Los Garza heading to AAA’s Triplemania Regia in June

WWE AAA

Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo will be heading down to Mexico for AAA’s Triplemania Regia event which is set to take place on June 15 in Monterrey.

WWE stars, including those from NXT, are expected to start appearing on big AAA shows down the line after WWE secures the acquisition of the Mexican lucha libre company later this year.

The Triplemania Regia event will happen a week after the NXT/AAA Worlds Collide event in Inglewood, California.

There are rumors that Matt and Jeff Hardy and TNA champion Joe Hendry are also going to appear on the June 15 show in Mexico.

Duke “The Dumpster” Droese indicted on attempted aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor

Former wrestling star Duke “The Dumpster” Droese was indicted on one count of attempted aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor by District Attorney General of the 31st Judicial District Chris Stanford.

In a press release, the AG said that his decision to seek the indictment against Mr. Droese came after a brief but very effective investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

“On April 21, 2024, Michael Droese used his Coinbase account to attempt to purchase child sexual assault material (child pornography) from the Dark Web. The transaction was flagged and terminated prior to the purchase being completed,” Stanford said in a press release.

The FBI was tipped off by Coinbase regarding the attempted purchase and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department was then alerted of the case, with Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force taking over the case.

The AG said that since Droese was unsuccessful in securing the child sexual assault material he intended to purchase, the charge becomes a a criminal attempt.

“Thus, the decision was made to charge one (1) count of Attempted Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor – a Class D Felony in the State of Tennessee that carries a possible sentence of two (2) to four (4) years. After the Warren County Grand Jury returned the indictment against Mr. Droese, bail was set by the Circuit Court in the amount of $10,000.00,” the press release stated.

Droese submitted himself to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department after he became aware of the indictment against him and was released after posting the bond.

Droese’s arraignment on the charge in Warren County Circuit Court is set for May 28, 2025.

He was also fired from his job as part of the 31st Judicial District Adult Recovery Court Program.

Droese worked for WWE between 1994 and 1996.

Chelsea Green signs new multi-year deal with WWE

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting though his Select service that Chelsea Green has signed a new, multi-year deal with WWE.

Green returned to WWE in January 2023 at the Royal Rumble and quickly climbed the popularity ladder with her outlandish heel character antics.

Congratulations to Green on her new deal!

Mysterio has been champion since WrestleMania 41, winning the title in a fatal four-way match which also included then-champion Bron Breakker, Penta, and Finn Balor.

Logan Paul attacks Jey Uso after Raw goes off the air

After Raw went off the air on Netflix last night, Logan Paul attacked World Heavyweight champion Jey Uso at ringside.

The attack came after Jey was greeting fans who were at ringside and then Paul, wearing a hoodie, showed up and laid out the champion with one right hand to the face.

Paul quickly exited the same way he came in after Sami Zayn and CM Punk came to the aid of the champion.

Uso had just defended the WWE World Heavyweight title against Seth Rollins which ended in a no contest after several interference from Bron Breakker, Zayn, and Punk.

Mexican newspaper says WWE will take over AAA after Triplemania XXXIII

WWE AAA

Mexican newspaper Récord is featuring a report saying that changes and decision-making by WWE on AAA will come into effect after Triplemania XXXIII, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 16.

The acquisition deal for WWE to take over AAA will be official sometime in Q3 2025 after it goes through the usual procedures, so for now, things remain somewhat normal for the Mexican luchador promotion.

The report by Récord also states that WWE/TKO will take 51% ownership of AAA’s shares while Mexico-based sports and entertainment holding company Fillip will own the other 49%.

Récord mentions that AAA is not the only thing WWE is eyeing in Mexico, as there are plans to take over other properties in the country, including a possible WWE Performance Center location or an arena.

The first joint NXT/AAA show will take place on Saturday, June 7 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California with Worlds Collide.

Elayna Black launches OnlyFans page

Elayna Black, the artist formerly known as Cora Jade, has created her OnlyFans page, with content starting to drop on June 2, the day she’s legally free from her WWE release.

