The NXT North American title was vacated on NXT last night by Shawn Michaels on the basis that Solo Sikoa was not an original choice in last week’s fan voting so technically he was not supposed to wrestle Carmelo Hayes.
Hayes and Sikoa appeared in a backstage segment with HBK where they were informed about the situation. Hayes requested the title back but Michaels declined, saying he has to win it back at Halloween Havoc.
A five-man ladder match will determine the new champion at Halloween Havoc and Hayes automatically qualifies for it. Eight other individuals will participate in qualifying matches to see who will advance to the match.
Sikoa is now part of the main roster on Smackdown and is not expected to be part of NXT moving forward, which made it difficult to carry an NXT title.
“I made the NA title more valuable in a WEEK then any title reign in @WWENXT,” Sikoa wrote on Twitter. “Brought it to Smackdown with me and defended it. Keep in mind i never lost it. There is always more gold out there and i got my eyes set on it already.”
In a sarcastic tweet replying to Sikoa, Hayes responded with, “Thank you for your service.”
Speaking in a near 15-minute interview with News 12 ahead of Dynamite: Grand Slam, AEW President Tony Khan has promised he won’t “disappoint” with tomorrow’s episode.
Saying that he rarely has ever disappointed fans, and certainly never intentionally, the bullish Khan said that Dynamite: Grand Slam “will not be anything, anything, anything, like anything we’ve ever done before,” adding that he’s very excited for the show.
The show is headlined by Jon Moxley vs Bryan Danielson for the vacant AEW World title, one of the five title matches on the card.
In a different tweet, Khan also announced that Grand Slam this year has surpassed the gate of last year’s event even with much less fans in attendance and when tomorrow comes it could be the first $1 million Dynamite gate.
Rampage on TNT drew 470,000 viewers on Friday, up 41,000 viewers from the previous week. The show did the same 0.14 rating in 18-49 as last week and was #14 in the top 50 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
Appearing in an interview on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, MJF said that he is now being paid “stupid, absurd amount of money” and the good thing is that he did not have to sign a contract extension.
MJF wanted a money bump a few months ago and AEW President Tony Khan was ready to give him that as long as he signed a contract extension. MJF refused to signed a new deal and his contract will run out as before in 2024.
“I’m a businessman, I do what I have to do in order to ensure that what I need gets done,” he said. “It got done, I’m back, I’m making a stupid, absurd amount of money now and I didn’t have to sign a contract extension.”
He mentioned that in 2024, he will go to whoever is offering him the most amount of money and all he cares about is money.
MJF also talked about Cody Rhodes leaving AEW to go to WWE and said he doesn’t blame Cody one bit for his decision as Cody is a businessman just like him.
“Cody Rhodes did what’s best for Cody Rhodes and MJF always does what’s best to MJF, so kudos for him,” MJF said. He also called Rhodes “incredibly brave” for wrestling at HIAC with a torn pac and admitted he wouldn’t have done the same if he was in those shoes.
MJF did not want to comment about the All Out press conference and the backstage brawl that followed, saying it does not concern him. Asked if AEW needs CM Punk, MJF gave a diplomatic answer, saying that he and Punk had the greatest feud in AEW history and will go down as one of the greatest feuds of all time.
The first interview MJF did with Helwani earlier this year sparked a fight between himself and AEW President Tony Khan as his interview was not cleared by AEW and maybe said things that he shouldn’t have said.
The Internet is full of various games, many of which are slots. While different variations have different types of prizes, there’s always a chance that you can win big money just by playing slot games online. So, you might wonder, “How do I win at online slots?”.

The primary way to take advantage of the free slots is to know your strengths and weaknesses. And also how well you understand and know what to do if you find it standard or with great features and course, graphics, and app illustrations.
Check the games developer
There is a considerable layout difference between software providers and developers and widely known standard software developers. Check out the difference between the game developer to know the quality level you should expect.
The features, illustrations, user-friendliness, and graphics quality are differentiated and way better than verified mobile app developers. For example, there is a difference between unregistered sites, nameless and faceless developers, to BetMGM software developers, NetEnt. Another example is Playtech, a Bet365 game developer.

It is a fun-filled competition with as much chance of winning and losing, even if you know your way around a casino.
Putting yourself in financial turmoil for a chance at winning real money is reckless and trails to being a compulsive gambler. It is not so brave to put your means of livelihood into a game. This is not to discourage you from having a great time, but to have limitations you set and are comfortable with. It should not be your means of livelihood or personal prison.
Always Bet Max Lines and Coins
Before you start playing, remember that the deposit matters a lot for the first plays, especially. This improves your chances of potential bonuses, odds, jackpots, and offers. The more your deposit is, the higher, the better tips than other players on games you choose to play.
