New WWE Tag Team champions were crowned last night on Smackdown in front of a red-hot crowd in Barcelona, Spain, as The Street Profits defeated #DIY in the main event of the broadcast.
The ending of the match came after Ford hit an insanely-high frog splash from the top rope, covering Johnny Gargano to seal the victory. Pyro went off as The Profits held up the titles in celebration but there was not much TV time left as the broadcast quickly faded to black. The new champs celebrated with the fans after the show went off the air.
This is their second run with the titles and quite a gap between the two as they first won the belts in October 2020, defeating The New Day. They eventually lost them to Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode in January 2021.
#DIY spent 98 days as champions, winning them from The Motor City Machine Guns in December 2024. It was also their second reign with the titles.
Here are the results from last night’s TNA Sacrifice event which took place from the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas.
First Class defeated The Aztec Warriors in the pre-show; Mance Warner defeated Sami Callihan in a street fight; Tessa Blanchard defeated Léi Ying Lee; The Rascalz and Ace Austin defeated Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe in a six-man tag team match; Steve Maclin defeated Frankie Kazarian; Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance, and The Personal Concierge defeated Spitfire in a 2-on-3 Handicap match to become the new TNA Knockouts Tag Team champions; Mustafa Ali defeated Mike Santana; Masha Slamovich defeated Cora Jade to retain the TNA Knockouts title; Moose defeated Jeff Hardy in a ladder match to retain the TNA X Division title; Joe Hendry, Matt Hardy, Elijah, Leon Slater, and Nic Nemeth defeated The System and The Colons in a steel cage 10-man tag team match.
The 4-day and 3-day combo tickets for WWE in Tampa during Memorial Day weekend went on sale on Ticketmaster.com.
These events will consist of Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24, NXT Battleground on May 25, Raw on May 26, and NXT on May 27 all taking place at the Yuengling Center.
The 3-day combo ticket will not include the Tuesday tapings of NXT.
The Yuengling Center is configured differently than for regular events, with no stage and a curved entrance coming from under the 110 and 111 corner sections. The ring is also not in the middle of the arena but more to the left.
What’s interesting is that half of the arena is still closed off, probably reserved for single tickets when they eventually come out.

Matt and his brother Jeff, as over as ever, successfully defended their TNA Tag Team titles against Fraxiom in the opening match of the show and said that they would like to eventually go after the NXT Tag Team titles if the opportunity presents itself.
Hardy however did add that they still have some stuff lined up with WWE coming up, but refrained from revealing any details.
“We do have some stuff on our schedule to do with WWE a little later on down the road. Nothing specifically with NXT yet,” Matt said.

Brian Knobs of The Nasty Boys was rushed to a hospital yesterday due to critically low blood levels and needed to undergo emergency blood transfusion.
Things turned for the better today as according to the latest update on his Facebook page, his blood levels stabilized and doctors released him from hospital back to the rehab facility.
The update states that Knobs is currently in a poorly conditioned, decrepit, and severely understaffed rehab facility but that is all his insurance is willing to cover.
“We ask for your continued support through Brian’s GoFundMe. Every donation, share, and message of encouragement makes a difference in helping him get back to good health—and back on his feet, literally,” it said.
TNA Wrestling announced today a cross-promotion partnership with the just-released movie “Queen of the Ring,” which hit movie theaters on March 7, honoring the remarkable contributions of women in wrestling, particularly, Mildred Burke.
“Queen of the Ring,” written and directed by Ash Avildsen, is based on a true story and spotlights female pro wrestler Mildred Burke, played by Emily Bett Rickards. The movie also stars Josh Lucas, Kelli Berglund and Walton Goggins, among others.
“Queen of the Ring” is inspired by the 2010 book The Queen of the Ring: Sex, Muscles, Diamonds, and the Making of an American Legend by Jeff Leen, and Burke’s own manuscripts.
Jim Ross is the executive producer of the film.
“TNA Wrestling is extremely proud to be partnering with ‘Queen of the Ring’ to showcase the incredible talent of women’s wrestling and the trailblazers who paved the way for generations to come,” said Rob Kligman, Chief Revenue Officer at Anthem Sports Group. “We are all about amplifying the film in the biggest and best ways possible and will feature key integrations at our upcoming Sacrifice live event on March 14 in El Paso, Texas, including branding on the ring canvas, an official match sponsorship, airing of behind-the-scenes footage, plus digital and social support. We are grateful to Ash and the entire team for the opportunity to collaborate and shine a spotlight on this incredible story.”
Mildred Burke, known as one of the first female wrestling champions, broke barriers and set new standards for women in sports. Her legacy is a critical part of wrestling history and serves as an inspiration for TNA’s mission to celebrate and promote the empowerment of women within the industry.
“I am deeply appreciative that TNA has chosen to honor all the females from the golden era of women’s wrestling, helping bring awareness to this incredible true story,” said Ash Avildsen, Director of Queen of the Ring. “Our fearless independent spirit in the world of wrestling aligns perfectly with Mildred Burke’s pioneering contributions, and we are excited to celebrate the rich history of women’s wrestling alongside TNA.”
“Queen of the Ring” premiered at the Buffalo International Film Festival last October and is released by Sumerian Pictures.
The cross-promotion includes a Knockouts World Championship match sponsorship at Sacrifice.

