A Seth Rollins comment on Raw did not sit well with current 24/7 champion Dana Brooke and Brooke voiced her displeasure in a tweet.
During commentary for Ali vs Theory on Raw, guest commentator Seth Rollins poked fun at Theory saying that he has a better chance of cashing in his briefcase on Dana Brooke.
Brooke has not featured much on television lately but she remains the 24/7 champion, a championship which has taken a major backseat since the Triple H regime took over in July.
“Talk is CHEAP!! I work my ass off every single day & will not tolerate this shit anymore,” Brooke wrote, replying to a tweet published by Sportskeeda with Rollins’ quote and his photo on commentary.
“I can promise you I am the hardest working WOMAN around, never have I taken off work, always worked through injuries, proved multiple times I can fit any position given & DO IT W/ A SMILE!”
Reaction online was split, some siding with Brooke while others suggested that it was done in character and she took it personal.

A new-look Nikki Cross returned on Monday Night Raw last night, ditching her super hero gimmick.
Cross interfered in the main event between Bianca Belair and Bayley, first taking out Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, and the referee with a flying body cross from the top rope and outside the ring, and then took out Bianca Belair, allowing Belair to cover as another referee counted the three.
But Cross was not done yet as after the three-count, she stormed the ring and took out Bayley too.
Cross was last seen taking her off super hero mask on the September 26 episode of Raw after losing to Candice LaRae. She debuted her Almost Super Hero gimmick last year, winning the Raw Women’s title and then the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles with Rhea Ripley until she turned heel earlier this year.

The Miz says Johnny is right, there is a secret between The Miz and Dexter Lumis. The night that the Miz was “going to win the United States Championship,” Dexter targeted the Miz for his mind. Dexter was jealous because The Miz chose Ciampa, and Dexter felt he should have had Ciampa’s spot. Johnny Gargano interrupted the Miz who was claiming Ciampa was missing, and Gargano said Ciampa is not missing because he just messaged him, and he is injured and that is why he hasn’t been here. Miz needs to tell the real truth.
As Miz says he has been telling the truth and nothing but the truth, this leads to the arrival of R-Truth. Truth then challenges the Miz and the Miz said he wants Truth and Gargano and Truth say at the same time “you can’t handle the Truth.”

Bianca Belair is interviewed and says if she has to take out Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai to get to Bayley that is what she will have to do.
As Gargano was walking in the back, The Miz meets him and says he got Candice a get well soon card and wants to sit down and talk with Gargano and Gargano said all you need to do is tell the truth and if he doesn’t, next week he is telling. Then he throws the card back at the Miz and says, “You didn’t even sign it, you’re rich put some money in it! Jeez,” and walked away.

New Japan Pro Wrestling President Takami Ohbari wrote a tweet saying that the company is doing everything in its power to ensure all the advertised matches on November 5 take place, especially those which include champions.
The tweet is a direct response to Karl Anderson, the promotion’s NEVER Openweight champion, who last week said that he would be missing the NJPW show in Osaka because he’s booked to be part of Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
“We are doing all we can to ensure every signed match in Osaka on November 5 happens as promised,” Ohbari wrote. “We expect all wrestlers, especially champions, to honor their advertised commitments.”
In a video posted by Anderson and Gallows, Gallows said that NJPW didn’t confirm the booking through him first and now that he’s double-booked, Anderson will only go where the light shines bright and will defend his title under his own terms.
The world of wrestling is massively popular with lots of fans in a wide range of countries, from the US to Japan. Naturally, some of those people may wish to place bets on the outcome of fights and events and they may do so using online bookmakers.
In this guide, we’ll take a look at how to make wrestling bets online with sportsbooks and betting sites. We’ll also look at how wrestling works and the types of bets that people can place.
But first, let’s explore the benefits of using online bookmakers as opposed to physical betting shops
The benefits of using an online bookmaker
There are many perks to using an online bookmaker compared with a brick-and-mortar shop. One obvious benefit is greater convenience and variety. With physical betting shops, you need to travel there to make a bet. If you want to cash in that bet, you must travel back there with your betting slip — which some people lose!
If you live somewhere with few betting shops, you may have limited variety too. So, if the odds they offer aren’t great, you may not have the luxury of going next door to a different shop with better odds.
With an online bookmaker, you can search to see who’s offering the best odds with the help of odds checkers and comparison sites. You can also research different betting companies by reading online reviews on sites such as BestOdds.com.
There are other potentially financially beneficial perks to using an online bookmaker over a physical shop too. One of these is the ability to access a welcome bonus when you first sign up online.
One of the most popular bonuses you can receive is the matched first bet or first deposit. So, when you first sign up, if you deposit or bet $100, the betting site will double the stake or credit your account with the equivalent sum. Regular online players may also receive deals, coupons and free betting credit.
These are things you don’t get with physical bookmakers. When you first step inside, you can barely expect to receive a hello let alone a 50% bonus.
About wrestling and betting
Some people may not realize how old the sport of wrestling is. It has a history stretching back to the times of the Ancient Greeks. Professional wrestling, however, has been around for a lot fewer years.
The main professional organization is World Wrestling Entertainment, also known as WWE. It was previously known as the World Wrestling Federation (WWF).
The WWE organizes fights and events mainly in the US, but also in Canada and other parts of the world, such as the UK and Europe.
It signs fighters to a roster and pits them against each other for different titles and belts. Fights can involve just two fighters, or there could be tag team matches. Fights can also involve weapons and cages around the ring.
It’s possible to make different types of bets on these matches and events. For example, you can pick a fighter to win a match or choose their method of victory. You could also back the winner of events such as the Summer Slam, the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania.
How to use an online bookmaker for wrestling bets
Using an online bookmaker for wrestling bets couldn’t be easier. A benefit that we didn’t mention in the section above is that betting apps and websites are often very user-friendly.
They’re also very accessible, meaning you can download and install apps on most mobile devices nowadays.
Once you’re signed up, check for any welcome bonuses and then have a look through the sports for wrestling.
You’ll likely be shown a list of all the upcoming or live fights and events. You simply click each one to see the odds on:
Moneyline bets (win/lose)
Proposition bets for different types of outcomes
Event winners
Some betting sites offer enhanced odds and special deals close to the time of big wrestling events such as WrestleMania or the Royal Rumble, so it’s always worth keeping an eye on things.
Another benefit of betting with an online bookmaker is that if you win, you’ll receive an immediate payout. There’s no need to go down to the bookmakers and cash in. Your account will be credited as soon as the wrestling match has ended.

