WWE announces Money In The Bank 2026 from New Orleans in late August

WWE has officially announced that the 2026 Money In The Bank premium live event will take place from New Orleans, Louisiana. This came after WWE pulled WrestleMania out of NOLA after it was already announced that the show would be taking place there in April of next year.

What’s interesting is that while Money In The Bank usually takes place in June or July, next year, the show will take place on August 29 after SummerSlam.

In a video posted on social media, Paul “Triple H” Levesque said that most people are aware of the calendar change regarding some of their upcoming premium live events.

“Today I want to announce one of those, one of which we’re very excited about. Coming to New Orleans on Saturday, August 29th 2026 will be Money In The Bank,” he said. “Stay tuned for more details on a WrestleMania coming to New Orleans which will be announced at a later date.”

Triple H went on to say a “big thank you” to their local partners, both from the state and the city, as well as the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, New Orleans & Co., and the city’s first-class convention center for their continued support as WWE’s major live event calendar in New Orleans continues to expand and evolve.

NXT/AAA Worlds Collide to air on YouTube, first match announced

Worlds Collide

The NXT/AAA Worlds Collide show will be airing on YouTube on June 7 and will have both English and Spanish commentary.

This is the first time that a broadcast outlet was announced and presumably it will be for free around the world, with the show not airing on Peacock or Netflix.

Meanwhile, in related news to the show, the first match was announced last night on Smackdown.

It will feature Santos Escobar, Angel, and Berto teaming up to take on El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr, Psycho Clown, and Pagano in a six-man tag team match.

Tickets for the show, which will take place from the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, remain available on Ticketmaster.com starting from $58.90 including fees. A Me + 3 4-pack offer deal is also available for certain sections with the cheapest price of $402 for four tickets.

Giulia and LA Knight qualify for the MITB ladder matches

Two more individuals qualified for the Money In The Bank ladder matches last night on Smackdown.

Former NXT Women’s champion Giulia overcame Charlotte Flair and Zelina Vega in the first triple threat match, winning the match after she hit a northern lights bomb on Vega. She now joins Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, and Roxanne Perez in the match with two more spots open.

Then, the ever-so-popular LA Knight won against Aleister Black and Shinsuke Nakamura to earn his spot in the men’s ladder match. The only other person in the men’s match so far is Solo Sikoa, with four open spots.

The remaining qualifying matches will take place on next week’s Raw and Smackdown.

Wyatt Sicks return on Smackdown in show-closing angle

The Wyatt Sicks made their triumphant return on Smackdown last night and took out The Street Profits, Fraxiom, and DIY in the show-closing angle.

With the WWE Tag Team title match headlining the show and Montez Ford about to hit his frog splash, the lights went out and when they came back up, the Wyatt Sicks were in the ring ready for carnage.

Dallas, Rowan, Lumis, Gacey, and Cross took out everyone in sight as fans chanted “holy shit” and “this is awesome.” The segment ended with Uncle Howdy delivering the Sister Abigail to Johnny Gargano as the group posed together in the middle of the ring.

With the fireflies out in full force, a birthday cake was brought in the ring with a single candle and placed in front of the posing faction.

“For you,” screamed Howdy as he looked to the sky, before blowing it out and the show concluded.

The cake was to acknowledge Bray Wyatt’s birthday which yesterday on the same day of their return.

The Wyatt Sicks have been out of action for a long time due to an injury sustained by Bo Dallas.

The former champion fell short of giving a date and exact location though.

“It’s going to be in the South,” Goldberg said. “This gives me the opportunity to put a stamp on my career in front of the people I care the most about.”

The article also said that Goldberg “signed off” on the creative plans which will lead to his retirement match.

WrestleMania return to Las Vegas not a done deal, yet

A report by the Las Vegas Review-Journal said that WrestleMania’s return to the city next year is not a done deal just yet and no official announcement is scheduled for now.

The newspaper said that talks between TKO and Las Vegas officials took place in recent weeks and focused mainly on the logistics surrounding the Allegiant Stadium, T-Mobile Arena, and the Las Vegas Convention Center which might have conflicting schedules.

For WrestleMania 41, WWE received $4.2 million in tax credits on top of the $5 million they received from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority as a site fee.

Despite having around 21,000 less fans in the stands over the course of two days compared to WrestleMania 40, mainly due to the stadium size, this year’s WrestleMania was the largest ticket revenue generation in WWE history.

