And in a trios match for the AEW World trios title, The Bang Bang Gang are 1/3 favorites to retain their gold with The Death Triangle trailing at 2/1.

Logan Paul pitched drone shot used last night exactly a year ago

Logan Paul revealed that he pitched the idea of the drone shot which captured his frog splash yesterday a year ago.

Paul published three text messages he sent to an unknown individual he addressed as “boss” saying that there’s a “crazy cool opportunity to hire an FPV drone flyer” to capture a high-flying jump of him through a table or any crazy stunt.

“Just another cool way to capture a frog splash that has never been done before,” Paul wrote in the text message. “Creatively pushing media boundaries.”

At King and Queen of the Ring last night, a drone circled Paul as he was on the top rope, spitting his water like Triple H and then hitting the frog splash on the announce table with Cody Rhodes as his landing pad.

Double or Nothing 2024 preview and predictions part two

Part One if you missed it.

Kazuchika Okada, Jack Perry & the Young Bucks (The Elite)

vs

Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin & FTR (Team AEW)

(Anarchy in the Arena)

Star quality: 7

This should’ve been pushed as Perry’s first match since August.  But wasn’t.  He and Okada have become background players.  Despite all four heels being entertaining in their roles.  Okada’s a fantastic arrogant prick and Perry’s cut strong promos.

The faces feel more thrown together than a paper plane race.  None has done anything of note between big shows.

Match quality: 8

If these are your bag they’re generally entertaining.  Feels more like a match for a stip than a stip for a match.  Nothing like the 2020 edition.

In a post-show promo after his return, Darby Allin noted he’s still limping.  That was ten days ago.  Feels kinda negligent.  His coming out with a flamethrower Wednesday so as not to do anything physical isn’t a great sign.

Though adding Darby does at least give ‘Team AEW’ an actual day-one dude.  And one who has talked passionately about his love for the company.

Danielson too is banged up.  On which more below.

Build: 2 Past It

The build to Okada/Omega was the best thing AEW did all month.  Unfortunately Kenny’s not wrestling here.  Let’s take it from the top:

Jack Perry was reinstated via hug, so there are presumably a number of people with AEW contracts who don’t even realize it.  Bryan Danielson talked about protecting the company without really saying what from.

Christopher Daniels’ firing was immediately overshadowed by Jack Perry pouring a drink on Schiavone.  Then never followed-up.

Then the Elite put a bounty on the babyfaces.  On Collision.  Without a promo or any fanfare.  And who did they send to collect?  The Murderhawk Monster Feat. the Finger Clickers MJF beat by himself.

Then they called Jeff Jarrett.  Which does make sense.  After all, if you want to destroy something, who else would you ask?  All capped by ‘Team AEW’ being unable to beat these bottom-rung heels cleanly.

The story isn’t tight.  It’s not well thought out.  Bits don’t make sense.  Like why Tony Khan can from suburban Florida do all manner of things except fix the intro or punish the guys hijacking his show.  Or why a team initially comprised of zero ‘originals’ is called ‘Team AEW’ while facing three of them.

It’s an invasion without invaders.

Overall Score: 17

Who benefits most from winning?  Jack Perry.  Allowing the heels to get their comeuppance later.

With not long till Blood and Guts amid a Forbidden Door that needs greasing, this is the quickest, easiest route to that match.  All you need is one more guy on either side.  And the Bucks have had themselves an issue with the world champion.  As did Adam Page.  Who was only suspended from the Elite.  So could play a role here.

While Bryan Danielson is nursing a genuine neck injury for which he will eventually need surgery.  Which could play into the finish as he disappears for a bit.  Though it seems he wants to ride it out until October.

WINNER: The Elite

Jon Moxley vs Konosuke Takeshita (IWGP Title Eliminator)

Star quality: 7

A week ago, Jon Moxley said Takeshita’s been a ‘hell of a blue chipper for quite some time.’

In American Football a blue chipper is a young prospect.  You’re not supposed to be one for ‘some time.’  While in business or poker, blue chip means exceedingly valuable.  Yet in wrestling, one of the most damaging things you can do to an ‘asset’ is teach fans they’re not worth investing in.

Which is exactly what AEW have done with Takeshita.  Beats Omega.  Disappears.  Feuds with Kenny and Jericho.  Disappears.  Wrestles Darby and Sting.  Disappears.  Wrestles Ospreay.  Disappears.  Comes on stage to challenge Moxley.  Disappears.

Before Wednesday, he’d had two Dynamite matches since January 10th.  It’s no wonder the guy recently called his AEW stint ‘the most mentally exhausting period in all 12 years of my wrestling career.’

All that said, the Japanese is less of a drag than Strong, Trent or Jarrett et al.  Since he doesn’t get dropped off for matches in a minivan or make his friends mow his lawn on one leg.

And he’s so damn good.

Match quality: 9

Could be an awful lot of fun.  It’s hard to recall Takeshita tussling with someone like the IWGP champ.  Most of his big outings have come across from wrestlers rather than brawlers.  The closest thing his exchanges with Ishii during last year’s Forbidden Door.  Which were a highlight of that match.

Build: 1 Polar

There are limits to the wonders of social media (ear muffs Tony!).  Like announcing a match there.  It makes it seem less than, not worth the tv time.  And the booking here felt last minute, despite it being teased within days of Dynasty.

Part of the issue being the IWGP champ had NJPW challengers to take care of first.

Not that this did anything to prevent Takeshita winning matches on tv.  Or Callis cutting promos on his behalf.  Neither of which AEW bothered with.

Both Moxley’s promo last Saturday and the preview package Wednesday felt hollow, because there’s not a lot to work with.  Mox cheapshotted him with a mic Wednesday before they started Collision with Takeshita presumably breaking Moxley’s arm.  Then never mentioned it again.

Overall Score: 17

Despite the politics, Takeshita as NJPW champ actually makes a lot of sense.  AEW don’t use him; New Japan certainly could.  Six months as IWGP champ could be a win/win.  But it seems more likely this Moxley run is to pass the baton to one of NJPW’s up and comers at Forbidden Door.

As of Wednesday, a Takeshita win guarantees a shot vs any IWGP champ.  He was also left laying, in stark contrast to how other weak challengers (Trent, Strong, Deeb) were portrayed.  And he’d now look really weak losing to a guy with a broken arm.

Of course, it’s possible this is all a punishment for griping to the Japanese press.  If he does win, it might be AEW’s last shot at properly getting behind him.  If he disappears again, fans might finally give up.

WINNER: Konosuke Takeshita

Malakai Black vs Adam Copeland (TNT Title, Barbed Wire Cage Match)

Star quality: 6

The silence was notable during the angle where Black took Copeland’s wedding ring.  It’d had tv time, some hype, some backstory and fans just didn’t care.  The former Edge generally gets good reactions but feels like he’s blended in toward the top of the roster rather than stand out as a star.

Match quality: 7

The first question here is, why?  The second question is also, why?  Why did this feud need a barbed wire cage?  And why on a show built around an arena-wide anything-goes brawl would you add a barbed wire cage match?

Would you like some steak with your steak?

Malakai’s theme and entrance in front of a big crowd for the first time since about 2021 should be a spectacle.  And Black reminded us Wednesday what makes him stand out – wrestling a vivid UWFI style match.

Build: 5 Premature

They were close to having something here.

After misting him at Dynasty, Malakai tried to bring out Copeland’s dark side, believing they’re more alike than Copeland wants to admit.  Clear story, could do without the mist but not a bad start.

