Brawling Brutes become #1 contenders for tag team titles

The Brawling Brutes became the number one contenders for the undisputed WWE Tag Team titles last night on Smackdown after they defeated Hit Row, The New Day, and Imperium in a fatal four-way match.

Butch and Ridge Holland, along with Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, replaced Alpha Academy and Los Lotharios who were in the original match a few weeks ago on Monday Night Raw but that match was interrupted by Braun Strowman.

The nearly 20-minute main event ended when Imperium hit the Imperial Bomb on Kofi Kingston but Ridge Holland made a blind tag and pinned Kingston himself.

The Usos vs The Brawling Brutes will now be taking place on next week’s Smackdown, a show which also features Roman Reigns live in person.

Rampage TV report for 09/16/2022

Arena: MVP Arena
City: Albany, NY

Last Week’s Rating: 429,000 overall; 0.14 in 18-49 demo

It’s Saturday morning, and you know what that means…  it’s time for our Rampage Review!

Matt Hardy vs Darby Allin

Backstory: Hardy challenged Darby on Weds

JR welcomed us, along with Schiavone, Excalibur & Jericho.

This feels like a match we’ve seen a million times already.  Don’t know that it is, but it feels like it.

Wrestling was the order of the day as this got going: lockup, both looking for the advantage, both working the arm, Matt yelling ‘delete!’ for each arm-wringer.  After flipping out, Darby was run-through by Hardy, responding with a crucifix pin for two but caught with a shot to the face going for a dive through the ropes.

Turning the tables, Allin flung Matt into the steps at ringside, heading to the top with Hardy sprawled on the apron, but missed the senton.  Be feeling that when he’s sixty.  Along with being drilled back-first into the ring post.

Zeroing in on the back, Hardy landed shots to the lower spine, Allin rebounding, repeatedly flinging his body into Matt in the corner until being snatched into the Side Effect, Hardy beckoning to a crowd that sounded a little tired but were up for a ‘delete’ or two.  Fighting back, Darby countered the Twist of Fate into a backslide, then slipped out of a suplex into a Scorpion Death Drop as the ref began his count with both guys down.

JR was doing an excellent job putting over the pair, sounding genuine as he did.

Crucifix Bomb from way up after Matt caught Darby atop the buckle.  Hardy to the top, missing with a moonsault, Code Red from Allin then the Fuller Leglock for the victory.

Matt took an awful lot of this match. Unlike Jungle Boy the other day, Allin had no injury coming in.

Good opener though.

Afterwards, the lights went out, Brody King was out along with Julia, laying Hardy out then challenging Darby & Sting to a no-DQ tag match next week.  Can’t say this feud feels evergreen, but it’s a pre-built match to add to next week’s card.

WINNER: Darby Allin

Eddie Kingston promo package, challenging Sammy Guevara for next Friday – ‘gonna beat the piss outta you in Queens’.  Kingston’s beard has grown a bit.

Claudio & Yuta in-ring interview: after next week, the BCC are guaranteed two world champs.  Not so fast.  Claiming dibs on his eighth world title reign, the only company’s title he’s never held, Jericho challenged Castagnoli, also for Grand Slam.

Except these guys took about ten minutes to say that.

Jade interview along with Kiera & Leila.  The usual – no challengers left etc.  ‘The red hot’ Diamante interrupted to make the challenge, claiming she was bringing a mystery Miami woman – ‘the baddest bitch’ – with her for the match next week.  Jade’s also got rid of Stokely.

Penelope Ford vs Willow Nightingale

Backstory: None

A test of strength didn’t go well for Ford, Willow snatching a side-headlock, making Penelope wave to the crowd while in the hold.  Two quick roll-ups brought two-counts for Nightingale, a heavy chop and bodyslam leading to a diving splash/cross-body for another two.

After she missed with a Pounce, Ford took advantage, planting Willow on the apron, springboarding out of the corner, dropping knees-first as the ads arrived.