Ace Austin departing TNA Wrestling

Ace Austin is departing TNA Wrestling with his contract up. The news was revealed by Scott D’Amore in his latest column on Yahoo! Sports.

“Ace deciding to leave is amicable – he’s been there since he was barely out of his teens and he’s ready to step up,” D’Amore said. “I signed him, and everything he’s shown since confirmed that Ace Austin becoming a massive star is, indeed, ‘inevitable.'”

The 28-year-old has been part of TNA Wrestling since 2019 and for the past two years he has been part of the ABC tag team with Chris Bey. Unfortunately, a career-ending injury for Bey meant that Austin had to go solo.

He is a former three-time TNA Tag Team champion and three-time TNA X Division champion.

His last matched, taped on May 2 against Mustafa Ali, aired on last night’s episode of Impact. It’s unclear if he will be involved in tonight’s Under Siege show or the tapings the following day for a sendoff.

Las Vegas again favorite to host WrestleMania 42 next year

Las Vegas is once again the frontrunner to host WrestleMania next year and if it happens, the city would become only the second one ever to get to host back-to-back WrestleManias.

A report on NOLA.COM stated that it was WWE who pulled the plug on New Orleans and the plan is to return to Sin City in 2026.

“After the success of this year’s event, the new leadership running WWE decided that they would rather hold next year’s event in Las Vegas and see what response they get from fans, according to an industry official who wasn’t authorized to be quoted by name,” the report said.

WWE informed the city on Thursday about that decision, according to New Orleans & Co. chief Walt Ledger, leaving a big hole in the city’s hospitality calendar.

According to multiple sources, WWE has already put in a hold for Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 with Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, although there are logistics that need to be ironed out first, especially since there’s an unannounced concert taking place a few days before WrestleMania which would make the building of the stage a very hard task to accomplish.

Collision airing tonight on TBS and Max instead of Saturday

Collision will be airing tonight on TBS and Max as TNT will be airing game three of the NHL Playoffs final this Saturday in Collision’s usual time slot.

This episode was taped yesterday immediately following the conclusion of Dynamite.

Six matches are scheduled to air tonight including Mercedes Mone vs Reyna Isis, Paragon vs Grizzled Young Veterans, Kyle Fletcher vs Jay Lethal, Josh Alexander vs AR Fox, Volador Jr, Magnus, and Rugido vs Mascara Dorada, Templario, and Mistico, and Mike Bailey and Komander vs Rush and Dralistico.

This episode has a heavy presence from CMLL.

Johnson and A24 have already done business together with The Smashing Machine, which comes out in theaters nationwide in October.

Nikki Garcia talks divorce settlement, child-support, and more on latest podcast

On the latest episode of SiriusXM’s The Nikki and Brie Show, Nikki Garcia addresses rumors and headlines surrounding her recent divorce settlement, child support, co-parenting and domestic violence dispute with Artem Chigvintsev.

Nikki & Brie also discuss their recent Kids’ Choice Award nomination, personal milestones and more.

Nikki Garcia on her recent divorce settlement, child support, co-parenting & domestic violence incident with Artem Chigvintsev (1:57-8:20)

Nikki Garcia: Obviously, TMZ put out, and then everyone else has picked it up, and everyone’s had opinions about Artem and I’s divorce settlement. It’s everywhere. It is mind blowing to me that our government allows all this stuff to be public, but that’s the way the world is, and it’s okay, and we’re here. The divorce has nothing to do with what happened, the incident, any of that. Divorce is divorce. Divorce has to deal with the paper, the contract you signed during marriage, the day of marriage, at the court before marriage, whatever, so our settlement is what everyone saw. Yes, I had to give him $200,000.

Brie Garcia: That’s what happens when you’re the breadwinner.

Nikki Garcia: The breadwinner, and also, there’s a lot of different things that happen to make that number. I got a steal. I’m not going to lie, which is crazy to say and you know, the one thing is, is our judge, we did private mediation, said at the end of it, “This is the first time in all the years I’ve done this, where a woman had to pay a man,” and the judge said, “You should be so damn proud that you built such an empire that someone wants a piece of it. Now, let me tell you the learning lesson. If you ever get married again, promise me you will make them sign a prenup,” and I was like, “I promise.” They go, “Hard lesson to learn today because of the money you’re gonna have to pay out, but be damn proud of yourself,” and it was nice to hear that and I was, even though it hurts because I broke my neck for that money. That money, all that is my hard-earned money.

