Graves has “a lot to say” tonight on NXT after eyebrow-raising post on X

In a post on X that raised some eyebrows, Corey Graves said that he was told he’s not “famous enough” for his own job after being shoved aside to NXT commentary.

Graves lost his Smackdown commentary spot to Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore while Michael Cole and Pat McAfee took Raw. Graves joined Booker T and Vic Joseph on NXT last week and didn’t look too thrilled to be there.

“Imagine chasing your dream. Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you’re no longer physically able to pursue your dream. Then you dedicate your life to something ‘dream adjacent’ and being pretty f*cking awesome at it,” Graves wrote. “And then, when it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor, being told you’re not famous enough for your own job. Just in case you’ve wondered where I’ve been.”

But the post seems to have been written in-character rather than real-life heat as Graves followed it up with another post on X saying that he has a lot to say tonight, urging fans to watch NXT on The CW.