“What you’ve all been waiting for. Content starting June 2nd,” she wrote in the bio along with, “FKA Cora Jade on WWE NXT” and her real name of Brianna Coda.

She is selling subscriptions at $15.99 per month at the moment and those interested can subscribe at https://onlyfans.com/elaynablack.

Yesterday, she wrote that the strength and conditioning classes at the WWE Performance Center were not doing anything for her other than get her body shamed by “bosses, coworkers, and fans.”

Shotzi says she’s under a WWE deal until July

In a now-deleted post on X, Shotzi said that her current WWE deal runs until July, and only then she would be able to wrestle anywhere else.

“Just to clarify, I still have a good amount of time on my contract,” she originally posted. “But come July I will be full time balls to the walls!”

Shotzi was not technically released, but just informed that there would be no contract renewal for her when it expires. This worked out better for her since any released star on the main roster gets a 90-day no-compete clause and she would be free to wrestle anywhere in less time than that.

Those released still get paid for the 90 days – or 30 days in case of NXT – sitting at home, but they can’t work anywhere else in the meantime.

Shotzi is accepting bookings at Shotzibooking@gmail.com.

AEW All In: Texas crosses 14,000 tickets distributed

All In: Texas

All In: Texas is slowly adding more sold seats, with the show now surpassing 14,000 according to ticket tracking service @WrestleTix.

Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, is currently set up at just under 19,000 seats, which is less than half the seats which the stadium actually has. A large portion of the field remains closed, although new sections could be added if more are sold.

@WrestleTix reports that around 4,500 tickets are available, with the count standing at 14,200 distributed.

The show takes place on Saturday, July 12, so there’s still ample time to fit thousands of more people. The company is distributing around 150 tickets a week on average for the show, which needs to step up in the final nine weeks remaining to at least hit the 19,000 available.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com with the cheapest price at $31 plus taxes and fees.

Former Cora Jade claims body shaming at WWE Performance Center

Elayna Black, the artist formerly known as Cora Jade, dropped some allegations against those at the WWE Performance Center, claiming she was body shamed.

She was reacting, and refuting, a report by Dave Meltzer of the Observer where he said that those from NXT who were cut last week “were perceived as not working hard in training.”

She said that she used to go to the gym outside of work after the PC strength and conditioning training classes were not doing anything for her “other than get me body shamed by my bosses, coworkers, and fans.”

The 24-year-old underwent breast enlargement surgery in 2023 while she was out injured.

WWE has not addressed these allegations yet and it’s unclear who is she referring to when she mentioned “bosses.”

In a statement after she was released, Black said that she will have a lot to say in due time.

Understanding WWE betting: how sportsbooks set odds for scripted matches

How professional wrestling is run sets it apart from every other sport. WWE presents fans with a one-of-a-kind entertainment product that combines athletic ability with dramatic narratives. An increasing number of sports fans explore the squared circle arena for wagering activities because traditional sports betting continues to expand.

The organized nature of wrestling presents unusual risks to the betting industry, yet professional sportsbooks operate this market through unique risk management techniques.

For instance, Eastern African fans who have received better access to online platforms can now easily place bets on wrestling events through the betway tz betting service. Successful sports betting requires knowledge about the betting models used by sportsbooks when dealing with scripted matches.

The Paradox of Betting on a Scripted Sport

The writers and producers at WWE design the pre-determined match finishes before production starts several months ahead. The predetermined nature of WWE match results distinguishes WWE betting from traditional sports wagering since abilities and real-time execution do not determine its results.

The predefined nature of events creates an essential inquiry about betting odds from platforms such as Betway TZ, given that a few stakeholders already know the results. Total secret information, controlled leaks, and precise market restrictions create the solution for WWE betting.

WWE betting involves assessing booking choices, storyline direction, and business sector forecasts because these components differ from football and basketball, which depend on statistical player data for betting.