Copeland then had to beat Buddy and Brody to get to Malakai, probably the strongest pair anyone on this card has defeated on the way here.  Heel made good guy jump through hoops.  More solid stuff.

Black then took his wedding ring.  As noted, the crowd couldn’t have cared less.  Possibly because of the same ol’ spooky gobbledygook and the lights going out; possibly because it’s the sort of cheap tactic AEW too often go with.

There was also a bloodbath.

All capped last night via a horrible promo by MC Copeland Feat. Wordz No-1 Wud P0ssibly Uze.  Highlights include ‘You took the one item that kept me tethered to my comfortable world…’ ‘born out of the shadows that I cast…’ and ‘We don’t deal in dreams, our currency is nightmares.’

Perhaps these two really are alike.

Overall Score: 18

The smoke-suggesting-fire rumor is Mr. Black isn’t keen on losing matches.

Leading to my skepticism last time re: them even doing this.  But it does feel like either guy could win here.  And they’ve teased stakes surrounding the outcome – Copeland might align with the House; equally he might steal Buddy and Brody if he makes Malakai look weak.

RKO out of nowhere: Is Black done soon?  He’s coming up on three years in the company, hard as it is to believe.

WINNER: Adam Copeland

Mercedes Mone vs Willow Nightingale (TBS Title)

Star quality: 6

Who’d have thought it’d be Mone weighing Willow down?  Not this guy.  Who declared her one of the best all-rounders in wrestling.  Which of course includes her talking.

Nice take dipshit, as Gandhi used to say.

Were those WWE-speak promos her being a bad girl blurring the lines to keep us guessing?  Or a babyface oblivious to the fact CEOs are not a beloved societal group?  Either way, they quickly alienated the audience.

A chant-imploring entrance died in the Gaahden.  And she made not a jot of difference to ratings.  Though was very much setup to fail in being cast in the role of CM Punk.

And there’s been one big beneficiary of her landing in AEW: Willow Nightingale.  Someone fans have always liked, but the company have always resisted pushing.

And Ms. Nightingale’s taken advantage, going from strength to strength in her promos and reactions. Displaying notable character development: bashful and guilty about Mone’s injury to start but developing an edge en route to finally having enough of Mercedes’ crap.

Match quality: 8

Could be higher.  Could steal the show.  We’ll see what shape Mone’s ankle’s in.

Mone’s naturally arrogant.  But is a big bumper so tiny it looks like her body’s breaking every time she lands. Willow’s as naturally likeable as babyfaces get but is generally bigger than her opponents.  Making for interesting face/heel dynamics.

The energy should be good – whether there are a few more Mone-backing ‘casuals’ in the house or a hardcore audience rallying behind their homegrown girl (ticket sales suggest the latter).  Mercedes has a ton of presence: big entrance, big outfit, should add to the spectacle and make this feel a ‘thing.’

And AEW should make sure it is, whether it opens or is given a little breathing room by following a lesser match.  They’ve spent a ton on Mercedes, few in the promotion have the natural momentum of Nightingale, they might just get themselves a female star or two if they play this right.

Mone also needs to give herself something current to talk about.  Everything so far is what she’s done.  Not what she’s doing.

Build: 5

In a window into my overthinking, no idea how to rate this.

Polar? No, fans are into Willow defending her title.

Premature? After three months of waiting?

Peaking? Doesn’t feel like it could go much further.

Past it?  Possibly.  We’ve been waiting three months for Mercedes to wrestle; the ride hasn’t been smooth.

The answer might be that these terms need tweaking.  But of the options, it’s probably Peaked.  Because like a bad card with a good main event, it ended on a high (at least to Dynamite viewers).  With the best angle all month outside Omega’s beatdown.

How bad the rest of it was comes down to whether you believe the promotion continued to misjudge their own fans in thinking they could turn Willow.  Or whether Mercedes simply could not be talked out of believing ‘Say hello to your CEO’ a staunch babyface tactic.

The only change to her act was its portrayal by announcers – she’s stealing Willow’s spotlight – suggesting it wasn’t a turn planned all along.  The plus is she improved during last week’s aforementioned angle, much more comfortable as an apparent heel.

Overall Score: 19

Can Willow beat Mercedes when she’s – to quote the lady herself – ‘all healthy’?

Unless it’s added to a growing list of storylines AEW dropped, there’s the blacked-out attack on Mone to pay off.  Probably with Kris Statlander.  Either in a setup all along, we faked it way.  Or her having gone after Mercedes without Willow’s knowledge.

Leading to her helping her friend here, allowing Mone to continue claiming Nightingale can’t beat her straight up.  Or costing her, setting up a very effective ‘chase’ for Willow and giving her someone to get through before a rematch with Mercedes.

Intriguing.

Common sense says AEW didn’t pay Mone to come in and lose.

WINNER: Mercedes Mone

Swerve Strickland vs Christian Cage (AEW Title)

Star quality: 7

The world title is supposed to mean you’re the best.  Something fans generally buy into when the champ is presented half-decently.  But Swerve shares/will share champion status with the likes of Ospreay, Okada, Copeland, Moxley and Jericho.

Out of that group, who’s the biggest star?  Not Swerve.

Most recognizable?  Not Swerve.

Legit best wrestler?  Not Swerve.

Storyline best wrestler?  Not Swerve (AEW made that quite clear via Ospreay vs Danielson).

The promotion has done him no favors by draping half their roster in leather and gold, like a rich man’s S&M party.  So his opponent had to scream that this is THE champ.  The way Cody and Moxley did for the first ppvs of the tv era.  When AEW had their three biggest stars scrapping for the strap.

Yet outside of playing his part in Adam Copeland’s big show debut, the only time Christian Cage main evented was as a substitute.  When Hangman’s swimmers decided to have their coming out party.

And there too, he was a backdrop to the debuts of Cole and Danielson.

Strickland’s also spent most of the month occupying the middle of the card.  They have given him a countdown clock (frequently a countdown to his doom); what he needs is a clearer playing field with fewer belts.  And more top stars actually wanting what he has.

He wasn’t even the first champ to appear on the post-Dynasty Dynamite.  And the guy he beat can’t make the card here.

Match quality: 8

Cage’s act is starting to feel redundant – conducting business, shot at local sports team, shot at opponent’s child/father – but he does draw boos, and is trying to.  So the vet brings benefits not present to those facing Toni Storm or the BCC guys when they’re half-ass heel.

Those attending will be firmly behind the new champ.

And Cage knows how to have a ‘big,’ good match that’s relatively safe.  A plus when Strickland looks like he’s going to break an ankle on every apron Stomp.

The drags here are possible interference.  And the very obvious outcome.

Build: 6 Peaked

AEW don’t do details.  So there a quibbles here.

Like Swerve’s minions turning on him without establishing the relationship.  Or failing to tease whose side Nana was on for a couple weeks.  So that in both cases the payoff could be richer.

We can quibble over whether Cage is the right opponent.  Over Swerve’s placement on Dynamite.  Over him being beaten down for weeks in a row.

But it was solid heels outnumber babyface stuff.  In a feud with a very clear good and bad guy.  All of which paid off with Swerve finally outsmarting his foe and whooping his ass.  I’ve been whining for months that Strickland’s not a true babyface.  That’s not the case anymore.

Also established by his standing up to the dreaded heel authority figures. AEW deserve credit for actually having concurrent, overlapping storylines for once.  Swerve and the Bucks is clearly going somewhere.  Probably somewhere surrounded by steel bars.

As with Willow and Mercedes, they saved the best angle for last and paid off what they’d laid the groundwork for.

