangle

Shawn Spears vs Bear Boulder

Backstory: Spears will face Wardlow soon in a cage

Nice of Shawn to dress in all-white on Wednesday.  You know, like his role model ‘J-E-double-F’.  Nothing Spears does is bad; none of it is interesting.

Even after being part of that segment before a red-hot crowd, Long Island could not have cared less about Spears here, his attempt to warrant a ‘TEN!’ from the crowd not even drawing a ‘t’.

After a brief display of strength from Bear, Spears showed his, taking the big fella onto his shoulders for the C4, which brought victory for Spears.  Customary chairshots followed.

At least we can now retire the term pointless.  It climaxed here.

WINNER: Spears

With Lexi, Smart Mark Sterling – decked out in a neck brace and etc. – said he and Tony Nese’s match with Hookhausen wasn’t happening, he’s ‘not a wrestler.’  Nese said he could beat them by himself, telling his manager to put $10,000 on it when they got to Vegas.

Ruby Soho vs Riho, OH QF

Backstory: Winner will face Red Velvet or Statlander in semis

Not a fan of Ruby’s entrance, Riho put her fingers in her ears and shook her head.  Cute.

Starting slowly, Soho worked the arm before a shoulder block sent Riho to the mat.  Matrix-ing up out of a pin attempt, a magistral brought a quick one count for the import.  A couple of counters later, Riho struck with a flying headscissors and a double foot stomp.

Attacking Ruby in the corner, Soho caught Riho between her legs, sending her face-first into the buckle for two.  Heading to the top, Ruby missed with a double foot stomp, selling her knee afterwards.

Back to her feet, Riho blocked No Future, countering into a single-leg crab into a bridge which saw Soho get the ropes as the ads arrived.

Still on top when we returned, Riho hit a running knee in the corner and a northern lights for another two.  After exchanging strikes atop the turnbuckle, Ruby rolled through a diving cross-body but Riho kicked out at dos.  Attempting a Bladerunner, Soho saw it countered into a crucifix bomb for another near fall as Riho kicked the mat in frustration.

Fighting back, Ruby grabbed two near-pins with a vicious backdrop-driver and a kick to the face, then finally ending things with the Bladerunner.

After having the best AEW women’s match in ages last week, not to mention drawing a crowd reaction dwarfing your average performance from the ladies, it’s a shame to lose Riho so early.  When the crowd did make a peep during this one, it was for the import.  Pretty good action.

Ruby helped Riho to her feet as we left the ring.

WINNER: Ruby

To hear from the Gunn Club and the Acclaimed.  Leading the meeting, Billy said they could be one of the greatest factions but needed a coupla things: hand gestures – ‘ooh, ooh, father’, interrupted Austin, who essentially wanted to do a crotch chop.  Settling on the Acclaimed’s ‘scissors’ thing, they moved onto the catchphrase.

Again the overeager kid in class, Austin was cut off again at ‘we got 2 words for ya’, Billy being more of a fan of Castor’s ‘yo, listen…’.  Better yet, Billy had used his pull to get them a match: ‘on Dynamite?’, ‘Rampage?’, ‘Double or Nothing?’  Nope, ‘Elevation!’.  Castor spit his water all over Billy in excitement as the five celebrated wildly and ‘scissored’.

These guys might be too much fun.  The right amount of goofy.

The Baddies were with Tony (must be the earring) in the ring.  Jade got about the best reaction so far.  Velvet’s outfit did its best to elbow Anna Jay aside.  Shida is injured, out of the tournament, Sterling believed Velvet should advance by default.  Schiavone announced that instead, she’d face her old friend Kris Statlander.

On Dynamite: ‘Wildcard Wednesday’

  • Jericho/Regal face to face
  • O’Reilly vs Fenix, OH
  • Britt vs Joker, OH
  • Joe vs Joker, OH
  • Hangman vs Takeshita (yes, please) w Punk on comms

On Rampage:

  • Velvet vs Statlander, OH QF

Frankie Kazarian vs Scorpio Sky, TNT Title

Backstory: Kaz had earned a title shot against Sammy, Sky promised Kaz first shot at the title if he let him take his place, now the former partners face-off after Sammy told Kaz he should no longer trust Scorpio

In the pre-match interview, Sky became increasingly annoyed with Page and Lambert, who questioned why he’d given Kaz the match.  ‘Why don’t you two take the night off?’