Your coin value, the amount you put on a line, should be decided from clear thoughts on how much you are willing to invest. You can also increase your coin value by the number of lines you have and increase your lines to the maximum number for your present slot game. It should be noted that the more lines you have, the more the number of bets you place.
Stick to Your Strategy
Once you have discovered your style and methods of playing, confirm how many games it applies to and if your wins are more incredible than without using the method. Are you going to work with small bet lines or bigger bets?
Some things you should do first are to find out if the site is legal and legitimate. It is not advisable to pick out any site without proof checking and burning your money into illegitimate sites. Second to this is betting small until you understand and can beat the sites. Learn the rules and learn from mistakes before going big. This is to avoid thinking you got cheated on by the site.
Stick to your style and be ready to upgrade your skills. It is a random number generator, and the chances of winning are probable. There are great tips to help you win—for example, cold streaks or frequent losing on a site. Stop competing and placing bets on deposit-draining sites.

The White Rabbit teases continued on Monday Night Raw last night as a QR code shown during a backstage segment led to a white rabbit playing a game of Hangman.
The question of the Hangman game was “Who Killed The World?” The rabbit then jumped on the alphabet until he guessed the correct answer which was “You Did.”
The video wrapped up with “Come With Me” and “9:23” flashing on the screen. 9:23 could be September 23, which is a Friday Night Smackdown this week.
The song White Rabbit was once again played during a commercial break on Raw, making it four nights in a row that the song was played during live events.
Two matches were added to the 2022 Extreme Rules card yesterday.
Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins will be meeting in the Fight Pit, a match which was made famous in NXT. Both Riddle and Rollins interfered in each others respective matches during Raw last night and Riddle ended up challenging Rollins again, who accepted.
The Fight Pit is in a ring with no ropes surrounded by a steel cage. There have been two Fight Pit matches in NXT before, one of which involved Riddle, his last match for NXT before he moved to the main roster in May 2020.
The other match announced is Bayley vs Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s title. In the show-closing angle, Bayley, SKY, and Kai continued their beatdown on Alexa Bliss and then took down Asuka and Bayley as well. The show ended with Bayley challenging Belair for the title.
Bayley already has a pinfall victory over the champ from the six-woman tag team match at Clash at the Castle earlier this month.
Bobby Lashley VS. Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the United States Championship
Rollins goes for the stomp and Lashley just stayed on his hands and knees and held off the stomp. After more great back and forth action, Rollins missed a corkscrew moonsault and Lashley hooks him in the hurt lock. Rollins kicks Lashley with a low blow but Matt Riddle’s music hits and he runs down to ringside. Rollins got distracted allowing Lashley to hit Rollins with a spear for the win.
Winner and Still WWE United States Champion: Bobby Lashley
They show a white limousine pulling into the garage and out of it comes Bayley and the new Women’s Tag Team champions Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai.
Damage Control then comes out with Bayley driving a golf cart. They started talking about Bianca Belair and Asuka and Alex Bliss who made their way to the ring and Bayley ended up getting hit and challenged to a match by Alexa Bliss.
Austin Theory VS. Kevin Owens
Theory attacks Owens before the bell. Owens gets in the ring and screams ring the bell and goes right after Theory. Theory goes to get the Money in the Bank briefcase, but Johnny Gargano took it from him and Owens was able to secure the victory with a pop up powerbomb.
Winner: Kevin Owens
The Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland and Butch) VS. The Street Profits
After a great match the Brutes get the victory.
Winners: The Brawling Brutes
Sarah interviews Rey Mysterio backstage.
In the back Johnny Gargano ran into the Alpha Academy and Kevin Owens and Alpha Academy challenged them to a match next week.
Rey Mysterio & Matt Riddle VS. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest)
Prior to the match, the Judgment Day tried to talk but when Dominik was handed the microphone, he was booed so loudly no one could hear him. Balor got the microphone back and Riddle’s music hit.
Interference by Ripley…Rey taking his mind off the match looking at Dominik at ringside and Rollins knocked down Riddle outside toward the end of the match. Rey got hit as soon as he got back in the ring and Balor hit the Coup de Grace on Rey for the win.
Winners: The Judgment Day
MizTV is next with special guest Dexter Lumis. As Miz kept trying to coax Lumis out, behind him there was a knife cutting a hole in the ring. Lumis then appears out of the hole in the ring and pulls the Miz into the hole, but Miz got away and then Lumis grabbed Ciampa who hit him and knocked Lumis down. Then Lumis appears out of the hole again and Ciampa and The Miz run out of the ring.