Overall Score: 21

Perhaps these are rare in other companies too, but how frequently do AEW’s world title matches feel like either guy might win?  In a thirteen-month reign, MJF had two (Cole and Joe), Hangman one (Punk) and Omega arguably none.

A score Swerve ties here.

WINNER: Swerve Strickland

_________________________________________________________________________

The below is pretty negative, so if you just want to enjoy the show, totally understand.  Hope you do and have a great weekend.

Overall Thoughts

The Dynamite after Dynasty started with a Best Friends angle.  And largely ignored the new world champion.  Setting the tone for a card here filled with hotter acts dragged down by their opponents.

Though every Dynamite since Dynasty has been entertaining enough, they’ve also been jammed to the gills with angles:

  • the owner taken out
  • the Elite take over
  • an ex-champion and founder hospitalized
  • the head of talent relations fired
  • a day-one wrestler retired
  • a whodunnit attack with the lights off
  • teased lesbianism
  • a blood bath
  • a wrestler coughing up blood
  • talk of seizures
  • stolen wedding rings
  • stolen banners
  • flamethrowers
  • a ‘Pillmanized’ arm
  • And the world champion having a framed photo of his child smashed over his head till he literally squirted blood

When so many extravagant things happen, it’s hard for any of them to have impact.  As evidenced by there often being so much to get through they neglect the main event or feature, such as Kenny Omega returning or who he’s corralled to form a team to take on the Elite.

In a company where details just don’t matter.

Of those injury angles (and including Danielson at Dynasty), the wounded party was largely just fine the next time we saw them with little concern in between.  Making it hard for fans to care or heels to generate heat.

In a show-opening angle last night, Jon Moxley presumably had his arm broken.  It wasn’t mentioned again.

Chuck Taylor hasn’t been mentioned since.  No promos asking how his former friend could do this.  Or imploring Cassidy to take vengeance.  Or even an update on his condition.

Ditto the fired Christopher Daniels.  Nor would most fans have known his real-life job title or relationship with the Bucks.  Show not tell is a staple of storytelling for a reason.  But even tell is better than nothing.

Why was Jack Perry reinstated via hug?  Why did Will Hobbs get an IWGP title shot but Takeshita has to win an eliminator?

Few if any contenders seem justified.  Making them feel cold.  A big part of why most title matches feel unimportant.  Just ask the Celtics how people feel about challengers with easy paths.

This show is intended as a celebration of five years of AEW.  A few weeks back Bryan Danielson said Top Flight are what AEW is all about.  A sarcastic prick might ask ‘So why aren’t they on this show?  And does that mean AEW are all about guys who come and go without moving up the card?’

Even the Observer, more specifically Bryan Alvarez, has started talking about how after half a decade, so many talents are in exactly the same place.  And using the ‘good match’ thing with finger quotations.  Because outside of that, after five years, it’s harder than ever to know what AEW is about.  Especially after a show like Wednesday full of WWE-style angles.

Hate ending like this so we’ll Thanksgiving this thing and end with what I’m most thankful for here: namely Mox/Take, the six-man and Willow/Mercedes.  And Mariah May’s bod ;.

Thanks as always for reading.  Enjoy the show and rest of the weekend.

Triple H addresses King of the Ring controversy: “Referee’s decision is final”

In a video posted on social media after the King and Queen of the Ring yesterday, Triple H addressed the ending of the match between Gunther and Randy Orton.

Orton was pinned by Gunther but his shoulder was way up from the mat, with the referee not seeing it.

Triple H said that the referee’s decision is final and Gunther remains King of the Ring but hinted at a future match between the two.

“I certainly want to see that again. I think Randy Orton deserves to have another shot at that,” Triple H continued. “And I think, if I know anything about Gunther, he will want to have another shot at that to take the controversy out, to take the asterisk off of the page where it says King of the Ring for him. I think he will want to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is better than Randy Orton.”

Don’t expect the match to happen quickly though, as the WWE COO said that Orton is “pretty banged up” and it will be a “moment or two” before he can step back in the ring with the Ring General.

“But when he is, let’s go,” he said.

Collision TV report for 05/25/2024

Venue: MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, NV

*****

Wild Thing played, Schiavone yelled that it was AEW’s five-year anniversary, and the three people in the crowd screamed.  My god there’s nobody here.

The hometown boy came out through the fans as they showed clips of his debut all those years ago.  In front of a huge crowd.  Could not have been a bigger contrast.  Such a damaging look.

AEW’s haphazard booking laid bare as Don Callis came out, Schiavone noting they’d heard he was going to call Moxley out but that he hadn’t even had to do it since Mox had come out first.

Loud boos.  Callis said he’d cost Moxley the AEW title on his second night in the company.  The boos continued to drown him out.  Callis said Mox got his revenge, his ‘pound of flesh,’ replaying when Callis legit got busted open last year in an angle gone wrong.  And Callis then helped Mox beat Omega a year ago.

Mox is the first person Callis thinks of every morning when he looks in the mirror.  He and Mox aren’t like most people.  When he was in the ambulance that night, Mox came in, put his hand on his shoulder and said ‘you’re one of us now.’  He and Callis are a lot alike, they see everything but feel nothing.

Wrestling has given them a place to exist.  Crowd chanted ‘STFU.’  He had to help Mox beat Omega.  He didn’t have to help Takeshita beat Omega.  He didn’t want this match to happen.  The two of them have driven the business for three years on separate paths.  What if they aligned?

They should ‘use the segment,’ to announce Mox’s future with the Family.  Mox took the mic as Callis did an excellent job showing fear and reticence.  Mox had one question.  Callis said he’ll do anything.  Mox said if they’re gonna trust each other, he’s gonna need more of a commitment than that tiny scar.  Takeshita attacked from behind to light boos.

Laying Moxley out with a forearm then grabbing a chair.  Placing Mox’s left arm in the chair then leaping off the top onto it.  Moxley writhed, Danielson and Claudio came out, ‘too little, too late,’ noted Nigel, ‘that should be their tag team name.’

It’s so AEW to,

  • Not advertise this
  • Not hype it as Callis trying to recruit Mox
  • Have him do it on the very last show before the ppv with half the Dynamite audience
  • Do an injury angle on said show before said audience

Packed a bunch of stuff in, didn’t hype it, didn’t explain it, didn’t give it meaning.  It’s exactly why the arena is dark.

Schiavone hyped the main event, then paused.  ‘But,’ he said, as they showed Moxley writhing in agony, doctors checking on him.  So he’s going to continue by saying that first we need to make sure top star and former champion Moxley is okay, right?  Wrong.  We’re going back to Wednesday to show clips of Strong and the Kingdom – who Nigel called the ‘Undisputed Era’ at first – leaving Ospreay bloody.

(Btw, Mox was never mentioned again.)

*****

We’re going to just move on from a big angle without making it mean anything but please take this other angle we’re showing you seriously.

To Ospreay after Weds.  Still covered in blood.  He said he’s been on four days benders (drinking sessions), woke up, had a bowl of Cocoa Pops, flown to Japan and whooped the toughest guy in the company in front of his wife and kids.

They think this scares him?  ‘I live for this bruv!’ he screamed while pounding his head.  No one is better inside that ring.  And now Strong’s bonded him with that championship, his blood’s on it.  In the perfect city to do it, ‘bet it all, gamble your life on it son,’ because it’s his mission to take the title away.

Nobody’s better than him, he’s on another level.

Excellent promo.  Very creative.

Claudio Castagnoli, Disco Daniel Garcia & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs the Righteous and Lance Archer

Backstory: NONE

Matt Menard on comms.  Claudio and Garcia out, heels out next, the faces third is a ‘mystery partner.’  They teased it being 2:3. It’s Hulk Hogan right?

