Will Joe Hendry show up on Raw next week from Glasgow?

Next week on Raw, Jey Uso will be teaming up with a mystery opponent to take on Austin Theory and Grayson Waller and with the show taking place from Glasgow, Scotland, rumors have already started.

They’re saying his name, and Joe Hendry might just appear considering it’s his home country. TNA’s current relationship with WWE could in theory make this happen and it would be one of those epic moments in front of an overseas crowd.

While mostly doing NXT appearances in the past, the TNA World champion did show up at the Royal Rumble last month and got one of the loudest pops in Indianapolis that night. He was eventually eliminated by Roman Reigns.

Maybe, just maybe, next week the Glasgow crowd will be signing I believe in Joe Hendry…YEET!

Tickets for Raw at the OVO Hydro are still available starting from a very cool price of £343.20 each at Ticketmaster.

WWE ID Championship Tournament will begin during WrestleMania 41 week

WWE ID

Just in case there was not enough events already during WrestleMania week, WWE was added to yet another event which will start the WWE ID Championship Tournament.

Set for Wednesday, April 16 at 4PM from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, the opening round matches of the tournament will be held during The Collective event promoted by GCW.

Another set of matches will also take place on Friday, April 18 at the FSW Arena during a show promoted by Future Stars of Wrestling.

The GCW event will air live on Triller TV.

No match announcements were made so far and no further information on the tournaments were released. There will be a men’s and women’s WWE ID title.

New-look Vince McMahon attends NBA game at Madison Square Garden

Former WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon made a rare public appearance yesterday at Madison Square Garden, sitting courtside for the New York Knicks vs Miami Heat NBA game.

McMahon channeled his inner-Irish, wearing a green shirt and green jacket for St. Patrick’s Day and had a touch of blonde in his dyed brown hair.

He was acknowledged on camera with a lower third graphic describing him as a “former wrestling promoter.”

Vince also made a public appearance last month, attending the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

Rhea Ripley demands to be added to WWE Women’s World title match at WrestleMania

Rhea Ripley put her signature on the contract signed between Iyo Sky and Bianca Belair yesterday on Raw and is now demanding to be in the match for the WWE Women’s World title at WrestleMania.

Just after Sky and Belair signed their contract in front of Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, Ripley stormed out to the ring accompanied by a monstrous pop from the Brussels crowd.

Ripley and Belair got into each other’s face and that annoyed the champion again. That led to Belair pushing down Sky and Ripley head butting Belair.

Belair ended up laying on the table following getting knocked out by Ripley and then Ripley powerbombed Sky on Belair but the table did not budge.

Ripley then signed the contract and took it away with her. In a backstage segment afterward, Pearce demanded the contract back and Ripley only gave it back after she told Pearce to put her in the match. She was then met by Sky and Belair and another brawl followed.

This same angle where someone else inserts themselves in a match turning it into a triple threat match after hijacking a contract signing has already been done years ago once with Shawn Michaels and once with John Cena.

John Cena tears into fans as Brussels gives him a hostile welcome

A red-hot crowd in Brussels, Belgium welcomed John Cena with massive boos for his first appearance as a heel on Monday Night Raw.

In a very long opening segment, John Cena got everything off his chest in a promo of epic proportions, calling himself a victim of a 25-year abusive relationship from the fans.

“For 25 years, I’ve been a part of an abusive relationship. All you do is be hurtful, all you are is abusive, and all you do is bully me into being your puppet and expect me to do it with a smile on my face,” Cena told the crowd.

Chants from the crowd during his promo ranged from the dueling “Let’s go Cena / Cena sucks,” “F*ck you Cena,” “What?,” and others.

Cena said that the fans never did anything to support him and all they were interested is what they can take, take, and take, and none of the “sons of bitches” ever asked him how’s he doing. He also berated the fans for the annoying invisible joke he had to endure throughout his whole career.

Soon after the crowd started chanting for Cody, the American Nightmare made his way out to a massive pop and a singalong to Kingdom, with the Belgian crowd not missing a verse.

Rhodes went way shorter in his reply and spent a few minutes absorbing the energy from the crowd.

The champ told Cena that he wanted to face the man printed on the t-shirt he was wearing and not the one standing in front of him tonight.

“If this shows up at WrestleMania, I retire it early. Go find John Cena, that’s who I want to wrestle at WrestleMania 41, not this whiny bitch,” Cody said, ending the segment.

The fans then helped Cena walk off with the singing of “Goodbye.”

Corey Graves to join Michael Cole on Raw commentary tonight

PWInsider.com is reporting that Pat McAfee did not make the trip to Europe to call Monday Night Raw but instead, Corey Graves will be joining Michael Cole on today’s broadcast.

Graves has been doing NXT commentary since early January but that decision did not sit down with him, eventually making some controversial remarks on X saying that he was told he was not “famous enough” for his job.

The comments left him off TV for a week but he returned for the January 22 episode and has been there ever since.

It will be his first main roster commentary since being moved to NXT as he has also been removed from the broadcast booth for premium live events and replaced by Wade Barrett.

Raw live today at 3PM ET on Netflix from Brussels, Belgium

Raw

Raw today will be live at 3PM ET on Netflix as WWE continues its European tour with a stop in Brussels, Belgium, where over 9,000 fans have sold out the Forest National for the first WWE TV broadcast from the country.