Not that it’d helped much as we returned, Penelope in trouble, Nightingale burying her with a spinebuster for yet another two.  Willow went for a clothesline but Penelope Matrix’d/bridged out, snapping back up into a cutter for two of her own as Jericho proclaimed her Sports Entertainer OTW.

Missing off the top, Willow blasted Penelope with a Pounce, right into the ropes, could’ve gone badly.  Backslide for Nightingale’s 90th two-count, pumpkick in response from Ford, who then applied the Indian Deathlock for the tap.

Decent action but as with Hardy/Allin, it felt like they were trying to get both over at the same time: one dominating the match but the other winning.

WINNER: Penelope Ford

Hangman w DO & Lexi.  Grand Slam Golden Ticket match next week, winner gets a world title shot in the future.  Didn’t we just have a bloody ladder match for that?

Page apologized for what happened at the PPV.  The DO accepted, they’re all in that match. Silver said he’s gonna feel like he’s in a chocolate factory after winning.  Jose interrupted, again talking up Ten.  Rush promised to beat them all, particularly Page.

Ethan Page vs Danhausen

Backstory: Page challenged DH, starting his quest for All-Atlantic Title

Quite why defeating someone who tends to lose in 30 seconds springboards one toward title contention, I’m not sure.  Excalibur tried to explain the stupid storyline involving the Firm.

Danhausen as usual got a nice response from the crowd.

Wicked boot to the face from Page as JR and Jericho talked him up on comms.  After mimicking the Curse, ‘Hausen slapped him, Page responded with the Ego’s Edge.

WINNER: Ethan Page

Starks promo, explaining that Hobbs throwing QT etc at him ‘threw him off but now he has his full attention’.  ‘Think about all the people you love’.  Promised to see him ‘face to face’ in NY.  Very good promo.

Samoa Joe vs Josh Woods, ROH TV Title

Backstory: Interrupted Joe, demanded match, sky is blue

I don’t care about ROH, or its titles, or Josh Woods.  I’m absolutely sick of having to sit through Ring of Honor stuff on Rampage.  It’s been six bloody months.

Apparently, the crowd agreed, staying glued to their seats until Joe’s music hit.  Ian Riccaboni joined on comms; Bobby Cruise ring-announced.

Starting slowly, this one finally crackled to life after a slap from Woods woke the beast, leading to a slugfest in the middle, jabs from Joe, Woods blocking the headbutt, twisting Joe’s arm as he fell through the ropes, whereafter Nese dropped the arm across the ropes on the other side.

Break time.

Greeted by a triangle hold as we returned, the attack on Joe’s arm continuing, allowing Woods to fight out of a Joe sleeper, dropping Joe arm-first for two slaps of the mat.  A Manhattan Drop, boot to the face, senton combo saw Joe fight back, the crowd only alive when he did.  Snap-powerslam out of the corner, kickout after 2 by Woods.

The commentators again did a great job talking up Joe.

After a distraction, Joe was blasted with a kick to the face, a sloppy-looking knee to the face/GTS-like move for another two (is that a sign?), Woods on top, attacking Joe as he sagged in the corner but being blasted with an STO before being hoisted up top.  MUSCLLLLLLE BUSTER!  Uno, dos, tres.

Continuing the theme: one guy dominated, the other won.  You can’t get everyone over at once.

Post-scuffle, Sterling and Nese joined Woods in attacking Joe, until that handsome bastard Wardlow continued his heated feud with Sterling.  The two big guys eyed each other before clinking belts.  Yet another contest added to next week’s Rampage – a tag –  as they shook hands, ending the show.