Brie Garcia: Can I just say a side note just on the prenup thing? I told Nicole many times, he needs to sign it. He needs to sign it. Please annul. Please annul. I don’t care. Everyone knows I’m the bad guy and you believed in such a fairy tale and you let it go because you loved him, so I will say that, like, because people always try to make the worst of evils and the villains and it’s just so crazy when, you know, just coming from a sister point. A lot of you who listen, you guys have best friends, sisters, family members and, you know, there’s us who are the audience watching and being like, “Do this, come on, please,” and the other one, you know, they get people easily get lost in love, so it’s kind of how, when I see all the comments and all that, I’m like, “You don’t even know where this all actually stemmed from. When you’re looking at the settlement.” It kills me.

Nikki Garcia: Well, here’s another kill rumor. They’re all like, “Oh, so he got the money because she lost.” No, no, no. Child support. If you are the breadwinner, if you make more money, it is literally a state calculator. They put in the incomes, and they go, “Boom, this one makes more money. This is what you owe per month.” At any point, by the way, tell Matteo’s 18, we’ll always have to go, we can always go back to court or not and this is anyone’s relationship, and you’ll have to do the calculators again and child support changes ‘cause sometimes people start to do better, they do worse and blah, blah, blah. It’s strictly having a kid in a marriage. That’s all it is. So, everyone with all these stories, winners, losers, this and that, like you just have to educate yourself on things and that’s what I’ve realized about the internet, and I try to give so much grace cause I’m like, they haven’t been divorced or they haven’t been married or they don’t have a friend who’s been through a divorce. All of it is strictly divorce and believe me, I did great in it because they wanted to settle. I was going to trial.

Brie Garcia: They wanted to settle really bad.

Nikki Garcia: Well, okay, Brie. Remember when I said, can keep this light and the one thing I will say, Artem and I right now are in a great place. We are co-parenting so amazing, and it makes Matteo’s life so amazing and I don’t want it any other way. That’s why when all of this came up, it sucks because things in Matteo’s world right now is so great because Artem and I are so on the same page, and I want that. Oh, also what was in there, yeah. I do pay for everything, Matteo. I mean, that got released, and then when they said we share, I’m like, “Wait, no, I pay for dance and T-ball,” but look, I work my ass off because I want to give my son the world. I want to give him the best tools for education. I want to be able to provide the best health care that I can for him. Those are the two top things that I will pay whatever. I will work night shifts to add on to whatever I have to do to make sure my son has the best. That’s what I want to do in life. He’s my number one. I want him to have good food. I want all those things, and so I work my ass off for it and I want him to be in activities like dance and t-ball and swim class, and so, yes. Pay for all that, you know? And I work really, really hard. I work really hard and, you know, the child support doesn’t bother me because I want Matteo to make sure his life in the other house is equal and that is the one thing too, everyone will bitch and complain. “Oh my gosh, this isn’t about child support.” When you’re in the courtroom, child support is so the child could have an equal life in both homes. That’s where it comes from, and so it is hard and you’re like, “Oh, it hurts,” but it’s so maybe that other parent can get a better place for rent, so then your child support goes to that, right? Or they can eat the same organic food or so for me, it doesn’t, I don’t even think twice about it because I’m like, that is making sure Matteo is also 50/50. Half of his other time is a good life, but where I have a hard time and I was like, “I’m going to kill this shit,” is just how everyone’s making it like I’m guilty. I lost. I was a liar. I haven’t lied about one thing and I’m going to just make that clear. I have not lied about one thing. The cops never asked me for autographs or photographs. I have been so damn honest from day one and that’s why when everyone says, “She’s glowing, she’s so happy,” because I’ve lived in my truth. You guys, I know how to take accountability. I know what it’s like not to be perfect. I’m not a perfect person, but if something like that, if it was opposite, I would have taken accountability. I would’ve have said, “I fuck up. I need help,” but that was not me that day.

Brie Garcia: It wasn’t.

Nikki Garcia: And so when I see people write all these things because I’m a pro wrestler, that’s not fair and because I’m a strong independent woman, that’s not fair.

Nikki Garcia on prenup regrets (10:43-11:44)

Nikki Garcia: I used to think when someone wanted me to sign a prenup, I took it as, “Do they not love me as much?” and now that I’ve experienced it and now learned and educated myself on it, now I get it. I will never, if I ever marry, which I doubt I will, but if I do, I’m not gonna be the never say nevers, or never, I’ll be the never say never, that yeah. Prenup no matter what. Doesn’t take my love away, it’s just because of what I’ve been through. I’m not gonna go through what I just went through.

