The Smashing Machine with Dwayne Johnson continues dismal box office run

Dwayne Johnson’s The Smashing Machine continued its horrendous run at the box office, losing 69% of the box office revenue from its first weekend to end the second weekend with just $1.8 million.

The movie, based on the life of MMA legend Mark Kerr, is still airing in 3,321 theaters across the United States, which makes the weekend figure even worse.

The Smashing Machine dropped to #8 on the chart in its second week and now has a total of $9,807,449 in total domestic gross.

It had a $50 million budget plus marketing, so this will surely be a big loss for studio A24.