WINNER: Samoa Joe

Next Dynamite:

  • Jon Moxley vs Bryan Danielson, AEW World Title
  • Swerve in our Glory vs Acclaimed, AEW Tag Titles
  • Storm vs Athena vs Baker vs Deeb, AEW Women’s Title
  • Pac vs Orange Cassidy, AEW All-Atlantic Title
  • Chris Jericho vs Claudio Castagnoli, ROH World Title

Next Rampage (2hrs):

  • Hook & Action Bronson vs 2.0
  • Sammy Guevara vs Eddie Kingston
  • Jade Cargill vs Diamante, TBS Title
  • Hobbs vs Starks
  • Rey Fenix vs Jungle Boy
  • Darby & Sting vs HOB, no-DQ
  • Golden Ticket Battle Royal for future AEW Title shot (Penta, Archer, Lethal in addition to the guys mentioned during the show)

Overall impressions

Boy I really haven’t missed this show.  Perhaps not watching is part of why I’ve enjoyed Dynamite so much the past two weeks?  Anyway, nothing happened, you don’t need to watch it but they have done a good job building and filling next week’s double card.  Which is loaded.  Though this does illustrate just how much great talent they have.  Perhaps we could see more of it on Fridays in competitive matches?

Check Out…

  • Starks promo was the best thing on the show and it lasted about .30

Thanks for reading.  Have a great weekend!

Smackdown TV report for 09/16/2022

Arena: Honda Center
City: Anaheim, CA

Logan Paul comes out first. After his podcast with Roman Reigns, Paul challenged him and out comes Paul Heyman with the Bloodline. Heyman gets in the ring and shakes Logan’s hand and says he got this. The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn outside of the ring by the announce table.

Heyman says if there is anyone outside the WWE that could be a Paul Heyman guy it’s Logan Paul. Heyman then tells Logan he needs to pick a fight with someone else. Heyman then tells Logan he does not like him and needs to handle him and calls for Solo.

Logan says he bets Heyman he could knock Heyman out and be out of the ring before Solo gets in the ring. Sami Zayn steps in and tells Heyman he is not the right man for this job and Zayn says he should handle Logan Paul.

As Sami was trying to talk to Logan and gets close. Logan punches Zayn and knocks him down and The Usos and Sikoa get in the ring and Paul jumps out of the ring and Ricochet comes out who has a match with Zayn next…

Ricochet VS. Sami Zayn

Logan Paul is outside in Ricochet’s corner and Heyman and the Bloodline are still out there in Zayn’s corner.

Ricochet gets on the top rope and Jimmy Uso gets on the apron, Ricochet gets down and Logan Paul gets on the apron as Sami goes for the pin after a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Ricochet kicks out. Jey Uso this time gets involved and gets kicked off the apron by Ricochet and Sami grabs him and back suplexes him. Jey slides in the ring causing the official to procrastinate on counting the pin. Ricochet kicks out at 2. Sami goes over to the Bloodline and starts yelling at Jey and then gets out of the ring and goes head-to-head arguing with Jey. Jimmy attempts to separate the two and Ricochet comes over the top rope and takes all three out.

Ricochet throws Sami back in the ring and hits a shooting star press for the win.

Winner: Ricochet

After the match, the Bloodline gets on the apron and out comes Madcap Moss with a chair in hand, who was announced to be facing Solo Sikoa later for the North American Championship. The Bloodline back down.

Karrion Kross talks about Drew McIntyre and says he is never going to get out tick tock.

Max and Maxine Dupri in the ring next, they are here to show the Maximum Male Models back to school collection. As Mansoor and Mace were posing, Braun Strowman’s music hit and ran through the two.

After Strowman powerbombs Mansoor, Alpha Academy comes out and Otis attacks Strowman from behind. Otis power slams Strowman and both he and Gable jump out of the ring celebrating as Braun sits up in the ring and stares at them as Gable turns and sees Strowman getting up. Strowman rips his shirt off and tells Otis to get back in the ring but Gable talks Otis out of getting in the ring.

Bayley VS. Raquel Rodriguez

After trying to interfere, Raquel brings Dakota in the ring and slams her on Bayley then does an elbow off the ropes onto both of them. Iyo grabs Rodriguez and rakes her eyes and Bayley hits the rose plant and gets the win.

Winner: Bayley

After the match, the three team up and start beating Rodriguez and Shotzi comes out for the save.

Kayla Braxton was starting to interview Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan comes in and challenges Ronda to an extreme rules match.

Drew McIntyre comes out and calls out Karrion Kross.

In the back the Bloodline is hyping Solo for his match and as Solo goes to leave for his match, he stops Jey and says he got this and he seems a little off his game tonight and then asks Sami Zayn if he was coming.