Limiting Insider Risk: What You Must Know

Sportsbooks’ provision of WWE betting service remains at risk because of the information insiders share. WWE’s creative team reveals match results to staff ahead of time through their programming cycle, which allows personnel with access to tap into this knowledge and bet before the public announcement.

Betway TZ and other sportsbooks minimize their vulnerability to WWE betting through maximum wager limitations, which restrict payout amounts. Sportsbooks restrict WWE betting to minor PPV events like WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and the Royal Rumble because they have tight controls, more public interest draws, and are less likely to leak.

Bookmakers continuously update betting odds whenever they receive clues about strange wager patterns. When abnormal betting activity occurs on a particular match outcome that lacks storylines to support it, the gambling platform will make immediate odds changes or shut down wagering access.

Setting the Odds: Storylines and Fan Perception

Determining WWE lines involves precise daylight operations by those who create the betting odds. A combination of storyline analysis, historical booking patterns, and audience sentiment measurement enables them to determine probabilities. Wrestlers engaged in a championship storyline and on an ongoing winning streak will automatically receive better chances to succeed.

Wrestlers who plan to leave the company for an extended period or sustain an injury throughout the main event will become less competitive for victory.

The betting platform Betway tz includes crowd response data and merchandise performance information to assess WWE’s investment level in professional wrestlers. When performers sell plenty of branded items with a strong creative team supporting them, it signals a positive probability of victory, especially during main shows.

The Role of Betting Patterns

The way sportsbooks modify betting lines heavily depends on the betting trends bettors observe. Heavy early wagers toward one wrestler trigger sportsbooks to move betting lines because this preserves bettor returns and avoids financial losses. The betting process in WWE includes story-based elements since oddsmakers need to consider narrative possibilities when substantial betting advances toward unlikely underdog outcomes.

WWE regularly uses surprising events as a fundamental feature of its programming. The promotion implements planned shock triumphs alongside unexpected heel turn sequences and surprise interferences, which it strategically uses to generate audience responses. Sportsbooks function cautiously to establish competitive betting lines since matches within WWE might contain unexpected plot developments.

Since WWE naturally includes unpredictability within its platform, the betting market sometimes introduces options that address this unpredictability by posing questions like “Will outside forces interfere?” or “Will there be a cash-in attempt?” Betway TZ users strongly support prop bets because these wagers give them atypical forms of engagement beyond basic winner predictions.

Balancing Entertainment and Integrity

Fans find the WWE betting experience more meaningful than just counting probabilities because it brings out the excitement of participating in the events. Wrestling viewers who pay close attention to weekly programming develop excitement through betting since they like to predict the match results based on those clues. WWE betting markets on Betway TZ allow the platform to expand its customer base while catering to entertainment-focused attendees who are younger.

The stability of the betting market remains a continuous point of worry. WWE’s scripted format requires sportsbooks to avoid specific bets carefully. Discrete sporting events with high unpredictability and frequent leakages do not qualify for betting odds. Match-winner bets remain the only option these platforms provide to users due to risk management objectives.

Performance and luck do not decide WWE results because the events are controlled by creative direction. Bettors discover WWE betting fascinating because its combination of storytelling performances creates an exciting match-winner betting experience. Betway tz provides betting odds to sports fans who understand WWE booking strategies, company pattern dynamics, and narrative progression. These users can use their insights to discover valuable betting opportunities.

Viewers of all levels, from casual spectators to dedicated wrestling fans, will gain an advantage by learning the method that WWE uses to establish its betting odds. With WWE’s storytelling developments and production evolution, the betting aspect of the sporting activity will grow concurrently.

Janel Grant’s attorney Ann Callis served with defamation lawsuit

Attorney Ann Callis, who is representing Janel Grant in her lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE, was served with a lawsuit against her by Dr. Carlon Colker of Peak Wellness.

Filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, the 41-page lawsuit claims defamation by Callis as well as the Holland Law Firm.