In the back they interview the Judgment Day and announce next week Damian Priest will face Matt Riddle in a one-on-one match. After the interview, Finn Balor confronts AJ Styles about their friendship and AJ pointed out he wants nothing to do with Judgment Day because he isn’t turning his back on all the people he cares about like Dominik did. Finn says remember and he put the old “Too Sweet” hand symbol up and walks away leaving AJ looking confused.
Alexa Bliss VS. Bayley
After Dakota Kai got the referee’s attention, Iyo Sky knocked Bliss off the top rope and Bayley hit the Rose Plant for the win.
Winner: Bayley
After the match Damage Control beat down Asuka and Bianca Belair and Bayley then challenges Bianca for the Raw Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules.
During the WWE events this past weekend, including on Friday Night Smackdown in between commercials, WWE played the song White Rabbit, from American rock band Jefferson Airplane.
The 1967 song was played in Anaheim during Smackdown and in Bakersfield and Oakland non-televised live events. The house lights were dimmed during the song and fans switched on their torches from their phones, creating a “firefly” atmosphere. Towards the end of the song, red lights took over the arena.
This left many fans confused and some are already speculating if this is a hint, or a tease, at the return of someone in particular, most notably “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.
Meanwhile, the tattoo artist who came up with the initial concept of The Fiend’s mask, Kyle A. Scarborough, uploaded a photo on Twitter of a white rabbit mask yesterday, writing the words, “feed your head,” adding more speculation that this is for Wyatt’s return.
So this happened during a commercial break on #Smackdown in the arena Friday night. It was not seen on tv. What this was for we don’t know yet. It was bizarre. They played the song “White Rabbit” while in darkness, then some red lights came on at the end. #wwepic.twitter.com/Tfte2PlRoU
In a long statement released on Instagram, Malakai Black confirmed that he requested his release from All Elite Wrestling and wrote that it was a combination of a lot of set-backs in life, promises which were not upheld, and complete demoralization of his life and career.
“This decision has been in my mind for the past six months,” Black wrote.
The former NXT champion noted that he did not like that private conversations between himself and AEW were released online, especially those surrounding his mental well-being and said that the rumors surrounding his conditional release and his marriage are not true.
“If it didn’t come from me, it didn’t happen. Stuff about conditional releases, stuff in my marriage or using said mental health to leverage the other when as I said before that part wasn’t even going to be part of the public conversation are false,” Black wrote. “My marriage is fine, I am fine. It’s just time to make sure those things stay that way.”
Black said that he would see everyone “soon enough.”
WWE’s days on Hulu are numbered as all content are set to be removed from the streaming service on Saturday, September 25.
The next-day rights for Monday Night Raw, NXT, Main Event, Level-Up, as well as Miz & Mrs, Total Bellas, and Total Divas all have an “EXP SAT” tag on them. The situation for Smackdown is different as ever since it moved to FOX, the FOX Sports app has been showing it the next day and there are only the latest four episodes of Smackdown on Hulu.
Hulu, which is majority-owned by Disney and part by NBCUniversal, had the next-day rights for WWE shows for the past 10 years but there seems to be no new deal in sight.
WWE co-CEO Nick Khan has said that multiple bidders will be involved in getting the next-day rights for WWE television shows and also left the door open for combining these rights with their main TV deal which expires in 2024 for an even bigger deal.
The company is still in talks with Hulu over an extension. NBCUniversal recently pulled all of its shows from Hulu and moved the next-day showing to its streaming service Peacock.
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus underwent surgery to remove an appendix which was about to burst.
Stratus said that after traveling 10 hours on Monday last week, she had intense pain in her stomach on Tuesday but with a high pain tolerance, she thought it was just cramps.
The former seven-time women’s champion joked that “Dr. Google” originally told her that appendicitis was pain in the lower right abdomen but another “Dr. Google” suggested that pain across the stomach is a sign that your appendix is about to go boom.
“Got 3 new scars to add to my body badges and one less organ … recovery hasn’t been too bad so far, definitely manageable,” she said, before thanking the operating room staff at Mackenzie Health in Ontario.
It is finally happening as WarGames is, for the first time, coming to the WWE main roster at the Survivor Series in November.
Speaking with The Ringer, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque confirmed that there will be a men’s and women’s WarGames matches on the show. These will replace the traditional Raw vs Smackdown matches that have dominated the Survivor Series lately.
The WCW concept was ported to NXT in 2017 and has been held every year since then. The difference between the WWE and WCW WarGames is that the double ring enclosed in a cage does not have a roof. It’s unclear if the original concept with the roof will return for the WWE version.
“This will not be Raw versus Smackdown. It will be much more story-line driven. I still look at it as a traditional component to Survivor Series in there because it’s large teams of people competing. We just upped the ante a little bit with WarGames and made it evolve,” Levesque said.
The TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts will be hosting Survivor Series: WarGames on November 26.
While he no longer seems to be appearing on All Elite Wrestling following the rumored conditional release, Malakai Black wrestled at an indie show yesterday for Prestige Pro Wrestling and addressed the crowd regarding the rumors about him.
Black said that he understands that all of them have questions but in 22 years, he has never taken a step back to re-calibrate his life. He said he’s had these blinders on when it comes to his career and it’s what eventually got him to the big leagues in the United States.
“Please allow me to take a few weeks, and maybe a few months, to recalibrate myself. I promise you that this is not goodbye, this is ‘we will see each other soon,'” Black said as fans cheered.
Black promised that he will be answering all the questions in due time.
The former NXT champion last appeared for AEW at the All Out pay-per-view and then took a bow and blew a kiss to the fans before heading to the back.
Following last week’s record low viewership, Impact improved just a tiny bit, getting 67,000 viewers for this week’s show, up just 7,000 from last week. Impact pulled the same 0.01 rating in 18-49 and did not chart. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
After being stuck at around 10,000 tickets, Dynamite: Grand Slam got moving this week and AEW managed to sell around 2,500 more tickets after the main event of Mox vs Danielson for the vacant AEW World title was announced.
With 12,500 tickets out according to WrestleTix, there are around 2,000 seats left in the current setup at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Not all sections in the stadium have been opened and while the attendance will fall short of last year’s 20,000-plus, AEW will probably surpass last year’s gate money as this year’s Dynamite: Grand Slam tickets were far more expensive than last year.
AEW will have four hours of television on Wednesday as they will also tape two hours of Rampage just like last year.
Dynamite: Grand Slam will be a yearly tradition for AEW at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in September.
Sorry boys, but Mandy Rose is officially off the list! The NXT Women’s champion announced on social media that she is now engaged to former NXT star Tino Sabbatelli.
“My heart is so full,” Rose wrote, accompanied by several photos showing the new bling on her finger.
The two have been dating since early 2018 when Sabbatelli was still part of NXT. He was released from the company in 2020 and then rehired after he wrestled a few for AEW, but got the pink slip again last year.
Rose has excelled since moving back to NXT and has been the women’s champion for 326 days and counting. She recently also unified the NXT UK Women’s title at Worlds Collide.
WWE held a press conference at the Dawg House Saloon and Sports Book located inside the Resorts World Las Vegas to officially announce Roman Reigns vs Logan Paul for the Undisputed WWE Universal title at the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event in Saudi Arabia.
Michael Cole hosted the press conference and first invited Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn to the stage. Cole then invited Logan Paul to join them as well.
WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul Levesque, was the last man to come in to make the announcement of the match.
Triple H thanked all the fans and media who came in for the announcement. He mentioned that WWE is all about spectacles and events such as WrestleMania and Clash at the Castle and then mentioned next year’s Mania at SoFi Stadium.
Levesque said that speaking of spectacles, they cannot not mention Saudi Arabia and Crown Jewel and then announced “a match like no other, a spectacle like no other,” as Roman Reigns defends the Undisputed WWE Universal title against Logan Paul.
He called Paul a “culture phenomenal with 100 million social media followers” and said he earned his respect with what he did in the ring already.
Speaking about Reigns, he said there is no one in this industry even close that touches the level that Roman Reigns is in right now.
Both Reigns and Paul then took the podium for a few words.
“Everything Triple H said up here is true,” Reigns said as a kid in the audience yelled, “you suck!” That prompted Reigns to crack a smile and respond, “I’m the greatest of all time, kid!”
The champ said that he appreciates Paul and he could be the third match on any card he headlines but being in the main event is a big mistake.
“In Saudi Arabia, I’m gonna show you what God Mode really looks like,” Reigns said.
Paul took the podium next and thanked WWE and Triple H for trusting him that in his third match he’s wrestling Roman Reigns in the main event of a premium live event. He said that come Crown Jewel, he will deliver a performance like we’ve never seen before.
“Roman Reigns will acknowledge me on November 5,” Paul said.
The press conference ended with both Reigns and Paul coming face-to-face and Reigns pushing Paul away.
Sasha Banks and Naomi continued their busy week by attending the launch event for Lucasfilm’s original series Andor at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California.
The former WWE Women’s Tag Team champions shared the red carpet with many other celebrities and it was Banks who stole the show by appearing in a revealing Princess Leia outfit.
Both of them were at the New York Fashion Week last week walking the runway and enjoying their time away from the bright lights of WWE.
Banks, real name Mercedes Varnado, was part of The Mandalorian series but is not going to be part of season three.