Solo Sikoa VS. Madcap Moss for the NXT North American Championship

After Sami pulls Sikoa out of the way of Moss’s attack, Moss is distracted by Sami causing Sikoa to hit a superkick and his finisher.

Winner and Still NXT North American Champion: Solo Sikoa

Hit Row VS. The New Day VS. Imperium VS. Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland & Butch) in a fatal four-way #1 contenders match

Imperium hits their finisher on Kofi but prior to Kaiser jumping on Kofi, Holland tagged himself in and threw Kaiser out and pinned Kofi.

Winners: Brawling Brutes

Next week the Brawling Brutes take on the Usos for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship

Braun Strowman on WWE return: “I cried”

Speaking on the Corey Graves podcast After The Bell, the recently-returned Braun Strowman said that he was overcome with emotions after he made his return to WWE and cried backstage.

The monster among men made a surprise return a few weeks ago on Monday Night Raw, destroying Los Lotharios, The Street Profits, Alpha Academy, and The New Day. It was his first appearance on WWE television in 14 months after he was surprisingly cut from his big-money contract in the Summer of 2021.

“I don’t want to admit it because I’m supposed to be this big giant tough monster, I had to swallow back the emotions,” Strowman told Graves. “It was really really hard to stay in character.”

Strowman said that while he was able to stay in character on television, that changed when he got backstage.

“I cried when I came back through the curtain,” he continued. “Once I got away from everybody, I finally was able to absorb it and let it in.”

The former WWE Universal champion said that he is now “home” and appreciates the pop he got when he walked out on Raw.

NFT: what is it, and is it worth investing in it?

You have many non-traditional investment options today when you are looking for money. One of the fun ways is becoming a member of a reliable casino like 7Slots and placing real money wagers on the games it offers. You can also opt to go with NFT, an investment option we will look at in detail below to decide whether it is worth spending your hard-earned cash or you will go with something else.

What Is NFT?

NFT generally stands for a non-fungible token. Non-fungible, in simple terms, is something unique that is irreplaceable. NFTS can be anything digital from music, drawings, your brain downloaded and converted into an AL, or any other collectibles and art presentations. However, there has been a lot of buzz around using technology to sell digital art.

How Do NFTs Work?

NFTs are part of the Ethereum blockchain at a very high level. However, note that other blockchains have also implemented their versions of the non-fungibles. Ethereum is a kind of cryptocurrency such as bitcoin or dogecoin, but it also keeps track of who is trading or holding NFT. Individuals can sell and buy real-life collectibles in the form of NFTs. For some non-fungible tokens, you can get ownership as well as copyright information of the items. You generally trade the NFTs online through cryptocurrencies operating under a similar code. For instance, if you purchase the token, you will store it in a wallet the same way you would crypto.

NFTs are all about tokenizing artwork offering uniqueness, hence creating digital ownership certificates that permit the selling and buying of unique items. All transactions involving NFTs are usually recorded on a public ledger that is available for anyone who wants to view. It allows people to view the history of ownership of any item. NFTs offer an investment opportunity. However, unlike physical art, it’s about the ability to attract the highest bids during a sale. It’s worth the investment if you sell an item for a higher price than you bought it since you will have made a profit. NFTs became quite popular when some people were making millions from digital items. Examples of some of the most expensive non-fungible tokens ever sold are