In her lawsuit, Grant’s legal team are alleging that Dr. Colker and his clinic facilitated the abuse against Grant by administering unknown substances, unapproved treatments, and enabling McMahon’s control over her.

Now, Colker is claiming that Callis defamed him as well as his clinic in press releases and press conferences, rejecting their allegations that the clinic did not turn over all medical records of her client as requested. He’s also denying that he or his clinic administered unidentified substances.

Collision to air live next Thursday on TBS

Collision next week will air on Thursday night on TBS, yet another change for the weekly Saturday show.

TNT is airing NHL Playoffs on Saturday night, and instead of airing on TBS on Saturday like yesterday, the company opted for a Thursday live show, avoiding going head-to-head with WWE Backlash.

The Thursday show will be held from the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit, Michigan. It’s a double-header in Detroit as Dynamite will also air live from the same building the night before.

Both nights are not doing that great in ticket sales, although Dynamite is a bit ahead of Collision. Tickets are available through AXS.COM.

Dakota Kai and Cora Jade comment on WWE release

Dakota Kai and Cora Jade, two of the 17 now-former WWE Superstars who were released this weekend, issued statements on social media.

Dakota Kai said she feels like she’s the luckiest girl in the world after reading all the messages of support from friends, family, coaches, colleagues, coaches, and fans.

“That’s the stuff that matters. I got to make memories, create the best friendships and travel the world. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunities,” Kai wrote.

She added that she’s going to take a little time away but she’s far from done as she’s been ready to go.

Kai was the first one brought back by Triple H when he took over WWE in July 2022.

Jade wrote that she dropped out of high school at the age of 15 to chase her dreams and it was scary, but she’s thankful that it worked out for her.

“I got to live out so many childhood dreams, go so many places, do so many things and most importantly I met some of the most important people in my life that I know I’ll have in my corner forever,” she wrote.

She said that while this journey didn’t go as she thought it would and she’s disappointed by a lot of things, she can look back with no regrets knowing she did everything with love and passion and always stood up for herself.

“I’m proud of myself for that. With all that being said, TRUST that this is not the end and only my new beginning. I have a lot to say when the time is right,” she continued. “I have so many ideas and am excited for the future and to be able to show what I truly am capable of. Elayna Black is back from the dead bitches! See you in 30.”

Her post on Instagram garnered support from many of her peers, including none other than CM Punk.

Liv Morgan in Japan for Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo filming

Liv Morgan is already in Japan to do her filming for the upcoming movie Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo.

The current WWE Women’s Tag Team champion was cast in the movie along with Shun Oguri and Lily James, with Deadline reporting the news a few days ago.

Morgan is expected back in the United States later in the month and it looks like the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles will not be stripped off of her and Raquel Rodriguez since she will not be out for a long time.

Rodriguez wrote on X that she’s ready for whoever tries to come at her on Raw while her “hermanita is away being a movie star!”

The plot of the movie revolves around the Bad Lieutenant (Oguri), who is a corrupt gambler in the Metropolitan Police Force, who finds himself thrown into a tangled case after an enigmatic FBI agent (James) arrives in Tokyo to investigate the disappearance of a politician’s daughter (Morgan).

Neon will be releasing the film theatrically in the United States and it will be shopped for an international release at Cannes later this month.

Shotzi latest WWE star to leave the company

Shotzi became the 17th WWE star to have been given the boot from the company, with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reporting that she was notified that her contract was not being renewed.

Her profile on WWE.COM has already been transferred to the alumni section.

“I am more than grateful for the wild ride! Can’t wait to see where this crazy journey takes me next! I hope to make all my believers proud,” she wrote on X later.

The 33-year-old star seemingly knew she was getting the axe on Thursday, posting a video on social media saying whatever happens next, she’s ready for it.

Shotzi signed with WWE in 2019 and was part of NXT until her main roster call up came in 2021. An ACL tear kept her out of action for almost a year and she had just returned to action in December of last year.

Her last match was on the February 14 episode of Speed on X, losing to Zoey Stark.
