Universal Pictures releases trailer of Hobbs & Shaw movie featuring Dwayne Johnson

Universal Pictures released the first explosive trailer of the upcoming Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw movie, featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Statham in leading roles.

The trailer features the same kind of action you will find in a typical Fast & Furious movie including fast cars, pretty ladies, guns, more guns, even more guns, explosives, even more explosives, and lots of humor.

The F&F spinoff is directed by David Leitch and written by Chris Morgan and along with Johnson and Statham it features Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby, Roman Reigns, Eiza Gonzalez, Eddie Marsan, Cliff Curtis and Helen Mirren. The film is scheduled to be released on August 2, 2019.

The plot revolves around Hobbs and Shaw joining forces to stop a new threat emerging from the cyber-genetically enhanced international terrorist known as Brixton, played by Elba. It takes place two years after the events of The Fate of the Furious.