Gue-onti were shown in the crowd as Kaz made his entrance.  AAA belts over their shoulders.

Loud ‘SCU’ chants played as we started, both guys slapping hands before grappling to a stalemate.  After exchanging arm wrenches, Kaz – who looks anything but his age – got a quick two with a takedown.  Sky looked frustrated.

On the mat, Kaz controlled things with a short-arm scissors, Sky fighting out into a couple of roll-ups but unable to fight out entirely.  A rapid sequence saw Sky position Frankie for the TKO, but Kaz slipped out, continuing until both crashed head-first, dropping simultaneously to the mat.

Gue-onti looked on disdainfully as Jericho put over Sammy’s jacket and Taz claimed the two were ‘loved’ before coughing loudly.

Continuing to be a step ahead, Kaz reversed a Russian leg sweep: a fisherman and bridge leading to a two before Sky sent him to the outside, launching himself tope con hiro style.

You guessed it, commercial time.

The trend continued when we returned.  Both knew each other well enough to anticipate what was coming but Frankie was just a little better at it, remaining in the driver’s seat until being caught for the TKO as he attempted his springboard legdrop.  Even here though, the veteran slipped out into a roll-up for two, then landing the aforesaid legdrop for another close count.

With the champ on the apron, Kaz slingshot-ted him back in, directly into a violent looking cutter to loud ‘ooohs’ from the crowd.

Looking for the end, Frankie kept going for the Chicken Wing but couldn’t quite get it locked, Sky grasping, clawing and kicking but starting to fade when Lambert came out and took the ref, allowing Page to strike Kaz with the belt.  Sky, still almost unconscious, drooped limply on top for the 1,2, NO!  Kaz raising his shoulder at the last split-second.

Just as the commentators were reasoning that Scorpio wouldn’t be happy with the ATT guys for interfering, the champ hauled a wobbly Kazarian up for the TKO to retain his title.

Very good action, excellent in-ring storytelling which at least somewhat woke a sleepy crowd.

In the aftermath, Page asked a visibly irritated Sky which side he was on, claiming he’d done what he’d done for their team.  Seemingly on the brink of a split, it turned out to be a SWERVE BRO! Sky belting – literally – his former comrade in the head.

Mic’d up, a heel Lambert baited Sammy and ‘Whorehausen’, who rushed the ring as the heels fled from the other heels?

My head hurts.  This belt feels like it’s been on a six-month-long bender and last orders are nowhere in sight.  Rotten, rotten, rotten, rotten, rotten, rotten storytelling.

WINNER: Scorpio Sky

She asks who wants to make history and Raquel Rodriguez comes out to accept the challenge.

Winner and still Smackdown Women’s Champion: Ronda Rousey

After the match the two shake hands.

Shotzi in the back with Adam Pearce and says that should have been her, Raquel pushed her out of the way to get out there first. Aliyah walks up and says Shotzi locked her in a closet to keep her from answering the challenge. The two continue to argue with Pearce not getting a word in.

Back in the arena workers are bringing out the Andre the Giant Memorial trophy, Madcap comes to the ring and Kayla Braxton says he had what people are calling the biggest win of his career. They then show highlights from Backlash.

Back in the ring, Madcap says it was the biggest victory of his career so far, Kayla asks him what is next? Madcap says he wants to form a mixed tag team with Sasha Banks and call themselves Madcap Boss. He wants to win Money in the Bank, he wants to replace the title belts with title suspenders. Madcap is then attacked with a chair to the back by Happy Corbin as Kayla runs out of the ring. Corbin repeatedly hits Madcap with the chair. Corbin then picks up the trophy and slides it in the ring. Corbin then puts the chair around Madcap’s neck and slams the trophy on the chair as officials run in to stop the attack. EMTs rush to the ring as Corbin walks back to the back laughing at what he just did.