Nope, it’s Hiroshi f’ing Tanahashi.  In front of three people.  I’m generally a proponent of surprises.  Why on earth would you not advertise this given ticket sales?  Crowd chanted ‘holy shit.’  As Claudio and Dutch locked up.  Dutch hit a cheap shot, the big guys crashed via shoulder block, repeatedly until a Dutch body slam.

Claudio leapfrog, uppercut, big body slam, leaping stomp.  Garcia in.  Vincent too.  Garcia lit up Vincent, Vincent cut off the face thrust dancing in the corner, can’t blame him; Tanahashi in to cut off Archer, the faces hit synchronized swinging neckbreakers before dancing/air guitaring respectively.

The heels took advantage of the faces dancing to leave them laying before the break.  Interesting choice.

Ads.

Garcia cut off repeatedly, Archer knocking his partners off the apron, he finally got the tag to Tanahashi who did a great job playing to the crowd cause he’s a pro.  Leaping forearm rocked Archer but didn’t floor him.  A second did the job.  The announcers keep talking about Tanahashi ‘joining Team AEW’ and ‘New Japan standing behind AEW here,’ like the heels are invaders.

As Archer took out Tana via cross body.  Garcia blocked a choekslam over the ropes, grabbing a guillotine using the ropes, Archer left outside, Vincent lariated out by Claudio.  Swing on Dutch.  Crowd enjoyed that.  Archer cut it off and got decent heat.  Then cut off Tana up top with a climbing knee strike.  Ductha dn Vincent hit slcied bread to Tanahashi off each other’s chests.  That might be a low point in his career.

The other faces took out the other heels.  A ’Go Ace,’ chant started as he hit a slingblade to Vincent.  Then went back up top. Taking care to steady himself before a match-winning High Fly Flow.  Poor dude’s knees are ruined.

He then joined in Garcia’s dance.  Lame.  A waste of time.

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli, Disco Daniel Garcia & Hiroshi Tanahashi

Propaganda vid for the EVPs.  Showing them as ‘everyman’ bosses.  Then painting their opposition tomorrow as violent, despicable people who want to ruin everything they’ve built.  Then showing Danielson spitting into the camera before cutting to Schiavone after Perry had poured that drink on him.

That’s tremendous.

For the fans, the EVPs will never stop their pursuit to change the world.

Lucha Bros vs the Gunns (If the Bros win the trios titles are on the line)

Backstory: Gunns challenged the bros Weds

‘This is quite a moment in AEW history!’ yelled Schiavone as the Bros came out.  With their kids.  Who were dressed like their dads.  Very cute.  They replayed the angle Weds which saw them return.

This is the Bros first tag since WrestleDream per Schiavone.  As we got two belting themes back-to-back as the Gunns came out.  Jay White notably absent.  Nigel said a lot of weird stuff about the Gunns.

This almost started before the bell.  As they brushed over this being to decide whether the titles are on the line tomorrow.  Penta and Austin to start, Austin let himself be pie-faced and slumped over the ropes.  Cause he’s a heel.

He did ‘Gunns up!’ then took a cheap shot.  Bringing Rey and Colten in, everybody took out everybody, a guy in each corner, racing at e/o, superkicks from the Bros, Gunns sent out, crowd clapping, synchronized baseball dives missing as the Gunns tried to hide under the ring.

Then ducked ‘uno, dos, tres’ kicks.  Taking over by double-teaming Penta inside.  Colten floatover suplex for two.  Tag to Austin, double suplex.  For the same.

Ads.

Penta fighting off Colten’s shoulders, both down, Rey fought off Austin, back to the corner, tag nearly made, Penta fought off both Gunns, Fenix in off the top via springboard cross body to both Gunns.  Tejeiras to Austin, one from the top by Penta to Colten (little sloppy), Fenix splash off the top for a near fall.

God these dudes are fun.

Fear Factor setup, Rey was tripped off the top by Austin.  Who was tagged in, Penta body dropped, leaving Fenix 1:2, forearm to the back of the head, fameasser, Penta just making the save.  The Gunns sent Penta out, he came right back in to break up 3:10 to Yuma.

They sent Colten packing, hit Fear Factor to Austin, Fenix continuing on to take out Colten via tope as Penta got the pin.  Pac out to celebrate.  A little sloppy but fun and fast in places.  Crowd into the Bros, as ever.  Are you watching Tony?

Jay White came out to hold up the belts on the ramp.

Winner: Lucha Bros

Replay of the FTW triple threat qualifier or whatever Wednesday.

Jericho and Bill with Arkady.  Bill took over the interview.  He said Jericho’s always taught him that in your darkest hour you have to dig deep to pull out the light.  Jericho agreed, saying he likes Arkady’s name since it sounds like somewhere you play video games and laughed too much at his joke.

He know he’s going to have to work hard.  Because when you’re the Learning Tree you’re going to have to face all types of opponents.  Bryan Keith came in and promised it wasn’t the last Jericho’s seen of him.

Hopefully it really is.  No thanks.  What tomorrow’s triple threat really needed was even muddier waters.

Jericho waved and said ‘Thanks Bryan,’ as Keith left.  Of course he was being overly nice the whole time.

Kyle O’Reilly vs KM

Backstory: NONE

O’Reilly won via tap in like 30 seconds.  Not sure what the point was.

Winner: Kyle O’Reilly

Recap of Mercedes/Willow.  They continue to show Mone being carried out after taking Willow’s Dr Bomb.

Then showed them brawling on Rampage, Mercedes out after Willow’s match.  They brawled, were separated and Mone ended up with Willow’s title.

Willow had it back as she came out here with Statlander.  Who urged Willow toward the ring then headed backstage.  Nice reaction for Willow.  She said you can’t have Collision on TBS without the face of TBS.  Crowd chanted again.

She noted that on Rampage, somebody else put their hands on her title.  ‘Mercedes Mone.’  Willow has kept talking about respecting her, but now we’re way past respect.  ‘Tomorrow, Mercedes I am going to wreck you.  I am going to make you long for the days when you were out of harm’s way, sitting at home on the shelf.’

Then she calmed down and said nonchalantly ‘I know championships, they come and go…’ but fired up again and said she’ll be damned if tomorrow is when hers ends.  For years she’s been fighting for her dream.  She was nearly paralyzed when she broke her neck before she got here.  She’ll go through tough matches, long flights, whatever it takes to defend her title.

She’s just getting started.

Crowd chanted again.  More lightly.  A few ‘CEO’ chants were booed down.

She said Mercedes can’t beat her ‘at any percent’ because last year Willow won.  Tomorrow, she’s going to prove that she’s the better woman.  Big cheer.

Mostly strong, perhaps a little long.  She high-fived fans on her way back.  Interesting how hard she went on retaining as a babyface.  But does set the stage for a grand betrayal.

*****

Trent with Lexy.  He said he’s already said everything he has to say.  Then carried on talking.  Until Rocky Romero came in.  Rocky talked about their past with all the Best Friends and said whatever happens tomorrow he hopes they can all put it in the past.  Because they’re family.

Trent said that’s absolutely not happening and Rocky shouldn’t interrupt him.

Does seem kinda weird that they could get back together after Trent supposedly ended Chuck’s career mere weeks ago.

Brody King & Buddy Matthews vs Gates of Agony vs the Infantry vs the Acclaimed

Backstory: NONE

So no mention whatsoever of Buddy coughing up blood the other week.  Even Schiavone could go no further than calling this ‘very interesting.’  Caster said a lot of swears and has a moustache.  Few words in AEW are more tired than ‘Yo… listeeeen.’