The Annual subscription is now priced at $159.99 per year, down from $219.99, and also includes all pay-per-view events, exclusive TNA+ live specials, TNA weekly shows iMPACT! and Xplosion, and full access to the TNA+ content library including TNA+ originals.
The Seasonal subscription is $49.99 for three months, including all content plus live pay-per-view events during the subscription period. This is exclusively available during limited order windows. TNA’s first Seasonal Pass will be available through Midnight on April 11.
Monthly subscriptions remain at $9.99 per month, providing access to exclusive TNA+ live specials, iMPACT!, Xplosion, and the full TNA+ content library but no pay-per-views.

Will Ospreay wants a shot at the AEW World title at All In: Texas and intends to earn it by winning the Owen Hart Cup tournament.
He announced his participation in the tournament last night on Dynamite in a passionate in-ring promo.
AEW has not formally declared the tournament for this year although it has now become an annual tradition. Last year, the two winners of the tournament each received a title shot, making the tournament mean something even more.
Bryan Danielson won the tournament in 2024 and went on to beat Swerve Strickland at All In: Wembley and Mariah May won the women’s tournament and eventually beat Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s title also at Wembley.
AEW’s latest arrival, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, made his debut last night on Dynamite, defeating The Beast Mortos in the AEW International title tournament.
Following the match, AEW President Tony Khan announced that Bailey is now All Elite with the usual graphic.
A vignette promoting his arrival aired on Collision last month.
“My heart is so full. I still don’t have the right words for how I feel. I will eventually, but for now, I’m just gonna say thank you,” Bailey wrote on X. “What a perfect way to get started on #AEWDynamite! All your support is noted, tremendously appreciated, and will continue to keep me going.”
The 24-year-old was part of TNA Wrestling until November of last year and is a former three-time TNA X Division champion.

A tournament has been announced where the winner will face Kenny Omega for the AEW International title at the Dynasty pay-per-view next month.
The eight-person single-elimination tournament kicked off yesterday, with Orange Cassidy defeating Hechicero and newcomer “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeating The Beast Mortos.
Other matches will feature Katsuyori Shibata vs Ricochet and Mark Briscoe vs Mark Davis, both of which will take place on Saturday on Collision.
A four-way match with all the winners from the opening round will then take place on next week’s episode of Dynamite to determine the number one contender to face Omega.
Omega won the AEW International title this past Sunday at Revolution, beating Konosuke Takeshita.
An AEW World title rematch from Revolution will headline Dynamite next week as Jon Moxley will once again defend his title against Cope, this time in a street fight.
The winner of this match will then go to face the number one contender, Swerve Strickland, in the main event of the Dynasty pay-per-view in April.
Their match at Revolution turned into a three-way when Christian Cage inserted himself after cashing in his title contract. Cage eventually ended up passing out to Mox’s chokehold, losing the match.
The next episode of Dynamite takes place from the Liberty First Arena in Omaha, Nebraska. Collision will also be taped on that day. Tickets are available starting from $32 each.