Back from break they show Madcap being stretchered to an ambulance. Corbin walks up and says know where you are going the Mosspital and laughs and walks away as they load Madcap into the ambulance.

Natalya & Shayna Baszler VS. Naomi & Sasha Banks for the Women’s Tag Team Championship

Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter on Naomi, but Naomi turns her into a pin with their legs still tangled together, and Naomi was able to hold Natalya for the 3 count.

Winners and still WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Naomi & Sasha Banks

Drew Gulak is in the back asking Ricochet for advice. And Gulak says next time he sees Gunther he will put him in his place.

Gulak then runs into Gunther beats him down in the hallway

Kofi Kingston VS. Butch

Sheamus takes out Woods, Kofi kicks Sheamus off the apron and turns into an end of days type on Kofi and gets the win.

Winner: Butch

In the back, Sami Zayn is pleading his case to Paul Heyman.

The Bloodline come to the ring. Heyman hands the microphone to Reigns, Reigns says there is no one left, he has smashed them all. No one wants to step to the Tribal Chief. He says here is where things get interesting the Usos have someone that want to challenge them and what are they going to do about it?

RK-Bro then make their way to the ring. Orton says Roman hasn’t smashed anyone: you haven’t smashed John Cena and he is 10 times the Superstar that you will ever be. Believe that! Orton then tells The Usos they want a title match. Because they want both sets of titles, they can call them the Undisputed World Tag Team championships.

The Usos accept the challenge just not tonight but next week. Jimmy says after they win there will be two titles right here and points to Jey, two titles right here and points to himself and two titles right there as Heyman hands Roman his titles and he raises them above his head. Riddle strikes Roman with a knee to the face. Riddle and Orton then jump out of the ring.

Raw and Smackdown Tag Team titles unification match set for Smackdown next week

WWE logo

The Raw and Smackdown Tag Team titles unification match will take place next week on Friday Night Smackdown.

The match, which was supposed to happen at WrestleMania Backlash before it was changed to a six-man tag match, will see RK-Bro take on The Usos for all the titles.

It was set up during the closing segment of last night’s show, where RK-Bro challenged their opponents in the middle of the ring and Riddle got some revenge on Reigns by hitting him with a knee to the face.

With WWE already bailing out once on the match, some are skeptical that this will actually happen but for now this seems to be the main event of next week’s Smackdown.

RK-Bro won the titles in January and have been champions for nearly 70 days while The Usos won their titles in July last year and their reign goes over 300 days.

Roman Reigns off the Hell In A Cell 2022 premium live event

Roman Reigns will not be involved in the upcoming Hell In A Cell premium live event in June and he has been taken off all advertising for the show.

Replacing him on marketing material is the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes who is rumored to be facing Seth Rollins again, this time in a cell match. Others being used on advertising are Ronda Rousey, Bianca Belair, Edge, Bobby Lashley, Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, and Drew McIntyre.

Reigns has already been removed from the event entry on WWE.COM but the Allstate Arena in Rosemont still has the old poster up, which included Reigns but not Cody.

The current WWE Universal champion will be on a lighter schedule from June and will not be on all shows moving forward. He will be out for two months, apart from participating in Money In The Bank and SummerSlam, until he comes back for some shows starting in September.

Tickets for Hell In A Cell are still available through Ticketmaster.com.

Starrcast convention returning during SummerSlam 2022 weekend

Starrcast, the fan convention by Conrad Thompson, will be making a comeback during SummerSlam weekend in late July, the first time that the convention will be held in conjunction with a WWE event.

The fifth Starrcast takes place on July 29, 30, and 31 at The Fairgrounds in Nashville. Pre-sale tickets for those who have purchased past Starrcast wristbands will go on sale at Noon ET on Thursday, May 19th. Public ticket sales will begin at Noon ET on Friday, May 20 at starrcast.com.

“Pre-pandemic, we had hoped to do another Starrcast in Chicago in 2020, but the stars just didn’t align,” Thompson told Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. “So it makes sense to bring it back, especially with a stadium show nearby—but this time, with a few twists that I think everybody is going to enjoy.”