Caster and Bravo got a lot of quick pins for two.  Caster tagged out.  To his partner.  Bravo’s dumb so tagged Buddy.  Bowens immediately tagged Kaun.  So guess he’s dumb too.  Kaun and Brody smashed together to a stalemate.  Buddy tagged Brody, crowd barking.  Kaun tagged Leona.

The big men knocked like four guys off the apron then got to it.  Crowd chanting ‘meat’ with each blow.  The other guys kept trying to interrupt and would be laid out before the big guys continued to duel.  Brody hit a big headbutt but staggered back himself as Leona remained unmoved.

Buddy bridged Leona out through the ropes, King hit a dive onto a bunch of the other guys and the crowd barked enthusiastically.  House of Black are heels.

Ads.

Back to Buddy and Caster, chinlock city, Max trying to fight up but cut off.  Buddy jawed with guys on the apron, took an Infantry superkick party, they hit one to Brody who didn’t budge till Caster joined the party.

Leona took out the babyfaces.  Then crushed Brody in the corner.  Matthews in via meteora but took a shotgun dropkick.  Everybody’s just in and out at will, crowd utterly silent.  Until the two big dudes were left again.  Brody couldn’t lift Leona who nailed a Samoan drop for two.

Bravo tagged in, the Infantry spent ages readying a very staged dual dive onto all the non-House guys.  They then tried to take down Brody.  Billy Gunn’s joined in the brawling outside.  As has Brian Cage.  Then they all just left.  The House hit a cannonball/dropkick combo in the corner (like they hit Copeland with sans Malakai) to win.

Total waste of time isn’t strong enough.  Tony Khan owes us ten minutes.

Winner: Brody King & Buddy Matthews

Copeland promo.  ‘You took the one item that kept me tethered to my comfortable world…’  Out.  Hard.  Anyone out there ever used the phrase ‘tethered to my comfortable world?’

Black was ‘born out of the shadows that I cast.’  Copeland knew they’d eventually meet.  The House ‘showed me where I need to navigate from.’

They showed him the version of him he needs to be.  A devil on one shoulder with no angel to be found.  ‘Fitting juxtaposition.’  Copeland then talked about the force he and Malakai could be.  ‘We don’t deal in dreams, our currency is nightmares.’

This is some top-grade bollocks.

They showed Buddy and Brody watching from the ramp as Copeland wondered whether they’d join him if he beat Black.  Copeland suggested they could be ‘the House of Blood.’

‘When you see evil in a man’s eyes, it’s already too late.’

*****

They showed Deeb stopping Toni Storm from stripping Wednesday.  ‘What a heel’ to quote Nigel.  To Toni in a weird position atop the medical beds backstage.  Storm has to ‘fight for my life against a woman who thought that twitching on the floor was a sign that she should keep wrestling.’

She said she’d make Deeb a victim if she wants to be.  She’ll make her seizures feel like a walk in the park.  Her obituary will note that she lost to the champ.

So yeah just don’t like either woman or want to see that in any way.  Have lots of people been complaining about Toni?  Because she talked about her words ‘being analyzed like a Zapruder Film.’

Mariah May vs Leyla Hirsch

Backstory: NONE

May avoided a corner charge, rolling through to land a slap, chop, a second, a flurry in the ropes.  Hirsch hit back, shoving May clear.  May shoved her breasts in Hirsch’s face, Hirsch sold this as May did a showgirl-style dance.  And Nigel said he wished he was wrestling again.

Hirsch belly to belly.  May hit back immediately via Samoan drop, shotgun off the ropes, pose, shook her breasts, Nigel yelled ‘put your dollars away!’

Ads.

Hirsch missed a moonsualt, May hit a pair of running forearms, big boot, belly to back, man she’s good.  Real snap to her moves and movements.  Shotgun off the top for two.  She set Leyla atop the buckle then hit a handspring headscissors.

Hip attack coming, Leyla avoided it into a rollup.  And was booed.  German suplex for two.  May hit a headbutt and an absolutely vicious knee strike to win.  Jeeesus that looked good.

As with those who face Storm, Hirsch was in a tough spot here, May a total babyface.  Including hugging some folks in the front row afterward.

Winner: Mariah May

Serena with Lexy.  Storm called tomorrow ‘Deeb or Nothing.’  She said Storm’s been having fun and games but it wasn’t a few weeks ago when Storm threw in the towel to stop her ‘little stooge having her leg snapped off.’

Deeb called her ‘Time’s Up Toni Storm, I’ll see you tomorrow.’

Actually a really good promo.  Shame the rest of the feud could only have been worse if you were trying to make it bad.

*****

Patriarchy promo shot from the Buddy Wayne Academy.  Cage said Swerve not only took out his ‘son,’ he did it on holy ground.  As part of a wider Swerve/Cage package.  Which was very good.

*****

They showed the Bucks pushing their new Reeboks at a mall.  Complete with smiling and posing with fans.  Know kayfabe’s dead but could you not rub it in our faces during the show?

Danielson & FTR vs Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh

Backstory: implausibly, the heels here got the better of top act Danielson Wednesday

There’s just absolutely no way I’d be watching this if I wasn’t recapping.  The announcers inferred Darby will be using the flamethrower tomorrow.  Nigel said if he uses it on Danielson ‘it’s the only way he’ll ever have a smoking hot body.’  Bless you Nigel for providing light through this darkness.

Sonjay Dutt spoke to the camera, a man so ridiculously cartoonish he lowers everything he touches.  And this couldn’t get much lower.

Jeff Jarrett kept getting the better of Bryan Danielson.  Then strutted.  Then tagged out.  Lethal in, Danielson hit a knee to the gut and spine kick.  Dax in, chops in the corner, uppercuts too.  Cash in via springboard shoulder block.

Shots in the corner, diving off onto Jarrett who tried to interfere, inverted atomic drop to Lethal.  Until Singh snatched him in a goozle and dragged him outside.  And that fucking clown Sonjay Dutt continued to make excruciatingly bad things worse.  As Schiavone called Jay Lethal one of the greatest wrestlers ever.

Ads.

Dax small package on Lethal for two.  Until another Singh shot from the apron.  This dude is being paid to be big.  And absolutely nothing more.  He tagged in then hit the same low chokeslams he’s been using for years.  Because he still can’t do anything else.

He fought off FTR by himself as the other heels setup chairs to watch.  Until Jarrett tagged in and Danielson was actually allowed to look strong for a bit.  Lots of rights topped by more in the corner.  Running lariat after ducking under.  Leg lariats in the corner, looking for the LeBell, Lethal broke it immediately.

This crowd is almost silent and it seems like people have actually left.  Cannot blame ‘em.

Singh missed a charge, colliding with the much more talented ringpost.  And was left in the ring vs all three faces.  They all hit yes kicks for ages but he would not go down.  FTR hit an EVP Trigger, Danielson a busaiku, Singh still not down.

Everyone took out everyone, Danielson blocked the stroke but was sent to the buckle.  Even here the faces couldn’t win cleanly: shenanigans involving a guitar shot while Karen Jarrett took the ref.  FTR pinned Lethal after a Shatter Machine.

Cash took a mic.  He said the moment they joined AEW it became their home.  He will fight, breathe and die for this company.  ‘Wrestling fans are better off because of AEW.’

Tough show to make that claim.

Wrestlers are better off because of AEW etc. etc.  The stuff Tony Khan surely likes to hear so he can ignore constructive criticism.  Cash said they’re the only four who’ll walk out tomorrow.  Dax cut another rah rah speech.  They’re fighting for everyone who wants entertainment to forget their problems for a bit.