  • $69. 3 Million for Everyday: The First 5000 Days- A digital work from Mike Winkelmann, an American graphic designer, is among the most costly NFTs sold. It is a collage of Beeple’s earlier artwork. It was purchased for 69.3 million at a Christie’s sale auction by Metakovan, an NFT investor.
  • $ 52.7 Million for Clock- This depicts a dynamic timer that counts the number of days Julian Assange spent in prison. The founder of WikiLeaks was involved in a highly controversial case where he was facing extradition from Britain to America on various espionage charges and 175 years behind bars. Pak, a digital artist, created the item. He collaborated with Assange in a bid to support his legal costs. It was auctioned in 2022 to AssangeDAO, a decentralized organization established to crowdfund the sale.
  • $28.9 Million for Human One- Another record-breaking NFT is Human One, Which fetched 28.9 million dollars. It is one of the first physical arts by Beeple. It was auctioned in 2021 at Christie’s. It is a 3D moving sculpture with four digital screens displaying an endless video of an astronaut’s journey at different times of the day.
  • $23.7 Million For CryptoPunk #5822- Another popular NFT project is CryptoPunk #5822, which sold for 8,000 ETH translating to 23.7 million dollars to the CEO of a blockchain technology startup. It is made from one of the rarest unknown editions, with only nine of them in the entire collection, making it extra special. It also belongs to one of the 333 created with a bandana.
  • $ 11.75 Million for CryptoPunk#7523- Another valuable NFT is CryptoPunk #7523. It was auctioned in 2021 for 11.75 million dollars. It is also one of the scarce alien editions and the only alien to wear a mask inspired by the COVID pandemic. It is one of the features that the buyer found appealing.

Should You Invest in NFT?

Given that NFT works like other physical artwork, you should treat digital art like any investment opportunity. Ensure you do your homework well, especially when confirming the value of digital art you are buying and whether it has the potential to grow. Proper research is mandatory if you do not want to end up with losses. Remember that, like other markets, the success of NFTs also depends on supply and demand. When there is less demand, the item’s value will probably reduce. Limited supply, on the other hand, often means the value of the NFT will grow. It’s also advisable to steer off what is hot at the moment seeing that NFT is still a new form of asset. It’s better to look for a wide variety of assets that can help to spread risks. This way, some might fail, and others may succeed so that you do not end up with 100% losses.

Closing Remarks

A few people have made millions trading NFTs, making them a lucrative investment option. However, it is crucial to be very careful when investing in non-fungible tokens so you do not lose all your money. Reading the article above can give you a guideline you can use when you want to invest in NFT.

Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat returning to the ring after 12 years

Big Time Wrestling announced that WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will be returning to the ring 12 years after he last laced up his wrestling boots.

The BTW: Return of the Dragon event in Raleigh, North Carolina, will take place on Sunday, November 27 from the Dorton Arena.

Steamboat recently admitted that he declined an offer to be part of the Ric Flair Last Match event in late July and in the same interview he said that while he can do some in-ring stuff, he doesn’t want fans to remember him for that if he returned.

“I know when I wrestled Jericho at WrestleMania 25 and then we had the return match at Backlash in a singles,” Steamboat said. “I want them to remember me that last time I was in there with Jericho when they chanted, ‘You still got it.’ I don’t want to scar that phrase.”

Steamboat added that he doesn’t want the fans to think that “maybe he should have stayed retired,” so he passed on the opportunity to share the ring with Flair for one last time.

What is Clenbuterol and where can you buy it online

Clenbuterol is a drug that helps increase muscle mass and decrease fat mass. Studies suggest it has anabolic effects, which allow the body to build muscle.

People buy Clenbuterol for a few reasons: to preserve muscle mass, to avoid gaining fat, and to help build muscle. It is us

Benefits of Clenbuterol

  • Loss of fat
  • Improved blood flow
  • Boosted energy
  • Suppresses appetite
  • The diuretic effect
  • There’s no suppression of testosterone.

Improved blood flow

Clenbuterol increases adrenaline levels, which makes the body’s blood flow better. This can help bodybuilders do more reps because their muscles will be stronger. But if your tendons are tight, it can stop you from growing muscle. Clenbuterol makes your fascia flexible. This helps your muscles grow bigger.

People using the product say they feel more oxygenated, recover faster after workouts, and feel less lazy.

The fat loss

Clenbuterol helps your body by stimulating your central nervous system. It also makes your body temperature go up by one degree. When your body is hotter, it sweats more. This makes you lose weight indirectly because you burn more calories than you eat, even when resting.

People who use Clenbuterol can eat less food and still lose more weight than people who don’t use Clenbuterol.

Clenbuterol helps you lose weight by turning triglycerides into fatty acids.