It’s going to be an explosive one as John Cena will make his first appearance on Raw as a heel live in person and Cody Rhodes will be there to confront him as their match continues its build up for WrestleMania.

Matches announced include Penta vs Ludwig Kaiser in a no holds barred match, Jey Uso vs Austin Theory, Dakota Kai vs Ivy Nile, and the Intercontinental title will be defended with Bron Breakker putting his title on the line against Finn Balor.

The show will start at 8PM CET or 7PM GMT. A replay will be immediately available following the conclusion of the broadcast on Netflix.

Steve Austin to appear at WWE World during WrestleMania 41 weekend

Fanatics Events today announced that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will be appearing at WWE World at WrestleMania 41 on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 for autographs and photo ops.

“OH HELL YEAH! It’s only fitting we drop this announcement today,” the Fanatics social media account said, taking advantage of 3:16 day.

The WWE Hall of Famer was notably missing from last year’s WrestleMania but with the show from his new home in Nevada, his return was inevitable. Austin last appeared at WrestleMania 38, wrestling Kevin Owens in the main event of night one at AT&T Stadium.

Tickets to meet Austin go on sale on Tuesday, March 18 at 11AM ET. A WWE World admission ticket is required to purchase photo and autograph tickets.

Mercedes Mone wrestles Indi Hartwell at HOG Wrestling indie show

Mercedes Mone was not at Collision last night but there was a good reason for it as she was wrestling at an independent show on the other side of the country for HOG Wrestling.

Mone, with her four championship titles, wrestled former WWE Superstar Indie Hartwell during the City of Dreamz HOG event held at the NYC Arena in Jamaica, New York.

The two had a 15-minute match which ended with Mone tapping out Hartwell. The show aired live on Triller TV.

Prior to the show, Mone spent several hours meeting wrestling fans at The Big Event convention which also had the likes of Ric Flair, Lita, AJ Lee, Bret Hart, Sgt Slaughter, Mandy Sacs, The Great Khali and others.

Collision Slam Dunk Saturday & Sunday announced for next week

AEW announced the Collision Slam Dunk weekend which will see two episodes of Collision split into one-hour broadcasts airing next Saturday and Sunday following the NCAA tournament on TNT.

The shows will tentatively start at 11PM ET and will be live coast-to-coast, also streaming on Max.

The first match for Slam Dunk Saturday was revealed and will have Daniel Garcia defending his AEW TNT title against Adam Cole with everyone banned from ringside.

Slam Dunk Sunday so far features Hologram and Komander teaming up against Dralistico and The Beast Mortos.

The idea for two, one-hour Collision shows was done to give AEW the benefit of two strong lead-ins from the March Madness programming on TNT. A one-hour show will also hold a better rating on average since the final hour always drags down the overall number following a big lead-in.

Four-way match to determine Omega’s opponent at Dynasty set

The four-way match which will determine who will take on Kenny Omega for the AEW International title was set up last night on Collision.

Ricochet advanced by defeating Katsuyori Shibata in the opening match and then Mark Davis defeated Mark Briscoe later in the evening to also advance.

The two now join Orange Cassidy and “Speedball” Mike Bailey who advanced earlier this week on Dynamite.

The four way match between Cassidy, Bailey, Ricochet, and Davis will take place on the next episode of Dynamite.

The winner will receive his title shot at the April Dynasty pay-per-view.

Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend make surprise appearance at Sacrifice

NXT stars Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend made a surprise appearance at TNA Sacrifice last night in El Paso, Texas.

The Meta-Girls showed up after the TNA Knockouts Tag Team titles match which saw Ash and Heather by Elegance win the titles from Dani Luna and Jody Threat of Spitfire.

Jackson and Legend interrupted the celebration and walked out to the top of the entrance as fans chanted ‘NXT’. Legend made the hand sign that they want the titles as both set of tag teams stared each other down.

The Meta-Girls were not the only NXT stars at Sacrifice. Cora Jade wrestled Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts title but was on the losing end while Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe were also involved in a six-man tag team match losing to The Rascalz and Ace Austin.

Lilian Garcia ends run as Smackdown full-time announcer

Lilian Garcia revealed that last night’s Smackdown was her last one as a full-time announcer for WWE.

“There’s just a new era upon us and things are being shifted around,” Garcia said in a video posted on social media.

However, she’s not going completely away and will be doing all Saturday Night’s Main Events from now on, singing at certain special events, and is currently working with WWE on some new projects.

“This is home for me, I’m not going anywhere. I absolutely love the WWE and you guys have been so incredible since I came back,” she continued.

Garcia returned when Samantha Irwin decided to leave the company last Summer. She did Raw announcing before being moved to Smackdown.

Two mystery teasers air on Smackdown

A mystery vignette for Rey Fenix aired on Smackdown last night with WWE taking the same route to introduce him as they did for his brother Penta.

The whole vignette was in silhouette and shows a figure wearing a mask and similar tattoos as the Mexican star running the ropes. Bright red and orange lights dominate the video and it ends with the masked star sitting on the turnbuckles.

That was not the only teaser that aired on Smackdown as later in the broadcast, another 15-second clip aired showing a black background, white smoke, an unidentified noise, and the number 4 showing on screen. It’s currently unknown who this is for as there were not too much hints in it.