Just days after his son Tristen passed away, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash spoke about the tragedy on his Kliq This podcast.
Nash said that his 26-year-old son suffered a seizure in his room and had a cardiac arrest because of it. He said his son was dead in the room by the time the EMTs came but they managed to revive him in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Nash recounted how Tristen was not feeling well days before his death and both of them decided to stop drinking cold turkey.
At the hospital, doctors hooked up his son to a breathing tube and placed a brain activity monitor but the efforts of everyone were unfortunately not enough.
At 1:45AM on Wednesday, a doctor walked into their room to talk. Nash said that he didn’t want his son to hear so he suggested to go to a different room. The doctor said that his son was in a coma but Nash said that when they whispered into his ear a few times, his heartbeat got elevated and thought he was still listening.
After sitting both parents down, the doctor delivered the bad news. “Your son is not gonna make it,” Nash recounted the doctor saying. He refused to pull his breathing tube, saying it was not an option, and his son died a few later.
“For the people who had helped at the hospital, doctors, nurses, I thank you,” Nash said as he held back tears.
Nash said that both he and his wife were standing over their only child when he took his last heartbeat. “He looked so gorgeous,” an emotional Nash said.
He also said that Ric Flair sent him a message after news came out and he called him asking if he could talk. Flair, who also lost his son, was helpful and gave him some good advice.
“That’s what make this shit work, not some therapist,” Nash said.
Black Adam, the new superhero movie from DC featuring Dwayne Johnson in the leading role, opened with an estimated $67 million from 4,402 theaters across the United States according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.
In addition, the movie did around $73 million in its opening weekend internationally, bringing $140 million in total worldwide.
Black Adam becomes Johnson’s biggest-ever opening weekend in Hollywood and the numbers fall within the projections from industry insiders.
The movie, 15 years in the making, currently has a 90% audience score. It cost nearly $200 million to produce.
This week’s episode of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV drew 96,000 viewers, 2,000 viewers up from last week’s broadcast. The show drew 0.02 in the 18-49 demo, down 0.01 from last week and did not chart in the top 150 cable chart. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
YouTube megastar Mr. Beast challenged Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to a rock, paper, scissors match with $100,000 on the line for charity during a red carpet event.
Mr. Beast told The Rock that if he beat him, he’ll donate $100,000 to a charity of his choosing and Johnson promptly accepted the challenge.
The first two were a draw but then in the third try, Mr. Beast beat The Rock when he chose paper and Rock chose, well, rock.
Before the third round, Johnson told Beast that if he loses, he’ll donate $100,000 to a charity of his opponent’s choosing as well.
When it was all said and done, Johnson chose Make-A-Wish Foundation as the charity, with the two putting $200,000 for good cause.
Mr. Beast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, runs the fifth-most-subscribed YouTube channel and is known for donating millions of dollars through his channel.
There seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel for Dominik Dijakovic as the man currently known as T-Bar is heading back to NXT under his previous name.
A vignette which aired during NXT Halloween Havoc showed the Retribution T-Bar mask burning, probably signifying the end of that gimmick which really went nowhere on the main roster.
In the post-show conference call with reporters, Shawn Michaels said that his NXT head writer Johnny Russo came up with the idea of having Dijakovic back.
Michaels also said that they try not to insult everyone’s intelligence by not acknowledging their past.
“One of the things we certainly try to do is not insult the fans and not pretend like somebody wasn’t who they were a short time ago, just connect the dots and get you thinking and teasing it and making you feel like what’s going to happen and then, down the road, we surprise you. And you think it’s cool and it works,” HBK said.
The 35-year-old Dijakovic worked in NXT between 2017 and 2020 before he was called up to the main roster to be part of the Retribution faction which was a dud.
“If you kill him, he will win. Become vengeance. Become wrath,” Dijakovic wrote after the vignette aired.
Here are the results from last night’s Halloween Havoc which took place from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Wes Lee defeated Carmelo Hayes, Oro Mensah, Von Wagner, and Nathan Frazer in a ladder match to become the NXT North American champion; Apollo Crews defeated Grayson Waller in a casket match; Roxanne Perez defeated Cora Jade in a weapons wild match; Julius Creed defeated Damon Kemp in an ambulance match; Mandy Rose defeated Alba Fyre to retain the NXT Women’s title; Bron Breakker defeated Ilja Dragunov and JD McDonagh in a triple threat match to retain the NXT title.