Energy Booster

Pre-workout meals usually give you more energy for your workout. They have stimulants in them, like caffeine. Their job is to pump up your body and prepare it for the exercise. Because Clenbuterol has stimulant effects, it works as a pre-workout supplement.

Some users may experience a “crash” after using Clenbuterol. This is because the high energy levels result in burning more fat. This is a good thing because it means that you will be able to work out more intensely. Clenbuterol not only increases your energy level but also increases your stamina.

Helps Suppress Your Appetite

Clenbuterol makes you not feel hungry. You won’t eat as much as you usually would during the day. So you will lose weight. This happens because it speeds up the caloric burn.

Clenbuterol helps people not eat as much food. This is because it makes them feel like they don’t need to eat as much.

It’s a diuretic

Clenbuterol can help people who have water retention. It helps the body get rid of extra water. This is because Clenbuterol makes you sweat a lot.

However, if you are on a Clenbuterol cycle, ensure you drink lots of water. Otherwise, you could become dehydrated because of the low sodium levels in your body.

Remember:

Clenbuterol can help you lose water weight, but it will all return once you stop taking the drug.

It doesn’t affect testosterone production.

Clenbuterol does not affect testosterone production. Most people do not like taking anabolic steroids because they think it will reduce their natural testosterone production. But this isn’t the case with Clenbuterol.

How much Clenbuterol to take

The dosage of the drug you take depends on what you need it for. For example, someone with a respiratory illness may be prescribed two daily pills. But someone trying to build muscle or lose weight might take up to 6-8 capsules daily.

Your dosage also depends on your body weight and sensitivity to other drugs.

The dosage is typically the same for men and women. This is not true for other anabolic steroids. Clenbuterol affects how the body works rather than how the body makes testosterone.

What Does a Basic Clenbuterol Cycle Look Like?

It is easier to build a tolerance to Clenbuterol. This means that users must start with smaller doses and increase them slowly – every third day.

Each person’s tolerance and results are different. This means that you should only take as much as you can handle. You may discuss this with a professional before moving ahead with the cycle.

Clenbuterol cycles usually last for 4-6 weeks. However, Clenbuterol can also be cycled for two weeks on, followed by two weeks off, or two days on/2 days out.

Two weeks worth of NXT taped yesterday in Orlando

WWE taped two weeks worth of NXT yesterday at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

It’s unclear why the next two weeks of NXT will not be live but last year the same thing was done to transform the PC to the colorful 2.0 theme so it could be that over the next weeks, work will be done to get ready for black and gold NXT.

In a video which aired following the conclusion of the one-year episode on Tuesday, the NXT 2.0 logo was changed to a black and gold trim, and while it kept the new NXT font, it dropped 2.0 from the name.

There will be one notable return of a former champion on next week’s show, a champion who never lost his title but had to vacate it due to an injury.

Edge off WWE TV with storyline knee injury

Edge will be off television for a while as WWE announced a storyline injury for the Rated-R Superstar, saying that he suffered a grade 2 MCL strain thanks to the attack of Judgment Day.

The WWE Hall of Famer was viciously attacked with a chair by Dominik Mysterio on Monday Night Raw and then Finn Balor hit the Coup de Grace on his knee to finish him off.

Edge, who has limited appearances on his current WWE contract, returned at SummerSlam after he was booted out of the faction he created following Hell In A Cell in early June.

The Canadian recently hinted at wanting to retire next year in Toronto.

NXT Takeover name returning starting with Halloween Havoc

Multiple industry insiders are reporting that WWE is bringing back the Takeover name for future NXT premium live events starting with the upcoming Halloween Havoc on Saturday, October 22.

NXT used Takeover from the first event in 2014 on the WWE Network until last year, with the last event marketed under the Takeover name being Takeover 36 in August.

NXT Takeover 36 featured a main event of Karrion Kross vs Samoa Joe for the NXT title in what ended up being Joe’s last match for WWE as well.

When NXT 2.0 came to life in September of last year, the Takeover name was dropped completely and any premium live events were simply marketed under their name.