Starrcast V will be held in conjunction with Thuzio, a Triller company. Triller also owns FITE TV, which will stream Starrcast events this year as well.

The convention was held during All In, Double or Nothing, All Out, and Full Gear in 2018 and 2019.

Judge revokes Tammy Sytch’s bail, sends her back to jail until trial

Despite a surety bond posted to bail Tammy Sytch out of jail, the WWE Hall of Famer was sent back behind bars this morning after a motion filed by the state of Florida to lock her up pending trial.

Florida State Attorney R.J. Larizza was in charge of the motion, which was filed on May 9, requesting that Sytch be sent back to jail due to her involvement in the fatal car crash that claimed the life of 75-year old man in March.

The state attorney argued before the judge that Sytch had several DUI arrests and violated her probation multiple times in other states and said that she poses a threat to the community based on her criminal history, mainly surrounding her driving.

A judge at the Circuit Court of Volusia County agreed with the State and revoked her bond.

Footage from the court room shows Sytch kissing her boyfriend before being handcuffed by an officer. She then talks to her attorney and is escorted out of the court room and back to jail.

NXT returning for non-televised live events in Florida starting in June

POST Wrestling is reporting that NXT will be returning for non-televised live events in the state of Florida starting from next month.

WWE halted all NXT live events in March of 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and after WWE resumed shows in July of last year, NXT remained off the road, doing just one show per week for television tapings in the Performance Center.

The live events, usually held in front of a small audience of a couple of hundred people, are done to give those in training experience in performing in front of a live crowd.

Cities visited in the past as part of what it’s called the Coconut Loop include Cocoa, Sanford, Orlando, Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, Largo, and others.

NXT is not expected to tour nationally with the current roster. Before the pandemic, there were a handful of live events around the United States with the main NXT roster but it looks like those are not returning yet.

WWE UK broadcaster BT Sport merging with Warner Bros. Discovery

WWE’s United Kingdom broadcaster BT Sport is joining Warner Bros. Discovery, AEW’s TV home in the United States, to create a new joint premium sport offering venture in the UK and Ireland. As part of the deal, BT Sport will transfer the operating businesses to Warner Bros. Discovery.

BT Sport took over the WWE television rights in the region from Sky Sports in January 2020, ending WWE’s and Sky’s 30-year relationship.

Meanwhile, Discovery took over WarnerMedia to create the new merged company, a company which also includes TNT and TBS, where AEW airs in the U.S.

While initially BT Sport and Eurosport will continue to operate as different brands, the two will be brought together under a single brand in the future.

AEW loses major ally at Warner as TNT/TBS General Manager exits merged company

Brett Weitz, the General Manager of TNT, TBS, & truTV who helped AEW expand their footprint on WarnerMedia, is transitioning out of his current role within the next 30 days according to Deadline.com.

Weitz helped AEW get their Rampage show on the air as well as the Battle of the Belts specials and was instrumental in the network’s negotiations with Tony Khan’s promotion. This is considered a major loss for AEW as they lost a big ally within the network.

His departure is due to the Discovery-WarnerMedia merger and his position was eliminated because of restructuring.

Weitz is also credited for the launch of Snowpiercer, the revival of Wipeout, Impractical Jokers, and other shows. He has been with the company for the past 14 years.

Warner Bros. Discovery will be doing their 2022-2023 Upfront presentation at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on May 18 and AEW is expected to be part of that.

Buy 3 get 4 tickets offer for SummerSlam 2022 at Nissan Stadium

With thousands of tickets unsold for SummerSlam, WWE is already offering a Me+3 four-pack promotion for tickets where you pay for three tickets and get four.

The Nissan Stadium in Nashville still has the floor seats largely unsold, with ringside seats going up to $3,000 each. The show is still two and a half months away but it will take some good effort for WWE to move enough tickets to make half the stadium look rather full.