Next week’s Smackdown is moving to FS1 due to the Major League Baseball’s World Series game 1 and with a major hit to the viewership coming as it happens every year, WWE is trying to load up the broadcast to soften that blow.
The Undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns will be making an appearance on the show while Smackdown Women’s champion Ronda Rousey, now a fully-fledged heel, will issue an open challenge as well.
There will also be a six-man tag match featuring Legado Del Fantasma vs Hit Row and a mystery partner along with Ridge Holland and Butch vs Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn.
There’s a new addition to the AEW women’s roster and her name is Willow Nightingale.
While the 28-year-old has appeared multiple times on AEW television, she was never under a deal but that changed yesterday during the live Rampage when Tony Schiavone surprised her in the ring following her match against Leila Grey and told her she got the contract and is now All Elite.
AEW President Tony Khan followed that with the usual tweet, writing, “Congratulations @willowwrestles! Welcome to the team! Willow Nightingale is ALL ELITE!”
The New York native has been making appearances for AEW since mid-2021.
WWE stocks closed at a high of $78.76 last night, the highest it’s been since April 2019.
With that closing, the market cap of WWE is listed at $5.69 billion and shows no effect from the Vince McMahon departure or any major fallout from the way he left. In fact, stocks have fared better since McMahon left where it was hovering in the mid $60s.
Year-to-date, WWE stocks are up 55% and thanks to its guaranteed revenue, it held better than other companies during a terrible time on Wall Street.
WWE’s highest closing was $96.16 on April 23, 2019.
Thunder Rosa used her time on Busted Open Radio yesterday to address her critics who have been saying that she’s faking an injury and doesn’t deserve to be the champion.
Last week, Toni Storm said that she wants Rosa back to get rid of this “interim nonsense” as Storm is not happy to be labeled the interim AEW Women’s champion while she does the work every week and Rosa is out.
Rosa told Storm that she’s doing the hard work every week just the same to get back to the ring and silence everyone. She said she’s targeting January for a return but they still haven’t given her a time line.
“If you’re in the back and you are in distress about me being the champion or me being called the champion, I don’t call the shots,” a frustrated Rosa said. “I have a boss and there’s a booker in our office that makes the decisions. So if you’re distraught about what is being booked, maybe you should talk to the booker and keep my name out of your mouth.”
The champ mentioned how some of her friends still question her if she’s really faking it and Rosa blamed “one or two people” in AEW who started to spread false information.
“I don’t feel like no other wrestler has gone through this…like not at all. Somebody gets hurt, it’s like ‘Oh, they are hurt.’ But when it was me, it was like immediate,” Rosa added.
Live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, WWE presents NXT Halloween Havoc on Peacock and WWE Network. The full card is as follows:
Bron Breakker vs Ilja Dragunov vs JD McDonagh in a triple threat match for the NXT title; Mandy Rose vs Alba Fyre for the NXT Women’s title; Carmelo Hayes vs Oro Mensah vs Wes Lee vs Von Wagner vs Nathan Frazer in a ladder match for the vacant NXT North American title; Roxanne Perez vs Cora Jade in a weapons wild match; Julius Creed vs Damon Kemp in an ambulance match with the stipulation that if Julius loses, Brutus Creed will have to leave NXT; and Apollo Crews vs Grayson Waller in a Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal match.
Shotzi and Super Diva Quincy Elliott will be hosting tonight’s spooky festivities.
The NXT Halloween Havoc Kickoff show will start at 7PM EST and it will be hosted by McKenzie Mitchell and Sam Roberts, with Dave LaGreca from Busted Open Radio joining as part of the broadcast panel.
The Crown Jewel card just got a little bit bigger with two additional matches announced last night on Smackdown.
Karrion Kross and Drew McIntyre will continue their feud with a rematch from Extreme Rules and this time, the two will be locked inside a steel cage. Kross won round one back in Philly.
Also, the two biggest men on the main roster right now, Omos and Braun Strowman, will be going against each other in Riyadh in the second match announced last night.
Crown Jewel takes place on November 5 and more matches are expected to be added. As of now, the broadcast has no participation of women but after the strides WWE made over the past year or so in the country, it’s likely that a couple of women matches will be added to the show as well.
