Tyrese Gibson rips on Dwyane Johnson for delaying Fast 9

Tyrese Gibson, one of the stars of the Fast & Furious franchise, used Instagram to rip on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, blaming him for Fast 9 being pushed back to 2020.

“Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41 for making The Fast and the Furious franchise about YOU,” he wrote.

He added that if they call him to remove the post, he still would not be deleting it. “Gn folks see you in 2020 April #FastFamily right? Nah….. it’s about #TeamDewayne #3yrs will it be worth the wait?”

Johnson is doing a spinoff based on his Fast & Furious character of DSS agent Luke Hobbs and he is being joined by Jason Statham, who is also part of the series. Tyrese then took a dig at The Rock and wondered if this spinoff will be just “another Baywatch,” a movie which didn’t do well in the box office.