Brie Garcia: Now we see what Goldie Hawn was onto.

Nikki Garcia: No. Honestly, it’s really, really hard and you just realize there’s so much control you don’t have. You’re sitting there in mediation and when you’ve built companies and you’ve built an incredible savings and all these things, 401k, all of it, and a person wants a piece of everything and you’re sitting there fighting for your hard work, it’s hard, but I put myself in that position, but I just never thought I’d be in that position.

The Nikki & Brie Show hosted by Nikki & Brie Garcia is available anytime on the SiriusXM app. New episodes every Monday and Thursday. Listen to the full episode HERE.

Mr. Kennedy discusses training Tiffany Stratton and more in interview

Former WWE Superstar Mr. Kennedy sat down with Chris Van Vliet on Insight for an interview where he discussed training Tiffany Stratton, his rivalry with The Undertaker, his signature microphone entrance and more!
On the first time he met Tiffany Stratton:
“So she was friends with Greg Gagne. Greg is a family friend, and Greg reached out to me and said, ‘Hey, I’ve got this girl, she’s a power lifter and she does gymnastics and stuff. She’s a super athlete, really good look, and I want to train her. Can we come?’ So she started coming and, right away, day one, she’s one of those people. I was saying earlier, we take our time to get to the flip bumps and stuff like that. But Alex Findley and Tiffany Stratton, day one, they’re doing perfect flip bumps, landing perfectly. Gable Steveson, show him how to bump and then get up a certain way. He did it. I said, get up this way, and he started getting up the wrong way. I said uh uh, then he reversed himself, back down, and got up perfectly the right way. But yeah, Tiffany, day one, there’s some stuff people just have instincts for, I think she’s one of those people. However, the funny thing was, I don’t mean this in a negative way, she didn’t have any charisma as far as she just did the work. She didn’t have the character stuff down. I have her first promo. I’ll have to ask her someday for her permission to put it out there, right? Because it’s not good.”
On always being able to catch the microphone in his entrance:
“I didn’t. There’s a really funny video, because they used to mess with me. They drop it real slow sometimes, or sometimes they just drop it. There’s one time where they dropped it fast and I missed it, the thing goes swinging. I just look up, there it is. I just knew where my mark was. It was one of those things too. I think for the most part, every day it was different in every ring, or in every arena. So I’d just get in there and check it and make sure. Or they’d come up and say, hey, it’s a little farther to the back today.”
On a stiff chair shot from The Undertaker:
“It didn’t hurt. I feel like WWE has erased that from their [history], you can only find that on YouTube. Every once in a while it gets scrubbed and taken down, because I’ve tried looking it up a few times, and it’s actually kind of hard to find or to get a good copy of it.”
How did that not hurt?
“Because instead of holding both legs, you hold just one set of legs. Get your thumbs inside. Then when you hit it, it just opens up. It just kind of folds. It wasn’t bad. He was one of the lightest guys I’ve ever worked with on anything, nothing he ever did connected.”
On the exploding microphone with The Undertaker:
“Magic! No, there was a guy in WWE, that was his job, magic department. If you go backstage, it says magic. It was like he was in charge of anytime there was a special effect that something needed to explode or blow up. He was the guy that did it.”
It didn’t seem safe:
“It was. The way he rigged it. He just said, as soon as you go to pull it back, we’re going to set it off. I think we tried it during the day. It was fine. It didn’t hurt.”

Cody and Brandi Rhodes at the Universal Epic Universe opening

Former WWE champion Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi were at the grand opening at Universal Epic Universe yesterday night in Orlando, Florida.

The two were interviewed and the interview aired during today’s live stream which kicked off this morning at 7:30 in Orlando.

Both Universal Parks fans, Brandi said that years ago, no one wanted to go with her to the Universal park until Cody said yes and it was actually their third date. He said that this was the place where he knew she was “the one.”

Cody also talked about the roller coaster named Stardust, bearing the same name of his former WWE gimmick.

“I truly am honored that the lowest point of my career has turned into joy for so many people,” Cody joked. He said he has not tried it yet but he hopes it takes everyone to the “fifth dimension.”

While both Cody and Brandi were dressed to impress in a nice dress and full suit, Cody was ready to play.

“I just wanna ride rides all day,” he said.