The cheapest tickets start at just $25 plus taxes and fees and the ticket offer is restricted to the 300 Level, or otherwise known as the nosebleed section! Only one half of the stadium will be used with the west side of the stadium to be all blocked off.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com.

This is the first time that SummerSlam will be held in Nashville, Tennessee.

CBD and sports: Why are wrestlers consuming CBD?

As the popularity of CBD continues to grow, more and more people are wondering about its potential benefits for sports. CBD has been shown to help with inflammation, pain relief, and even anxiety and depression. And with so many consumption methods available, CBD use has become easier than ever. Oils and tinctures are the most popular way to take CBD. They’re easy to use and allow you to control the dosage. You can take them under your tongue or add them to food and drinks. Capsules are another popular option, especially if you’re looking for a discreet way to take CBD. They’re easy to take and offer pinpoint accuracy when it comes to dosing. Edibles are a great option if you want the benefits of CBD without the taste of hemp. Almost all of these products and more are available online at Smoke Cartel, and you can rest assured they are high quality and third-party tested, so you can just go ahead and choose according to your preference. In this blog post, we’ll take a look at how CBD is being used by professional wrestlers and discuss some of the potential benefits. If you’re new to CBD as an athlete, then continue reading to find out exactly why wrestlers are consuming it!

What is CBD?

CBD, otherwise known as cannabidiol, is the second most active cannabinoid within the cannabis plant, and also one of the most widely misunderstood. CBD has a very similar chemical makeup compared to THC but differs quite substantially. The first major difference between CBD and THC is the fact that CBD does not have intoxicating properties.

You might hear that CBD is not psychoactive, however, this is not true; it’s just not psychoactive in the same way that THC is psychoactive. The second major difference between CBD and THC would be the way that they interact with the body. THC mimics anandamide, which allows it to bind tightly to the CB1 receptors, whereas CBD loosely binds with CB1 receptors, increasing natural levels of anandamide.

Pain Management

In terms of why CBD has become popular with many sports people, especially wrestlers, one of the primary reasons is because it is a very effective treatment for pain management. Wrestling is a contact sport and often involves a lot of throwing and grappling, and as such injuries are pretty common.

If you are a wrestler, then you will understand the pain after a rough sparring session, which can inhibit your training quite a bit. By consuming CBD, you won’t be able to manage the pain much better, which will allow you to continue your training without being prohibited.

Inflammation

Anyone who has ever gone to the gym or done any form of exercise will know the pain that is experienced the day after. More than this, for someone who is wrestling or participating in some contact sport, you will understand the pain that is felt the next day after being tossed around quite a bit.

One of the primary reasons why CBD has become so popular for athletes, especially wrestlers, is because CBD is great at treating inflammation. Inflammation doesn’t necessarily only mean muscle soreness, but can also joint, especially if overtrained. This inflammation can have an impact on training and performance and utilizing CBD whilst training will allow you to train without any problems.

Soreness and Cramps

One thing that many people don’t understand about wrestling is the amount of training and practice that goes in, even in a single session. Another thing that many people don’t understand is the intensity of the training as well as the frequency, especially leading up to competitions. Missing one training session can be the reason why you might win or lose.

As a result, one thing that is pretty common from wrestling is fatigue, especially muscle fatigue. When your muscle is fatigued, it will try to repair itself and as a result, you will feel sore and stiff. This soreness can cause cramps, especially if you are working out whilst in pain. CBD is effective at treating soreness and preventing cramps, which means that you can focus on training.

What Else is CBD Used for?

In addition to being used for pain cramps, soreness, or inflammation, CBD has many other practical uses too. Current research indicates that CBD is quite effective at treating depression and anxiety at the correct dosages.

In addition to this, many people are reporting that they have a better time concentrating after consuming CBD, which is corroborated by statistics that show that people that suffer from ADHD can concentrate for prolonged periods after consuming CBD. It should be stated, however, that this all depends on the amount of CBD that you are consuming as well as the consumption method that is being used. For example, if you were to consume CBD using a vaporizer, you would only feel the effects for around 2 hours, whereas if you were to use an edible, those effects would be felt between 6 to 8 hours.