Whether for one hour, two hours, he gets to be our hero.  And tomorrow, at least one more time, he gets to be our hero.  Actually a really good promo.

Winner: Danielson & FTR

It was suggested throughout that this show represents AEW after five years.  It sure does; they’re in trouble.

Next Dynamite:

  • Casino Gauntlet, winner gets an AEW Title shot at Forbidden Door

Thumbs Up/Down

  • Ospreay promo
  • Mariah May looked good, be cool to see her in a match against another strong wrestler to see how good she really is
  • Deeb’s promo
  • Dax’s promo

 *****

  • It’s a fair bet that if you’d told the people of Vegas Mr Moxley was going to be there, you’d have at least been able to fill the seats in front of the camera
  • See above re: Tanahashi
  • Moxley presumably had his arm broken and was never mentioned again
  • Outside of Mox and Tanahashi, be pretty pissed if you bought a ticket for this, a rancid show

Appreciate you reading.  Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Train your brain: the best casino games for enhancing memory

Looking for a fun way to boost your brainpower? Casino games aren’t just about luck and excitement; some can actually help sharpen your memory. From the strategic placements of bets to remembering card patterns, these games engage your mind in a lively workout. Let’s dive into the top casino games that do enhance your cognitive skills.

7 Casino Games for Better Memory

1. Blackjack

Often seen as a game of simple luck, Blackjack actually offers a fantastic workout for your brain. While gambling at reputable sites like gametwist casino, players must keep track of the cards to estimate the odds of winning with future hands. This active engagement with the game helps enhance short-term memory and sharpens your decision-making skills.

2. Poker

Poker combines strategy with deep psychological play. Remembering past hands, understanding player habits, and predicting potential outcomes are all crucial for success. This constant recall and analysis keeps your memory sharp and improves your attention to detail and your ability to read social cues — skills that are invaluable both at and away from the poker table.

3. Baccarat

In Baccarat, players often try to notice patterns and streaks, whether in their own decisions or the dealer’s actions. Keeping track of these can influence your betting choices, enhance your ability to recognize sequences, and improve memory retention. This game teaches you to look for trends and use them to make strategic decisions, a skill applicable in many real-life situations.

4. Roulette

Roulette may seem like a game of chance, but players can benefit from remembering which numbers appear frequently. Analyzing past results to make more informed bets requires a good memory and keen observational skills. By engaging in this analysis, you practice pattern recognition and statistical reasoning and boost your cognitive processes.

5. Craps

Craps is known for its fast-paced nature and variety of bets. And it’s quite popular, too, and available on most gambling platforms like Slots Peak. Players must remember many possible outcomes and betting rules, which keeps the brain active and engaged. This demand for quick memory recall and understanding complex sequences can sharpen cognitive flexibility and memory.

6. Bridge

Though not a staple in all casinos, Bridge is a card game that involves significant strategic thought and memory recall. Players must remember the cards played, predict opponents’ hands, and strategize accordingly. This level of complex thought process enhances cognitive flexibility, improves long-term memory, and strengthens problem-solving skills.

7. Mahjong

Available in many online casino formats, Mahjong requires players to remember various tile symbols and their positions. Success in Mahjong comes from the ability to recall these details vividly and to anticipate future possibilities, thereby exercising and improving memory and strategic planning.

How to Maximize the Mind-Boosting Benefit from Online Casino Games?

To truly benefit your brain while playing these games, focus on the following:

1. Stay Engaged

It’s easy to zone out and play on autopilot, especially in games that don’t require much interaction. However, to truly benefit your brain, active participation is vital. It means paying close attention to each game’s dynamics, making conscious decisions, and continually adapting strategies.

2. Set Time Limits

Marathon gaming sessions can lead to fatigue, which diminishes your cognitive function and makes your play less effective. To keep your brain sharp, limit your sessions to durations that allow you to maintain high concentration levels. Short, focused sessions can boost memory and cognitive skills without causing burnout.

3. Play Regularly

Consistency is crucial in any training, and cognitive exercise is no exception. Regular gaming sessions help reinforce the neural pathways involved in strategic planning, problem-solving, and memory.

4. Balance with Other Cognitive Exercises

While casino games can improve cognitive skills, they should be part of a broader brain-training regimen. Engage in other activities that challenge your brain, such as puzzles, reading, or learning a new skill. This variety will help develop a broader range of cognitive abilities and prevent mental fatigue.

5. Reflect on Your Play

After each session, spend a few minutes reflecting on your decisions and the outcomes. This process helps consolidate memory and enhance learning. Think about what strategies worked, what didn’t, and how to improve. This habit sharpens your gaming skills and boosts your analytical thinking and memory retention.

Conclusion

Casino games are a valuable tool for enhancing your mental faculties. If you choose games requiring strategy, memory, and critical thinking, you’re stimulating your brain. Whether you’re counting cards in blackjack or tracking patterns in roulette, each session is an opportunity to sharpen your mind. Remember, the goal is to enjoy the game while subtly boosting your brain power.

WWE returning to Saudi Arabia on November 2 for Crown Jewel

Crown Jewel

WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia on Saturday, November 2 for the Crown Jewel premium live event which this time will take place in Riyadh.

WWE did not announce if Smackdown the night before will also be taking place in the city like this time around.

This will be the second of their two yearly shows on their calendar as part of a 10-year agreement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where WWE gets around $50 million per show.

Crown Jewel has been part of the WWE premium live event calendar since 2018.

King and Queen of the Ring 2024 results

Here are the results from the King and Queen of the Ring which took place live from the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeated Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles in the pre-show; Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch to become the new WWE Women’s World champion; Sami Zayn defeated Bronson Reed and Chad Gable in a triple threat match to retain the Intercontinental title; Nia Jax defeated Lyra Valkyria to become the Queen of the Ring; Gunther defeated Randy Orton to become the King of the Ring; Cody Rhodes defeated Logan Paul to retain the Undisputed WWE title.

Priest vs McIntyre for World Heavyweight title to headline Clash at the Castle: Scotland

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced that the main event of Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland will pit Damian Priest defending his World Heavyweight title against Drew McIntyre.

Triple H said that McIntyre is cleared by WWE doctors to resume his in-ring activities and Priest kept his word of granting McIntyre a match for the title.

This match will now come in McIntyre’s hometown in front of over 10,000 Scottish fans at the OVO Hydro and McIntyre will certainly hope to avoid a similar result of the previous Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales a few years ago.

Tickets for Clash at the Castle are still available on Ticketmaster, with the cheapest coming at a whopping £343.20. The most expensive ticket is £2,106.80 for ringside.

Gunther wins the King of the Ring 2024 tournament

The Ring General is now also King of the Ring! Gunther defeated The Viper in the final of the King of the Ring tournament after surviving an RKO.

The finish of the match came when Orton hit an RKO but because of his bad knee, he couldn’t properly secure the pin and Gunther kicked out. Gunther then reversed Orton’s pin position into a pinfall of his own and the referee counted the three even though Orton’s shoulder was way up and not on the mat.

Triple H came to the ring to present Gunther with his crown and in his post-match interview, Gunther said the Apex Predator became the prey and at SummerSlam, he will become the new World Heavyweight champion.

Gunther went through Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, and Jey Uso during the tournament before defeating Randy Orton.

Nia Jax wins the Queen of the Ring 2024 tournament

Nia Jax became the Queen of the Ring after she beat former NXT Women’s champion Lyra Valkyria in the tournament final.

The Irish star had a great showing but the irresistible force was a bit too much for her, with Jax picking up the victory with the Annihilator finisher.

After the match, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque came in the ring to present Jax with the crown. Jax got very emotional and with tears in her eyes, she embraced Triple H.

Kyla Braxton tried to interview her in the ring but Jax cut her off and she vowed to be the next WWE Women’s champion at SummerSlam.

Jax went through Naomi, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair in the tournament before taking on Valkyria in the final.

Liv Morgan becomes the new WWE Women’s World champion

The Liv Morgan revenge tour came to a climax at the King and Queen of the Ring in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia earlier today when she beat Becky Lynch to become the new WWE Women’s World champion.

The match had the interference of Dominik Mysterio, who earlier told Morgan that he flew to Saudi to make sure she doesn’t get the title. But something is brewing between the two, as after they got caught coming out from the same room on TV a few weeks ago and Liv having his bandana in her pocket on another week, Mysterio slid a chair for Becky to use but Morgan used it instead after Mysterio distracted the referee.

After her win, Mysterio acted annoyed as fireworks went off for Morgan’s victory.

Morgan was the one who ended Ripley’s championship reign in a backstage segment after a brawl between the two went awry and Ripley suffered a shoulder injury when Morgan threw her into the wall.

Lynch won a battle royal the next week to become the new champion.

5 non-obvious skills crucial for gambling success

Are you trying to step up your online gambling game? Luck isn’t always on your side? Success in online gambling involves much more than understanding the rules or following basic strategies. In this article, we explore five crucial, yet often overlooked, skills that can significantly enhance your gambling prowess and improve your outcomes.

5 Skills Crucial for gambling Success You Didn’t Know About

Adaptive Flexibility

Adaptability in gambling is crucial, especially in games like poker where the situation can change with every new card dealt. For instance, a poker player at NineCasino might begin the game with a strategy to play aggressively but might need to adopt a more conservative approach as the game progresses and the stack dynamics change. Similarly, in the business world, a project manager may need to shift strategies based on new client feedback or unforeseen challenges, ensuring that the project remains on track. This flexibility to adapt to new information and changing environments is essential for thriving in both personal and professional life.

Cognitive Reflection

Gambling challenges players to think beyond the obvious, which involves questioning first impulses and assessing the deeper implications of their actions. A gambler facing a seemingly strong poker hand must reflect on not just the hand’s strength but also the context—like the opponent’s behavior and the stakes involved. This reflective process is invaluable outside of gambling too. For example, a business leader might reconsider a lucrative but risky investment, weighing long-term impacts over short-term gains. Similarly, in personal life, deciding whether to buy a home involves more than just liking the property—it requires a thorough assessment of financial readiness and market conditions.

Emotional Equilibrium

The ability to maintain emotional stability is tested extensively in gambling. A player who rides the emotional highs of big Nettikasinot360 wins and the lows of losses without losing composure can make rational decisions consistently. This emotional control is just as crucial outside the casino. In professional settings, it helps individuals handle criticisms and setbacks without losing focus on their goals, while in personal relationships, it aids in managing conflicts and emotional discussions without overreacting, thus maintaining harmony and understanding.

Interpersonal Intuition

Successful gamblers often excel in reading the room. This means interpreting subtle cues like a slight twitch of an eyebrow or a hurried bet, which could indicate a player’s nervousness or bluff in poker. Outside of gambling, this intuition can be a powerful tool. In professional contexts, a manager might sense dissatisfaction within a team before it becomes apparent, allowing for proactive engagement. In personal scenarios, understanding subtle emotional cues can strengthen relationships by addressing concerns before they escalate.

Resource Allocation

Effective gambling isn’t just about how much you bet, but also managing your overall bankroll to endure through ups and downs. This requires foresight, discipline, and an understanding of when to invest heavily and when to hold back. These skills directly translate to effective financial planning in personal life, such as managing household budgets or saving for future goals. In a business context, resource allocation skills help in optimizing budgets and resources across projects to maximize returns while minimizing risks, ensuring sustainable growth and stability.

Practical Advice for Developing Non-Obvious Gambling Skills

  • Practice Mindful Gambling

Before each session, set clear goals and limits. Decide not just how much money you are willing to risk, but also what you want to achieve in terms of skill development. Reflect after each session. What did you learn? Which skills were tested? How did you handle pressure, losses, or wins?

  • Engage in Continuous Learning

Regularly read books, articles, and research on strategies, psychological aspects, and financial management related to gambling. Watch tutorials and gameplay videos of skilled gamblers to see how they apply non-obvious skills in real scenarios.

  • Simulate Real Gambling Scenarios

Use online simulations and free games to practice your skills without financial risk. Try to implement different strategies in these simulations to see which works best under various conditions.

  • Seek Professional Feedback

Consider joining a gambling forum or community online. Experienced members can provide insights and feedback on your strategies and decision-making processes. If possible, find an experienced player who can guide you through the complexities of gambling and help you develop these non-obvious skills.

  • Maintain a Balanced Lifestyle

Ensure that gambling does not consume your life. Engage in other activities that promote mental and emotional health. Exercise regularly, eat well, and ensure sufficient sleep to keep your mind sharp and capable of making the best decisions.

***

Now, you’ve learned non-obvious skills that are pivotal for success both at and away from the casino. These skills are not just about playing a game; they’re about navigating the complexities of life. By mastering these, you can transform your approach from mere betting to strategic, informed decision-making. Good luck with your gambling adventures!

King and Queen of the Ring 2024 Pick’em report

Hello everybody! @TheMagnumDA here with this month’s Pick’em report. Tonight, WWE is in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to declare a new King and Queen of The Ring. Colin’s been on the run of a lifetime, including a title defense last month that was won in less than 30 minutes! Just when you think the challenger is down…I am back for one last claim to the throne.

The WOPC Championship is on the line! ON WITH THE PICKS!

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship (Kickoff Match)
Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c) vs. Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell

Magnum: This is a good way for Belair and Jade to get their heat back after losing to Nia Jax by questionable circumstances in the Queen of the Ring tournament. It’s wild to think that Candice and Indi are getting their second title match in a span of three months, but here we are. Indi seems to be embracing the heel turn, which strikes me as odd because she and Candice seemed to be on the outs, at one point, If DIY turn as well, could we see The Way return? Time will tell. For tonight? Give me Belair and Cargill to retain.

Colin: Interesting how they put Bianca and Jade in the tournament and now they end up on the preview show. I was surprised Bianca lost clean to Nia Jax to be honest, did not expect that for sure, but if there’s a match where I could put my life savings on the line, it would be this one. Bianca and Jade win and not even entertaining other ideas.

Queen of the Ring Final
Lyra Valkyria vs. Nia Jax

Magnum: If Lyra were to win, she’d likely face Becky Lynch at Summerslam. Those two tore it up last summer on NXT. Having said that, all signs seem to point to Nia Jax getting this victory. Bayley is already gearing up for a title match against Piper Niven – look for her to continue to face opponents bigger and stronger than her as we get to Summerslam. I want Lyra to win, but I’m certain this belongs to Jax.

Colin: Surprising final, although with Valkyria, you would have expected a heel opponent. Jax gets a lot of flack but I think she has been booked perfectly in this second stint. Lyra’s time will come, but this is Jax’s time. Queen Nia sounds really cool too.

King of the Ring Final
Gunther vs. Randy Orton

Magnum: I talked to Brother Bull the other day, and he was convinced that Orton is taking the crown tonight. It makes sense to me, plus Orton vs. Rhodes is a built-in ready-made feud. As I started to think about it, though…Orton is still deeply entrenched in a feud with The Bloodline. In the house show circuit, it only makes sense to keep Cody and Randy aligned…at least, for now. Gunther lost that IC title for a reason – to move on to bigger and better things. The crown is his – all hail King Gunther!!

Colin: An Orton vs Rhodes SummerSlam match would cook but there’s only one problem for me: both are big time babyfaces. That’s why I am picking Gunther and following his run as an Intercontinental champion, going for the World Heavyweight title would be the next step.

Intercontinental Championship – Triple Threat
Sami Zayn (c) vs. Chad Gable vs. Bronson Reed

Magnum: I’ve been loving this Gable heel turn. I also like the dynamic created here – Alpha Academy could have said, “Screw this guy”, but they’re sticking around and taking the abuse. That’s going to lead to one hell of a face turn for Otis, Maxine, and Tozawa. Eventually, Gable is going to have to win some gold to justify his teachings and preachings. I think it’ll be soon, but not tonight. Sami retains.

Colin: I don’t see Sami dropping the title until maybe SummerSlam. Not a big fan of Reed myself, I can’t see what other people see in him, but that’s just me. Gable, on the other hand, is great as a heel and would make a great champion while being a total dick to the rest of his team. But for now, I’m picking Zayn.

WWE Women’s World Championship
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Liv Morgan

Magnum: Without question, the most challenging pick of the night…and the one that will likely decide this pick’em. I asked myself what would have happened if this was Rhea against Liv, and I thought it’d be the first chapter of their feud…so Rhea would retain. I do think Liv will eventually become champion, but she’s going to need a little help to do it. Maybe Dominik Mysterio is available? As for tonight, though…I see The Man holding on to the strap. Becky Lynch retains.

Colin: Hm, this one is a toss up. Not sure if Becky Lynch signed a new deal yet and I don’t believe she was ever in the plans to run with this title if it wasn’t for Ripley’s injury. Becky doesn’t need the title for sure and a Liv vs Rhea feud would make more sense now. I think we’re going to see a new champion in Liv Morgan.

Undisputed WWE Championship
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Logan Paul

Magnum: I think we’re going to see a memorable and crazy brawl. Logan Paul is building this match as a “clean” match, free of the brass knuckles. I am quite sure the social media star has a few of those sitting around. I’m also sure that his entourage will likely make an appearance. On top of all that, I feel like the Prime Hydration Station will be used as a prop, and there will also be an incredible highspot. All the bells and whistles will be used here, but look for Cody to retain in a wild one.

Colin: I’m expecting this to be the match of the night. Can’t believe I’m saying that with Logan Paul in it. But he’s that good. Remember his match in Saudi against Roman? The dude definitely stepped up. But yeah, can’t see any different outcome than Cody winning this one.

Alright folks, that’s going to do it for the KOTR/QOTR Pick’em report! Colin and I will be back next month with the CLASH AT THE CASTLE!! See you then! @TheMagnumDA signing off.

Spinning the wheel towards online fortune

The spinning red and black wheel holds a certain mystique in the world of Stake casino games. Roulette offers thrill-seekers and strategic gamblers alike a chance to test their luck and skill. As roulette expands into the online world, more players than ever are taking a spin.

Roulette has captured imaginations for over two centuries with its simple yet suspenseful format. Now in the internet age, playing roulette online brings new ease and excitement. This guide will explore the various ways to spin your way toward online roulette riches.

We’ll cover the exhilarating feeling of watching the ball bounce across the wheel, the ingenious betting systems cunning gamblers have devised, and the convenient features of online roulette. Whether you’re a beginner placing your first chips or a seasoned pro perfecting your strategy, roulette online provides dynamic new dimensions. Ready to give Lady Luck a spin?

Thrill of the Spin

The spinning roulette wheel represents a microcosm of chance itself. As the ball whirls around the wheel in one direction, your emotions whirl in the other as you watch with bated breath. The “no more bets” call from the croupier delivers an irresistible hit of adrenaline. Where will the ball land next? Red or black? Odd or even? Is your number or not? Roulette condenses life’s uncertainty into a single climactic moment.

Online roulette captures these same tense and tantalizing emotions. Seeing the pixelated ball bounce across your screen inspires the same thrill. The convenience of playing from home adds extra allure—no need to battle crowds at a land-based casino when you can access roulette day or night.

Roulette Betting Systems and Strategies

While roulette ultimately comes down to chance, clever gamblers have developed systems to try to beat the house. Strategies like the Martingale system have players adjust their bets based on previous outcomes. The Fibonacci system uses the famous number sequence to calculate wager amounts. D’Alembert has users change bets according to a preset pattern.

System Description
Martingale Double bet after a loss
Fibonacci Use Fibonacci sequence to determine bet size
D’Alembert Increase or decrease bets in a set pattern

Do any of these legendary roulette systems really work? The jury remains out. Regardless of their actual mathematical efficacy, these wagering methods imbue the game with additional skill and engagement. Testing a new system online offers excitement through experimentation.

Of course, online roulette offers plenty of traditional betting options as well. Whether choosing between inside or outside bets, odd or even numbers, red or black—you get the same wide range of ways to ride the wheel’s unpredictable outcome.

Convenience and Accessibility

For many players, migrating to online roulette brings major advantages. No longer limited by geography and local gambling laws, anyone can access leading roulette sites from around the world. This opens up options for diverse variants like European, American, and Multi-Wheel roulette.

Plus, online roulette allows playing free demo versions. This helps beginners learn the flow of the game and betting options without any financial risk. Veterans can also test new strategies and theories.

Once ready to transition to Nettikasinot360 games, internet roulette offers convenience unmatched at live casinos. Deposits and cashouts are just click away, accessible instantly from your phone or laptop. You can even multitask, playing roulette casually in the background of daily life.

Conclusion

Like a microcosm of fortune itself, roulette continues spinning onwards into the internet age. The classic wheel now reaches more players than ever before. Online roulette brings with it a new world of possibilities—endless access, innovative variants, and advanced betting systems. Yet, some things remain eternal: the hold-your-breath excitement as the ball drops, chance suspended for a split second between red and black. This timeless thrill now spins just a click away.

Mercedes Mone says she will show the world she’s the greatest women’s wrestler ever

Ahead of tomorrow’s Double or Nothing and her AEW in-ring debut, Mercedes Mone has been doing the media rounds to promote her match and the pay-per-view.

Speaking to The Ringer podcast, Mone said that she’s really excited to be finally wrestling after making her TV debut in March and that excitement overtakes the pressure she knows she’s under.

Mone did admit though that she is nervous even though she has been wrestling for the past 14 years of her life but this is the first match she’s participating in since May 2023. Mone said that knowing it’s against Willow Nightingale, she knows everything will be fine and the two will steal the show.

The former IWGP Women’s champion is also ready to show everyone why she’s the greatest women’s wrestler of all time and while fans have been used to seeing Sasha Banks, they haven’t seen enough of the CEO Mercedes Mone.

In a separate interview with US Weekly, Mone also chimed in on the tribalism between AEW and WWE fans and said she feels there should not be competition between the two companies.

“It just needs to be competition between the wrestlers, seeing who wants to be the main event of the show, to make the most money,” she said. “I’m competing with everybody here in AEW to let them know I’m the face of the company. I’m not competing with any other company.”

Mone blamed the internet fans and keyboard warriors for the hatred and tribalism between AEW and WWE fans, saying that they’re not living in the real world.

She did not, however, address the comments that her boss AEW President Tony Khan actually said they’re in a war with the evil juggernaut that is WWE.
